Blessed, I've been missing you. Hope DH's angiogram goes well.

LadyM, congratulations for DGS25. Sounds good!

I asked DD how middle son is doing with his job / college. He just got a promotion and I can't believe all the stuff they have him doing. He is working for an orthodontist. He is not studying to be a dentist, by the way, and none of us ever saw him doing this kind of work. But he's loving it and the people. He's the jack of all trades in the office, bookkeeping, errands, and they have him doing some patient work too. :o

I have to make this report, I'm so stoked right now. I fixed the super-duper vacuum. I had the filters in it wrong. The pictures in the manual are very hard to understand. We need Mystery to straighten this booklet out! I made notes about all this in my planner with several places to remind me where to look. I finally got the dust out of the office bathroom. It was getting really bad.

Dee, I will do that. We're texting right now. She does look in and read here often.

I've been plodding along at a slow pace all day. Got 2 hours/42 minutes last night (well, actually from almost 6 this morning). And then I just got another 1 hour/2minutes. So now I'm dragging even more.

Been tackling just one little job at a time.

Dh called after his Dr appointment this morning. He seems to be doing much better, though he/we know he has a ways to go. Think one of the reasons I didn't sleep was that DS-A had called me yesterday and had dh's life pretty well planned out. Then when I talked to dh last night he said to me, "You need to to DS-A"" and get him off my back. After the Dr today who said, "They're treating you like a baby. You need to be doing what you feel you can do." And he signed his 'back to work' papers. He talked with DS-A and with camp manager. DS-A had said that he planned to take Dh to work each day if in fact the Dr said he could go. Think he's at least happy that dh will go with that plan for now. He can't stay at camp as yet anyway according to management. He just needs to be on his own at least as much as possible. He's adamant about me not coming up there yet. Says it's too cold. If he's not going to be staying in the camper I'm happy to stay where I am right now. (Except I'd rather be with him). So I'm a little more relaxed now and perhaps I'll be able to sleep tonight. Dr feels (as do we) that so much of his declining health all went back to when he was on blood thinners. Dr warned him (as we already know) that he'll need to be on blood thinners again for about 6 weeks after the Watchman procedure. I'm really hoping that doesn't get scheduled till into May. Then I can be with him.

Good to see Blessed. Feeling better that Ken and Blessed's dh seem a little better. Hoping all the dh's health starts looking up.

Harmony, I was thinking a lot today about Sunny. Give her my love if/when you talk to her.

I have been doing the laundry very slowly all day. Last blanket is finally in the dryer. Bed is already remade from the mattress up to the blankets.

I reheated the chicken and dh wanted mac and cheese from a box.

It looks so nice out, but it's cool. Not cold. I've been outside a few times and dh was out in the garage with the overhead door up for quite a while. Dh loves this weather.

Hello! I feel like I've been AWOL forever -- I haven't posted since Tuesday, looks like -- so I'm barely catching up now -- but wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone!

I was gone most of the day Wednesday with dmom, and when I've been home, it seems I've been sleeping or waiting for dh to leave the computer alone! (I'm posting in between games of a double-header in college baseball right now!) I am recovering from this coughing some, but I still feel so tired I think I could sleep standing on my head.
DH is still having a harder time getting over it than I am, but he wants to go to church tonight, so I'm going to have to put on something to wear to that. Afterwards, we're going to eat with ds and dgd. DGS is going to the other grandparents' house.
We are skipping the College Town trip, though. DH just didn't feel up to it, especially considering the weather forecast. (Rain.)

I know I'm getting better though, because yesterday I s/s the master bath and completed the laundry, plus ironed for a couple hours to get dh's clothes caught up.

So glad to hear good reports from Mr. Dee & his doctor! Time passes pretty quickly; you'll be back together soon, Dee! (((HUGS)))
Also glad to hear good news from blessed and Kathryn's dhusbands.
DH here went to get labwork again today so he's anxiously awaiting news about that... it always makes him nervous, plus it aggravates him that doctor keeps checking him on a monthly basis.

WTG to LadyM and Harmony's dgrandsons! Sounds like the world of employment is going well for both!

Waving to everyone!!! I miss y'all when I don't get in here to check in for a day or two. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Tomorrow is another day.

argh I totally forgot about laundry & sheets. Sigh ... oh well maybe tomorrow.
I have the last coat of paint on the white table it is drying and the destressing will be later but at least I can get it out of the dining room to dry
for now.

I need to wash my hair.
It is raining a bit outside now.

Finished a show I have been viewing between rounds.
Had dinner and did up the dishes.
Sun is trying to come out now.

We went to church but I’m sitting out in the car now. The second time I had to leave because I was coughing so much, I decided to just stay out. Sigh.
Ours is also a very somber service, Harmony, and we are supposed to depart quietly. Dbil and his girlfriend are here but there won’t be much time for socializing afterwards. It’s raining pretty hard.
Tomorrow is another day.

Home from Good Friday service. This might be the first one that I have attended IRL. When I arrived at church, I was greeted by a DFriend standing at the nursery door. She said, "I'm doing nursery duty for you tonight" and another DFriend chimed in "If there are too many babies, I'll help her" I really don't mind doing the nursery and can watch the service live on the TV in the nursery, so I don't feel left out. However, I do love that these DFriends are willing to volunteer without being asked. DH and I were able to sit side-by-side during the service. There is usually a kid on both sides of me, so I don't get to sit next to DH very often.

I am going to kick my feet up and relax for a few minutes and then go play outside.

We watched our church's service online tonight. We had the communion packet and a dice (the part of the story where they drew lots over his robes) and a purple piece of cloth. It started with the story of the woman who broke her alabaster jar of oil and we had a tiny glass tube of some sort of liquid that smelled odd (I'll surely ask what is in that glass). Kind of an object lesson. And when it ended there was no music or more conversation and just the screen going dark. It's not my favorite service of the year but I do understand it.

I don't know what's going on at the church down the street here. They've had a big gathering every day this week. Tonight they were there for 2 hours. They are a very active church and they have a big food pantry every week thankfully at another location. If I didn't have a church I loved I would check them out.
