NOTHING has been simple around here for the past week! It’s like the universe is conspiring against us and dh is especially at his wit’s end. He has not felt good since the funeral Wednesday when he had to be on his feet so long.

Probably a good thing the computer is in the shop and I’m limited to this phone keyboard— too hard to enumerate all the little slings and arrows that have been thrown our way.
I think gremlins have infected all electrical devices— but the computer is the only pressing issue. People have been extra annoying as well — starting with the preacher and ending with drive thru cashiers. * eye roll icon *

Anyway, we will survive and I hope you all have a great week!
Tomorrow is another day.

Lucylee, just how I felt about Gremlins a bit ago. Hoping some of them leave you alone as some have left us.

I love the music video.

Went to early church again. I may never go back to the later services. My GFriend and her husband were feeling ill and didn't come. She thought she might have Covid. But her symptoms didn't sound like it to me. We had sat together for about 15 minutes on Friday, but I have been feeling fine. Tonight she says they have tested and do not have Covid, thank goodness. She's recently been in a doctors office and an imaging place, thinks she picked up the bug there. And she's already feeling better.

So, stopped at HD and looked at the parts for inside commodes. I couldn't match up the flappers. I couldn't get mine out of the tank. It is attached with a plastic strap instead of a chain and I couldn't figure out how to detach the strap. DH went back there and got it out. He's going to check on them. Gremlin in my bathroom I guess. Went next door to the nice shop to look at their earrings. All 3 of my every day pairs are worn out, they were inexpensive ones and the metal is unable to be polished any more. I found a pair I liked with the hinged clasp that seems the only kind that doesn't disappear from my ears. At home I opened them a bit with needlenose pliers and moved the little dangley disc front to back as it was put on backwards. I didn't notice but there is a tiny rhinestone pressed into it at the bottom and they had that side toward the back. Now it's fixed...I'll see how long this pair lasts.

Tomorrow we get to tackle that county paperwork again and get owner's signature notarized all over again. I'm not looking forward to this but best to get it done. G'night everyone!
