Dh went to see his best bud, and he lives an hour away! YAY!! I have at least 2 hours to myself. I told him to take as much time as he wanted.

Of course I spent part of the first hour sweeping and washing floors. I also put out some recycling, 2 bags of burnables, some garbage and some compost into it's bin.

I also have a load of laundry going. I've emptied the dishwasher as well.

I have been working on filing paperwork and discarding the really old stuff. (pre 2014) I'm also hoping to get my desk cleared off and cleaned so I can do "current" paper work from the past 16 months. I also want to get the paperwork shelf cleared off. There are 9 piles of "stuff", and I can see things that don't belong there.

Supper will be penne and spaghetti sauce. I think we will have a meat sauce. Depends on what dh wants when he gets home.

It's starting to rain here. Ah, well... April showers and all that.

Dee did you watch that game last night. Dh and I are somewhat surprised at the outcome.

Good morning, all...

I really want to be here. Laziness and feeling bad about laziness is plaguing me at home. I'm doing better at staying organized and on task at payroll, but home has slipped. Laundry done, not folded, some laundry needs to go in. Not doing much to maintain.

Positives:
Doing swish and swipe daily
Making my bed
Eating well
Getting some exercise

I hope to be back today to reflect a little more.

Yes, Cathy, we watched at least 2 periods. Dh said he turned it off during the 3rd period and then of course it went on to OT. So DD is finished working her 'fun job' for the year. Although that crew may have some upcoming jobs at another venue. That's all I can say about that.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RR! HOPE IT'S A GRANDIOSE DAY FOR YOU!

DH is out with his helper and opening up a few campers. Personally I'm not sure this is going to work out the way dh hopes, but we'll see. He certainly can't do the work.

DS-R & DDIL were just here measuring for the ramp. We're all certain dh is going to need it. His swelling is going down some, but the confusion seems even greater. He has an appointment Tuesday morning with the Dr who did his heart ablation in December. That has obviously failed. I'm just so concerned about his being ill this long. All this started last June for goodness sake.

Hi Kimmy!

We had a huge storm very early this morning. Tornado warnings. My bed is parallel to the wall with a big window. The lightning was something I have never seen before, flashing one after the next. Thunder too, but it was the lightning that alarmed me. Rain gauge today says 1 1/4" of rain. It was windy yesterday with this storm coming and it is windy today also. This storm was widespread and went from the east to the west. Lots of people on my news feed from our area were complaining about their ptsd from the hurricane.

Since I didn't sleep well last night I skipped going to church. I'd gotten up to tell DH he could take the car but he'd already left.

He is getting very frustrated that his knee is not recovering very much.

There is a recall for Fab uloso cleaning, a whole list of their different ones. I saw Lavender and Lemon on the list. Apparently their preservative was not put into their solutions during manufacturing and suspect a few bad bacteria might be present. They are recommending not to put down drains. I would have written down the codes, but there are too many. I couldn't get a link either because I got the info from someone else who reported it. Google the name I guess. I know some of you use this cleaner. I actually looked at it last time I was in the store but I ended up picking up the lysol instead.

Happy Birthday to RRose! I wonder if you had the storm earlier this morning too.

Good morning to the village! We were until past 8 p.m. yesterday and it was a long day.

I'm trying to limit out trips out and socialization today. I think we've agreed we'll go to the market here - it's opening day there - and we'll go to HD or it's counterpart for something to limit the washing machine walking. He may want to go to the phone store too - dh got a new phone but was too cheap to pay $ for his data to be transferred from the old one.

We're off to the phone store in a minute, I think. Maybe I'll look at a new phone.

---------------------

Later: We were at the phone store a long long time, then went to HD for a trowel because I've lost mine that I usually use to transplant things. It may have gone off the edge in the wheelbarrow with things that I pulled up.

So we're back home and perhaps we can forgo another trip out.

I've gotten rid of a pile of obsolete paperwork that is around 3 inches thick so far. Dh got home less than 3 hours after he left, so that has slowed me down somewhat.

Second load is in the washing machine. First load is completely away. I also did a load of dishes in the dishwasher and in the sink.

Now it's pouring rain.

Spaghetti sauce is simmering on the stove. We are having meatballs with our penne tonight.

Thanks for the BD wishes Dee and Harmony!

Harmony … yes we had a huge storm early this morning. Loved watching the storm from my bed.

Got up and met the kids for breakfast at our Bob Evens Restaurant. Then we all came back for visit. After everyone left we made our way to Publix to buy grocery’s for Sweetie while I’m gone. Thankfully he loves
Some of the frozen dinners. Came home, put everything away and ate a piece of birthday cake I bought for myself… and a piece for sweetie too.

Right now we’re watching baseball and I’m ready for a nap. Woke at 3:30 this morning and never went back to sleep… part of the reason was the storm was really wicked.

Happy Birthday!!! Rose!!!

hello everyone!
I am glad I got my outside dailies done (I did not weed though but everything else - check)

made soup and cut up veg for during the week. I have a menu plan.
boiled eggs.

goal tomorrow: make potato salad 1/4 recipe, carrot salad for 2 and chicken on the grill if it doesn't rain .
Tuesday: pasta dish with veg
I would like to see if I can make a small pot of onion soup - I am the only one who likes onion soup.
dh is eating canned cream soup with crackers soaked in the soup - I want to blend it like I was told but he said this works. I haven't heard him choke so I am nervous but willing to step back.

time to clean up the dishes -
it is always a joy to be here with you!
