It's Monday Morning what are you up to.
I have been up just a few min. what I did is in the h & f thread.
Last nite I had a surprise a friend was next door I had not seen for years and she came over said hi remember me and gave me a hug.
What a wonderful surprise. I was out watering.
The other neighbor had some one doing yard work I ask if she wanted iris when I get to digging them out she said "heck yea" that was great.
So I am excited also to hear of dd having a new job opportunity as well.
I slept in till 5:30. it is a lovely morning. Got to see pink and red roses in my back yard in bloom.
Did some planning posted a pic. of it on my yt channel and forgot it was a surprise to see it today as well as one of a crab apple tree in bloom from one of our walks last month.

Re: Monday Morning
I had a bunch of phone calls to make this morning, and now they are all done. I also started sorting some work paperwork into actual file folders.
I'm avoiding the kitchen. I'm not going to knitting today. Dh wants to go for a cheeseburger to a place between here and Toronto, so we are going out for lunch. We decided on lunch instead of supper because the traffic will be heavy at supper time.

Re: Monday Morning
Good morning, Nancy, thank you for getting us started. I'm feeling bleary eyed with so much to catch up on, and leaving again on Wed. a.m. I only unpacked what I had to last night, so unpacking and laundry may be the order of the day. I have nothing out of the house today. Tomorrow I have a workout and body work (turn back some of the mileage on my body from an eight hr drive home yesterday.)
I'm going to suggest we go to favorite place for eggplant tonight.
I really want to just go upstairs and work on genealogy but I'm not sure that I can squeeze out much time for it. I've walked the dog and she has played outside with Boston from next door.
I need to get up and move!
Also, ((Dee)) Hoping she can check in.

Re: Monday Morning
I'm going to list five things and try to focus on those before I come back through. My attention is all over the place today, not surprisingly!
-descale Keurig machine/refill coffee drawer
-make the bed
-s2s, straighten Mbath
-set up planner for this week and next - we don't get home until late next Monday evening.
(not happy with dh over flight arriving home at midnight)
-finish clearing kitchen counters of debris from trip and dh home alone

Re: Monday Morning
I have walked.
As I look around I can tell I did stuff over the weekend the place looks better than it did a couple of days ago.
Planning underway now.
I need to water doing the front now,
cleaned out the bird bath while I was out there. *
Clipped rosed by plant cage.
Took my vits.

Re: Monday Morning
I'm working on my laundry right now. Decluttering a couple drawers. Some sewing, mending, stuff like that. Just puttering around keeping busy.
Have a nice day!

Re: Monday Morning
Have been checking in daily, looking for an update from Dee. Telling myself no news is good news, & continuing to pray.
((Lady M)), I'm sorry that you have been depressed. I hope you are feeling better every day.
Quick post & run ... clothes laundry is washing & drying, scheduled yearly eye exam for myself & dh, set microwave timer for 5 minutes & worked as fast as I could to clear off kitchen table. Too many scraps of paper were there: reminders, things to be filed, old coupons, etc. Took everything off, wiped it down, replaced Spring placemats with Summer placemats. Looks much better.
Timer just went off for dryer. After folding & putting away this load, I'll make egg salad & slice tomatoes for lunch.
Hi to Nancy, Cathy, Harmony, Twins (welcome home!) & all who stop by later.

Re: Monday Morning
~~~waving Hello to all~~~~
((((Gentle Hugs to Dee)))
I woke up with a idea how to change the way I plan and prep meals for myself and the family. It is my intention to only plan/prep/cook/serve one menu. I explained my plan to DH and received positive feedback. With DH and I in agreement the kids will receive the same mentoring from us.
I have the general menu plan in mind and have full intentions to be kind to myself while I implement it. I know there will be some failures along the way and plan to give myself plenty of grace.
Re: Monday Morning
Quick check-in before my nap. He's been down an hour so I may not get a long one.
Apartment is now sealed up due to smoke from wildfires. With no a/c, I have fans running and the air filters on (which show indoor air is fine even though my eyes are stinging, probably psychosomatic.) We were out for a bit this morning at the park and then on the balcony and came in an hour before the smoke was to hit but I suspect it came in a bit sooner.
My Monday houseblessing is on hold due to dgs2 being here. But the bed is stripped and remade and first load of laundry is done.
