Rolls are done and turned out really nice only problem is the do not fit in the one gallon bag with out separating them. Dang!
Bread did this time so that is good.
Yes the place smells heavenly.
I closed the bedrooms and it warmed up with the oven and portable heater on after I found I needed to turn it to the heat setting!
I am not dressed except to put on a warm denim shirt that helped too.
I got the rocks on the table painted they now have purple dragonflies on them, a couple with other designs.
This will help me to get em off the table and help with decluttering it yea!
Did the dishes.
-----
Next up get dressed. *
Prep. Lunch
Figure out the afternoon part of my plan for today.

I'm trying to reset my work day, let alone week.

The morning was lost to the window treatment discussion, except I got my bare minimum Monday chores done before he arrived and also tidying so the house blessing will go easier.

It is 1:30 and I'm stalled.

It is nice and cool here so the No A/C is not currently a problem except someone just chewed me out on the Facebook group for closing off comments on all but the current a/c thread. His vision for the group is "supposed to be a reaction against that kind of oppressive treatment from the company", not the stated goal at the top of the page, "Building Friendships Within The IPT Community" so he said that my censoring comments was juvenile. All I had done is ask every one to post in one thread. No censoring, if you posted outside the thread, I'd move your words over to the correct thread and delete the original thread. So I am now teaching him what censoring is: he's moderated to 1 post over the next 24 hours and has received a warning that if he doesn't upheld the goal of the group, he will be fully censored and banned from the group.

Now to get the bedrooms blessed and the living room so I can move furniture back into place (it was out so the windows could be measured.) Turns out we can only have blinds in one of the 4 locations. The remaining 3 will be drapes. So he'll order the blind for the kitchen and that will happen fast. Choosing drapery is tricker but his wife (and he) have good eyes so they'll come back with material samples (he didn't bring them because we thought it would blinds, even though I didn't want blinds (or anything, really.)

Thank you LadyM for the update in J&C. I did go and read that. I usually look to see if anybody new has posted anything there before I come here. So on purpose I did not answer yours so that people would see your name first and be sure to look in since we know you are in touch better than we are. I hope Dee knows how fervently we all are praying for her.

I was teary reading that new post. It is sort of a teary morning here anyway. I'm not having a great day.

My ears are clogged and the tinnitus is extra loud today and I had to tackle something hard including phone conversation that I was afraid I couldn't do. I'm beginning to think I might have to find another ear dr. and go get an opinion. I also need to see my dermatologist. My appointment with her is 4 months away. My lips are chapped and I've been unable to heal them. My skin is sore all the way up to my nose and I've tried every ointment but one. I use that one for my hands but I'm told not to use it on my face because it makes the skin thinner. I've tried every moisturizer or oil and no matter what I use it just becomes itchy. Lip chap sticks don't work. It's burning almost like I've put an acid on it. Even Vit E oil doesn't help. I'm uncomfortable in my own body right now.

But one less worry.... I finally got the new remote to the master bedroom's TV programmed to work. Old one quit working and they sent another, but it took me an hour on the phone with them to get it working properly. I've actually had it here for a couple days but with everything going on I put it away till I was brave enough to tackle it. Y'all can love your electronics... I just don't.

Found out I neglected to pay a bill...somehow I never got the email notification...dumb company that put me on paperless when I didn't want that.... and now I'm a month behind. I did pay 1 month today and in another week I'll pay another month. I printed out a copy of the check I wrote the dentist so now I have the amount...never did find that receipt. Sigh... knocking out the problems around here one at a time.

Putting the TV paperwork back in the file I found 2 packets for TV's I no longer have. Those are tossed.

I have a headache from the noise in my head. I think I'll just go sit somewhere.

I did manage to reboot the day and got the house blessing done (with just attacking visible messes on the kitchen floor, not mopping fully because that's not efficient before dgs2 arrives for 2 days!)

I also repotted a plant.

The window coverings are in place on the west side, all windows are shut. Within 2 feet of the window, the room is 88 but if you move further away from the window it drops to mid 70s. I put up the shower curtains in the north windows that don't have window coverings and closed 2 of the patio doors but the sun isn't on the living room door yet and the air is blowing from the open east side windows keeping the living room at 74 and the bedroom is only 70. (It is 70 outside.)

It is amazing how manageable the apartment is with these precautions and how the sun not the outside temperature is what is making the kitchen unbearable.

I have a little bit more paperwork organizing to do and then it will be dinner and I will hopefully finish my church service, or at the least, the power point, by bedtime.

I want to ask what you all use to clean the top of a fridge or china hutch.
I have one loaf of bread in the deep freezer down stairs, and half of a batch of rolls.
The others are two in a bag for upstairs. Best yet I must admit.
I did 3 min. pruning outside so I could put a check on that box, it started to rain.
I dusted the living room.
Did get in the shower before the walk.
Trash is out.
Quail are in our yard making their cute noises.

For the top of my Fridge I use a cleaner called Fantastik! It is for cleaning kitchens and nothing cuts through grease like that.

https://www.homedepot.ca/product/fantas ... 1000129929

The top of my china cabinet is wood so I just use a wood cleaner, Orange Glo Cleaner.

https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/oran ... 0299p.html

For regular kitchen cleaning I just use a spray bottle with vinegar and water, and for the sink or a deeper counter clean, baking soda. But layers of grease don't build up on these surfaces so I don't need the Fantastik for them. I'm short so I don't do the top of the fridge often cuz I can't see the dirt up there!

My china cabinet is in the dining room and far enough from the kitchen that it doesn't get grease build up, just lots of dust build up.

BTW: about Rosie's new cleaning device, it interested me but the reviews talk about the scrubber covers detaching from the spinning attachments fairly quickly. The exact model she had isn't available here but there were at least half a dozen on Amazon with the exact same picture. Which is just the way my self watering plant pots were sold, I had lots of companies to choose from, each with their own listing at their own price point.

Awww, Harmony, I'm so sorry. I know what you mean about a tearful day. I almost felt that way after dealing with the washing machine yesterday and then it still walked all over the laundry room.
