I have not been doing a lot today but did get the laundry down stairs to the basement and laundry area.
Brought up water and took out some otter pops for the crew.
They are nearly done pushing to get it done for a diff. job tomorrow out of town I think.
They are using a smaller compressor today it is quieter not as much nailing needed.
The dog is barking at workers across the street now.
Got some videos / shorts for later.
------
I need to think on my dinner. prepped veg.I need to chop the chicken to go in the salad.
They were 8 screws short so Mon they will be back bc of out of town work the rest of the week & weekend.
I sent some of the junk food with them to get it out of here.
Deck rail looks good yea! Stair rail is up on both sides too.
They almost forgot the hose for their compressor it will not work with out that.
They were glad I spotted that.

I’m back at hotel after being at the library from 8:15 to 4:15. I left long enough to get some lunch at a food court type place that is a short walk from library.

I slept very poorly last night; I’m pretty sure I’ll sleep better tonight. When I leave the library tomorrow I’ll be getting on the road in outgoing Nashville traffic. Not looking forward to drive home but at least I’ll get home in daylight.

Mystery, good luck with all that. I've been on many diets. Hated all of them. I'd be interested in learning what magic solution your nutritionist tells you. If there is one. In the same Dr. appointment, my dr. told me I should do K eto, then a few minutes later told me I should be on a plant-based diet. I'd like her to explain how that works together, I'll bet it doesn't very well. If I focus on one thing, the other goes haywire. I've just about decided I should just give up. Then my stress would be less as I wouldn't be obsessed every time I get on the scale and every time I put a fork or spoon into my mouth or every time I try to make a plan or mark something down. And if I wasn't stressed about it so much I might tend not to eat as much. Problem solved!?

Anyway, thinking about eating well.... I went for lunch with my GFriend. We went to a place where there are lots of healthy choices. I got a big salad, but they got crazy with the vinegar in the dressing and I couldn't eat much of it. Then we ran into a trio of ladies who were eating at the next table. We knew them from our church and they were also celebrating a birthday like we were. One of them had brought a big cake with homemade fudge icing and of course gave us nice big pieces. So much for eating healthy! And I was so trying to be good because I have my 6-month lab work tomorrow. I was not going to sabotage it with bad eating today. Did I eat all that cake? Yeah...y'know...

So I went next to battery/light bulb place and again tried to buy a bulb for my task light...they had the same one I already tried. 2 for $18.00. No, not making that mistake again. I'm going to give that lamp swimming lessons. That's the joke DH and I use about anything we're planning on throwing away. He and his helper used to joke about throwing broken equipment into the nearest canal...which they never did....but that was the joke. Task lights are cheaper than the bulbs. But the ones I saw today had no way to see what kind of bulb they took. Not setting myself up for that mistake again. DSis bought me one of those neck lights and I will check to see if that will work for my sewing machine and puzzles.

Too hot to do anything today. And I'm not eating much for dinner. Maybe I'll do a LOL.

Kathryn, have a safe trip and a pleasant vacation.
