Friday Focus to Finish

I need focus today and there's too much going on. We have the house being power washed this morning and the dcleaning lady coming too. And I need to be ready to leave for the weekend around two this afternoon so we can get ahead of ATL traffic. We're visiting friends near Marietta for the weekend.

Other stuff:
-FIRST get the house straightened up for dcleaning lady
-leave notes and $ for A and her ds S, who will dog sit for us, thankfully
-drugstore re: meds. Doc made an error in May when he wrote script for 2-3 Gabapentin daily when I take three daily. So a three month supply should be 270. Pharmacy interpreted it as 2 daily so I only received 180 - and I had picked it up before I realized. So I suggested that doc rewrite it when I ran out of meds after two months, which he did. And now, the pharmacy says it can't fill yet because it's not due until next month. So I need to straighten that out!
-get packed up
-what else?

And ddog is going to start wanting to walk as soon as I get out of this seat, but she'll have to wait.

As usual we were up early. Dh was sitting out on the patio, so I went to join him. He wanted to go to Costco right then. So I went and got dressed and off we went. Then he had a snit in Costco because I was looking at the chicken tacos and he told me to get out of the way. I told him that's the way costco is, with everyone in every one else's way, all the time, He went to the truck. I grabbed what we went in there for and out I went to the truck. He was in a snit all the way home. We had the great misfortune of ending up behind a garbage truck on the main street of a small town... Another snit. He's just been in a mood since i woke up. I'm not going to Costco with him again for quite a while.

Tonight's supper will be pizza and wings getting delivered.

CI ... 1st today I will say I had leg cramps in the night got up had water and some vinegar. Hydration reminder.
Did some Journaling.
Worked a bit on PUPA in the liv room. Did 20 min on patio. Picked up the back yard. My 20 min. in the morings is really paying off I can tell at difference yea!
Walked ddog.

Next I have Eggs to devil.
There is an estate sale not far so I want to see if they have anything I can put in the patio area planters and such.
I suppose I have plenty but I enjoy looking and counts as some thing social for me. Not much in the mornings at businesses till it's hot out.

Back from 2 stops
no luck at the sale but at least I found it and was able to look.
Stopped by the produce stand on my way home that was a success.
Deviled eggs are made got meat out to thaw nearly forgot.
Eleven is lunch so I can cook / prep. next.

I am like over it remembering why I do not have folks over.
I am a morning person and most people are not!
It is now too hot to enjoy the deck and patio is fiffy.
Front shade area not sure on it.

My new pans are great but cooking this time of year seems to loose some of the fun.
Glad I made some stuff up ahead LOL!

I was up on the early side too.

At this point the house has been pressure washed. Thank goodness that's done. Dcleaning lady is still doing her magic but I'm cooling down sitting right here at the kitchen counter. I usually get out of her way but I'm feeling whipped. Once I had breakfast I went to drugstore and that took awhile. I busted my kitchen mop while straightening up this morning so I went in the grocery next door to the pharmacy and got a new one. Also went back in a second time and bought an orchid for dfriends that we're visiting and pottery planter that was marked way down. Back home, it was time to walk the dog. We did not go a long way - I think a lap and a half, or maybe it was two and a half laps. I'm having some water cut with gatorade. The humidity after the rain this a.m. is sky high!

I sure am tired. Once dcleaning lady is done I need to pack a few things. I was trying not to pull things out until she was done.

I hope to post to you all individually but I am behind the 8 ball

dd older had to take dh to the er as his hand/arm balloon up - but the blessing - No blood clot. No reason for it to be the way it is. He does have to see a dr. for crystals in his kidneys. Boy this poor guy doesn't get a break from anything medical.

good thing - he is happy and he feels great. Thank goodness for dd older and dd younger.
I couldn't take him but dd older did!

Started off my morning because I had a terrible migraine most of yesterday.. Came back from playing bocci ball and it over took me. Didn't get to sleep until late last night and decided not to go to my morning class.

However I did make it to my coffee gathering. We have many lakes in our community and we had a speaker telling us about the condition of our lakes. Glad I went because my lake is the sickest of all.

Now that I'm back, I'm playing catch up with what was needed to be done yesterday. The laundry is going and I'm about to head out to the grocery store. Sweetie is out of bread which mean's he can't eat his lunch....

I'm having a relaxed day...well as relaxed as it can be while mentoring 2 and keeping up with dailies. I know the end of summer mode is happening soon with school starting in 20 days. I am intentionally staying in summer mode as much as I can.

We have a text group for the 3-generation immediate family, and I have recently started using it to encourage daily life skills. Everyone checks in when they have completed the daily assignment.

DD47 is cooking a celebration meal for us tonight at her home. I appreciate her desire to do something nice for us.

Went to post office
Home, talked to ds on phone
Took dh to get labwork
Read paper
Helped dh lay out
— meds for next week
— breakfast dishes for next week
— Sunday lunch items
— mail
Took pics of DH’s medicine bottles, need to type up in Excel like I did dmom’s
Dried dh’s shower

I’m going back to sleep now.

Brunch went well.
Had to let a robin out of the plant cage not the first time one on the outside was chirping loudly like a freak out kind of chirp.
I put another rock in the path had to put one that was not slick and smooth.
My pans did good on the food today.
Glad we had enough for another meal for to go and later for me.
I am hydrating now.
Thinking what is next... wipe down outdoor kitchen area when it cools off outside.
I moved a few bricks like 5 out of the patio zone, they need to go with the others in front I think.
I napped and have been watering after the shade got to the yard. Cooled down to 95* from 100*.
Hydrating has helped me I am glad.

DD47 doesn't feel well so we canceled tonight's meal at her home. I'm not feeling 100% so am glad that I don't have to push myself to get through it. I am using a heating pad on my back ribs in hopes of relieving the pain. Today has not been highly productive but there have been many good moments so I'm feeling okay about it. Hopefully tomorrow will be even better.
