Re: Sat. Projects
Our project for the day is travel. We are on the road now, headed to Nashville. Just dh, me, and dgrands. Ds is playing music in MS.
Dh and ds are at odds about departure time tomorrow. So, I’m a bit concerned that they will work this out and both be agreeable. IMHO, ds was just in a generally bad mood when dh brought up the subject, and dh “interpreted” his tone too personally.

Re: Sat. Projects
I did not know that some phones have FM chips. It is something that I never considered but decided to check it out. After reading one how-to article I decided to try. What's the worst that could happen? I had beginner luck. My Note 8 does have a FM chip! I installed the NextRadio app which confirmed the FM chip presence. I followed the instructionto deny, deny, deny location and use other for the country and BOOM! I now have FM radio without using data or wifi. Thanks for the inspiration, Kathryn!

Re: Sat. Projects
I went into the bedroom to read. which I did. Then I napped. Woke up to dh snoring beside.
I have put on a large pot of water to boil. We will be having mac and cheese from a blue box. Also known as KD. (Kraft Dinner) For that delightful gourmet spin on tonight's supper, I will be adding hot dogs for dh.
Tomorrow I will have to clean the oven. I turned it on the other day to make something and it was very smoky before it got up to the temperature I wanted, so I turned it off.
Earlier today I did 1 load of laundry and even put it in the dryer. I also swept and mopped the middle of the floors. Did some large pots and pans in the sink and put all the dirty plates into the sink to rinse for the dishwasher. While supper is cooking, I will load the dishwasher.

Re: Sat. Projects
I have been a slug today and it's been glorious. I took an afternoon nap haven't done much else. Dh and I just walked the ddog another lap. I'm at 60K steps for the week.
Dh bought the Asian chicken wraps at costco and I ate a cup of watermelon - and my glucose went to 170 for awhile. Need to continue experiment - was it the wrap, the sweet Asian dressing which I know has sugar, or the watermelon. Or all of them?
Dh said salami cheese etc. for our supper was "too much like his lunch" so I suggested we could be on our own. We have cold cuts. leftover grilled chicken, stuff for salads and plenty of food choices. I'm having a Big Green Salad, since I had that carb heavy lunch.

Re: Sat. Projects
No projects here. I am still in my pj's.
I sent text to niece about their birthday celebration tomorrow. Of course we won't be coming. also called my church friend that I'd be unable to pick her up tomorrow. I used a different brand of test kit and this one definitely says I've been infected. So no guessing any more. I am really way more than tired. I slept for about 3 hrs this Afternoon.
Made a little rice and chicken mix and it tasted awful. I'm drinking a small coffee and that doesn't taste any better. DH did manage to eat his.
Pretty concerned about DH. He really sounds bad. I think this is going to take a while.

Re: Sat. Projects
(((Harmony))) I hope you have a mild case. Even if you do, 3 hour naps will be part of your near future, often more than one a day. Thanks for checking in.
LadyM: I'm glad I can help. The Note20 can't have the chip activated any more. Just checked with dh and he has the Note5.
I did eventually shower and dress. And I put my August shampoo in the shower. And do that laundry.
Checked with TG and she will take a set of queen sheets to go with the queen camping mattress. And I booked the hotel room for the family bbq in August. I managed to get us firmly logged out of Marriot to the extent that by the time we managed to reset passwords and find a browser that let dh in, the room was sold out. As the Quality Suites, so we are down the road at a Homewood Suites. At least we got something.
Oh, and I ordered a better case for my phone since I'm constantly cracking my screen protector. The new case comes up around the front edges better in order to protect it better.
I have a cough so am praying I didn't pick up something at the theatre on Thursday. I'm off to bed now to try and get some sleep. We slept in until 8 this morning. Dh was amazed. I wasn't. It is amazing what shutting the blinds tight and turning off the alarm will do. Especially since I turned out my light at 11:30.

Headed home. We all enjoyed the show very much.
Getting here — not so much. Oh my, traffic is HORRIBLE. It’s tax-free weekend (here and at home.) Dh and I had some words. But it’s all good now. And apparently all good with ds re: tomorrow.
((((((Harmony & Mr. Harmony)))))) Much love and prayers for you both.

(((The Harmonies))) Get Well Soon! Hoping for a return of appetite, too.
Had a good time with the children, looking at dgdC's flower planting, seeing new items, playing a board game, being silly.
Ds said the theater was obviously a popular place but their screening time wasn't extremely crowded, so that is good to hear insofar as the possibility of virus spread. Of course, there are SO many times on the schedule, so other times may have been super crowded.
