I am enjoying being back to my normal energy after a couple of months of being sick & recovery.

I've decided to focus on hourly goals today. Will my energy level remain steady or wane?

7-8am hour goal -
** My AM personal care cards (body clean & D2S, hair, face)
** Update healthy habit spreadsheet
** update Cronometer
** Exceed hourly step goal (>250)
** care for rabbits. Food, water, move cages to fresh grassy area, cut off some sweet potato vines for them to eat.
** Check & water garden. Available for harvest tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, sweet potatoes, beets
** Take DD12 to school
** Visit with DH about his goals for today.
** Send family text with daily life skills for today.
** Check DS15 hand to make sure gash is healing okay.
** Enjoy sipping cup of coffee to the last drop

Hi!

Dh is out in the garage. One of the neighbours wandered over earlier. I don't hear them yacking, but I'm not going out to check either.

It's very humid here. I'm going to a book store later this morning. I don't know where else.

No idea what is for supper.

I'm wary about doing hourly goals but am going to see how long it lasts before I get distracted and SIDETRACKED.
7-8am goals meet so I will proceed with high hopes but low expectation.

8-9am hour goals -
** Homeschool with DS15
** make/bake meatloaf
** Cook chicken tenderloins
** Make 4 boxes mac & cheese
** DH @ fairgrounds to disassemble kiddie car ride

1. Have walked 3500 steps with ddog
2. Got garbage out to street, with truck waiting for me, thankfully!

I have a workout again today - hoping for no more COVID complications! Dh went this a.m. and reports that he got a great workout. His workout was at 7 a.m. and I was up at 7:15 here. I did not let the alarm go off for 45 minutes!

Getting busy. The big things today are some work on the house (specifically the garage, including that refrigerator) and working on the case study rewrite. I gotta get it done and behind me!

My Ta-Da's so far:

Dressed *before* tea and chocolate!

Went for a walk right after T&C because there was a hint of cool. It was already over 80 with the high to be in the mid nineties today, and 'feels like' temp over 100. The a/c is holding so far but every staff member here has their fingers crossed. The building super has superchilled the social room with the portable a/c units so that if the a/c goes off people have a place to go. But most specifically this has been done for the staff who he told at the morning staff meeting to work steadily and productively this morning, taking water and cooling breaks and then more slowly in the afternoon taking longer water and cooling breaks in the social room. Obviously the building manager should have said this but when he didn't mention the heat at all, the super interrupted the meeting to let the staff know there was relief and different expectations *from him* for them today.

Came home from the walk soaking wet, drank 2 more glasses of water (and have had another while typing here) and have set up fans on me to dry me off.

Next up, reserve a hotel for the wedding.

Yes, Harmony, ds and TG are getting married late October. DFosterS is flying up to be best man, and dd will be there (not dsil because no children are invited.) It is on dfs' birthday. Since it is an hour away from here, it makes the most sense to take a room at the hotel nearby. They are having an insanely small wedding, just 20 people, and it will be in a park. They are not planning anything other than the ceremony but I stepped in and said there had to be at least a tea for people after so they can warm up after standing outside for 30 - 45 minutes.

The last hour things took longer than I expected. I always forget that chopping and prepping vegetables is time consuming. Anyway they are done.

9-10am hour goals -
** Homeschool with DS15
** Monitor meatloaf baking
** Package ready-to-eat food and put in refrigerator
** Exceed hourly steps >250
** Vacuum main 8 rooms

Good morning! I am bleary because my CPAP was not staying on well last night. This happens too often; I had to switch brands of mask because the one I had been using was unavailable due to a recall. I have an appointment with the pulmonologist in a couple of weeks, and I will see if I can get back on the brand that fits me better.

It’s pretty beastly here today. I’m debating whether to work with the kids on their rooms today, or give today a pass. Maybe we can see how long we can bear, even if it’s only 15 minutes. Then we can come back to the living room oasis. And, of course, there’s still laundry to be done.

Glad Twins is feeling better; waving at everyone else because my brain’s too bouncy.

Those hourly things accomplished. I did better on estimating how much I could accomplish in an hour. I had extra time, so I used it to put my feet up while responding to several text messages from friends.

DH is home and will take a break before we leave for the gym. I don't know how long his break will last so I might go to gym during this next hour or it might be closer to noon. Either way is fine and I can just swap other items from one hour to the other.

10-11am hour goals -
** Homeschool with DS15
** package meatloaf into individual portions and refrigerate
** Exceed hourly steps >250
** Swish/swipe my bathroom
** Gym with DH

My brain is kind of bouncy too, Mystery. What a fun way to think of it!
-finished a.m. routine, including s2s
-picked some zinnias to take to my workout place this afternoon
-got a bowl off the counter into my open front cabinets and put small plates from there into dishwasher (I'll use them for Rosh Hashanah)
-started dishwasher
-have reboot laundry and need to fold a load
-paid a bill for the HOA online
-purged and saved some ema
-emptied waste baskets in powder room, our bedroom and bath. Meant to do before garbage ran this a.m. but didn't manage

I'm heading upstairs for a bit.
