I looked online to see if my test results were posted so I could review them before my appointment. I'm a bit shocked and wondering if I could be misreading the results. My Total Cholesterol, TRG and LDL are less than half when compared to previous years. I did start taking a low dose of statin since my previous annual blood work, but can that explain such a big change? A1C was about the same (5.7). They checked lungs to see if there was any damage from covid but everything came back normal. The bone density test results haven't been posted online yet so I will have to get them at the appt.

I cooked another dozen + of chicken tenderloins to put into the ready-to-eat stash. Those disappear about the same speed as milk. They rarely last more than 24 hours.

I've had breakfast, got dressed, and vacuumed and dusted the office while dh ate his breakfast.

My podcast app PocketCasts is currently unstable. I thought it was me but after repeated problems over the past week (including clearing its cache and then uninstalling and reinstalling it and restarting my phone) I went to the internet and I'm not the only person. It is up and down so people are reporting 'fixes' only to come back and say "oops, I can't use once more for some reason." I'm listening to my favourite on Spotify right now but that isn't a full solution. For one thing, the account is what the car uses and so is polluted by all the suggestions based on dh's use and me loading things for the grands to listen to.

Everything I read shows that PocketCasts is still the best UI (I moved there from Overcast and YT Music after researching this years ago) but it is also unstable now.

It is very frustrating to have all my tech stuff falling apart simultaneously. It feels like there is little refuge from the constant "how do I fix this so things will work?" My anxiety is through the roof on this. My sleep stats the first 2 nights at Hay Lake were wonderful and they have dropped to their lowest since I had Covid (and have stayed low longer than when I had Covid) because of the background stress and worry about all that isn't getting done and all the things I've effed up.

I just got home from helping the judges at the fair. The fair opens tomorrow, so all judging is done today. There were 2 small tables of knitting and crocheting (Senior's Division) and after that the judge that I was assisting headed over to the vegetables. There were 8 long tables, plus the massive pumpkins. My job was to mark down the exhibitor number on a 12 page long list of categories. The judge messed up a few times, giving 3 of the 4 prizes, even when there were more than 3 exhibitors in that category. After I did all that, with 2 older women coming along behind me and attaching (sp?) the ribbons, I was exhausted. I do know that there is at least 2 farmers that will be taking home a lot of prize money. Each category had different prize ranges. A basket of potatoes getting first prize wins $10, but a plate with 3 potatoes wins $5 for first prize. Ugh! So many numbers, so much counting, so many exhibitors. My brain hurts. My back hurts and my feet hurt.

Dh will be taking me out for supper tonight. Thank goodness, because I just want to lay down and sleep.

Cathy, that sounds interesting. And difficult.

We are looking like it might rain in a bit. I'm glad for that. Which reminds me, I should check out that storm there. It is not supposed to be coming our way but I want to be sure.

I have no enthusiasm. I am feeling more stress than I have in a long time. Right before this, a day or two before I was feeling great and encouraged. I have not had a swing in mood like this for years. I don't like it. It's almost like I felt it descend on me last night when I went to bed. I thought it was from seeing my friend's condition and being sad for her. But I think it is more than that.

DH has his new phone, it came day before yesterday. He has been fussing with it, on and off the computer, the phone, and every few minute he asks me something I cannot answer. I can't do anything to help him with this. We have no one to tell us what to do. He got all his contacts in his last phone by himself, putting them into the computer, then transferring to the phone. I have no idea how he did that, and he does not remember, and he never writes anything down. These are not smart phones though they have some of those features. Last night I told him a place he might go and ask for help, and today he wants me to go with him. Right now he's fussing with his bike seat again.

It feels like I never have any interaction with him except for when he is complaining about something that he wants me to fix, or finding something for him. I think I overdid it yesterday, too many chores, and the shock of being with my friend in her condition... and I feel burned out. I answered a letter this morning, and while I did not write a letter like the above, all these thoughts came to the forefront in my thinking. sigh...

Tomorrow is our Bible Study and I think I will go to our little library on the way home and get a few things to read. That used to help me. I guess we are never going to get our nice library back.

Cathy - That does sound exhausting but also very interesting.

Kathryn - it is frustrating when multiple digital hardware and software requires troubleshooting at the same time. I hope it settles down asap.

((((Harmony))))

I watch with curiosity people who have reduced the amount of STUFF and live a minimalist life. Less stuff = less repairs needed. I'm like a kid with my nose to the candy store. The thought of reducing the number of stuff & repairs sounds very appealing to me

The insides of my toilet broke over the weekend. I took the top off the tank and have been manually flushing it while waiting to get parts replaced. It still works but isn't as easy as pressing a handle.

DS15 pickup started leaking coolant and he is now trouble shooting it I think he will need to replace the coolant tank. He is learning how fast the motor will overheat with no coolant. There is little margin for error.

One of the rabbit cages is about to break. I'm trying to decide whether to attempt repairing it or start fresh with a new cage.

DH and I are back from gym and stopping by grocery store for few items we can't purchase at Sam's. It wasn't the best idea to stop at the grocery store after exercising. We were red-faced and sweaty. Ohs well.

I have an hour before needing to be OTD for doc app. I'm taking a few minutes to rest and then will take a shower and change clothes.

I'm home from workout. I considered not going - my tummy was weird this a.m. and I've just been so tired. I did go and dtrainer did what he called a "maintenance" workout. Not pushing hard, but just working with what I can do already. It was good for me. I'm still tired but no worse.

Ddog is out, when I get her in back in I need to s2s. I haven't been very productive today.

hello -
the a/c gentleman came - it ended up being a part costing $387.00 much cheaper than I expected. Even though its quite a bit; it is not the amount that it could have been :D

Hello d lady! it's amazing that your cholesterol went down! yay! yay that your lungs are nice and healthy!

I agree - if it was up to me I would reduce more and more to almost nothing. I want the feeling not the stuff.
hope your toilet gets fixed
I am sorry his pick up is having problems. Is he insured if he drives by himself. I know in Illinois it's a ticket for driving without a 21 year old in the car and they can loose their license for a year. If you are in an accident, without an adult driver, then there can be consequences for the permit driver. I was curious if he just drives it on your land or is there a law that says he can drive on the roads without an adult driver. just curious. I always thought it was interesting that a 14/15 year old could drive a tractor and a truck/car on their land but can't drive on the main roads.
I think it's great you went exercising - You just glistened when you went to the store. you were dazzling!

hi d Harmony! I pray that your stress goes away!!! I also hope you feel so good that the energy picks you up both mentally and physically!
I am praying for your dear friend! I always wonder if our spouses feel the stress we have and end up telling us about their own struggles.
I hope you take the time for you at the library. It sounds like you need time for you!
praying for you d harmony!

hi d cathy yay for helping the judges today! It seems like so much mental work as well as physical work! I hope your back and your feet feel better
hope the dinner out helps you feel rested!

hi d Nancy! yay on your errands
yay on your work!
hello again

hi d Kathryn. I am sorry your tech stuff is giving you problems! Hope it all works out!
