Happy birthday Blessedw2!
Hi! Thank you for starting us off today LadyM!
We are celebrating having a working boiler. The company that installed the new boiler in July came by this morning just after 8 and checked everything. The thermostat needs to be replaced. They put a temporary one and will bring back one that is for heated floors either tomorrow or Tuesday.
We had a nice breakfast at home I had French toast. Dh had fried eggs, home fries with onions and mushrooms and toast.
Supper tonight will be penne and meat sauce. Dh will have hot Italian sausage with his meal.
Other than that, dh will have plenty of NFL (American) football to watch today. Right now he can watch American on the weekend and Canadian (CFL) during the week, so he is very happy.

Happy Birthday Blessed With 2!
I am celebrating that I remembered the new budget tweaks and am on track with that yea!
Got my planning done for the week.
Got in the shower last nite and my hair is dry this morning another plus for my day yea.
Up at five and it's a pink sky today.
I need to decide on my top 4 sewing projects. They are small so that will help.
I have 2 done the pockets on nightgowns, the ones on the side seam may be a better option for next time vs the ones in front.
A phone weights so much more than a tissue makes it feel wonky.
Had my bfast.
Time in the garden yesterday helped me to get a grip on some issues so glad for that. Yea!
Gratitude journal is done just a few more weeks and I"ll be able to to the grateful 8 I want to do next.

Re: Sunday Celebrations
Cathy - Your day sounds well planned. Good food, good company and sports! That is a winning combination for many.
Nancy - What is grateful 8?
A pan of roasted sliced potatoes are disappearing quickly this morning. They are savory little morsels that typically get eaten one at a time when someone passes by the kitchen counter.
Tomas made it through his first night here without any problems. I found him sleeping in DD12 bedroom this morning. That means there is one dog sleeping in each bedroom. He is frequently pacing room to room which I can only assume is his way of learning the layout of the house and also looking for DGS24. He has never had a backyard, so I suspect he is enjoying that freedom. Tomas is used to DGS24 taking him outside on a leash twice a day.
This morning is normal Sunday activities. Small groups and worship with church family.
I don't have a plan for lunch so it will be something simple and quick to prepare. Grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken/cheese quesadillas.

Re: Sunday Celebrations
Happy Birthday bw2! Hope you have a wonderful day and beginning to the next trip around the sun!
We had a successful day yesterday with a house full of people! And I am still exhausted! i think we'll probably go to the river today - our friends are there this weekend but I want to be around here some too. Dh has done a lot of clean up but there's still putting away to do. Table clothes still on tables, extra stuff still out, ordinary stuff that sits around put away. I need down time.
My right glute and hip and down the leg are still screaming with tightness. I have a massage appointment tomorrow afternoon to try to get at it, and I'm taking it easy this week. BTW, I had 73K steps in the week that ended last night.
One goal for this next week is the article revision that I need to finish.

Re: Sunday Celebrations
Grateful 8 is a list of 8 things you are grateful for. A gratitude list to start off the day to journal. What is Grateful 8? LM
I heard Stephen Furtick talk about that on you tube.
I have walked the dog fixed my hair and cooked myself an egg.
This is me NOT baking anything for a while.
Got the weeds out of the area I was weeding found things I could move them with,
they are in temp. spots now used the 2 wagons I have, a tote with wheels & a box in a wagon,
I have them in the carport for now. I will see what will fit in the can on trash day.
I am trying not to do much today but I did a bit too much sitting yesterday so I"m trying to remedy that.
Have a happy & peaceful Sunday.
I'm still deciding on church. I'll have to change shirts and see if it messes up my hair.

Happy Birthday
Nancy, why, particularly, are you deciding on 4 sewing projects?
Twins', that is quite a tally of steps.
Hmmm ... .. lucylee, you don't seem to have much time, and the time at which you don't have much time isn't the time at which we are used to seeing you. Hoping none of this means your days are difficult, and that there is some good info and a wise plan for your dmother?
Football - so grateful that I live with a man who got football out of his system long ago and genuinely likes other tv just as well or better. I remember interminable football games with my ddad's tv watching. It was the reason my dmother ever got a good antenna on top of the house, actually. It was also the reason she put another tv in another room, come to think of it.

Re: Sunday Celebrations
Answer: CEO recommended that and I tend to get over ~ whelmed so a place to begin is great for me and helps me not toHarriet asked Nancy, why, particularly, are you deciding on 4 sewing projects?
get too much fabric yarn or supplies here to deal with. Also one a week a month's worth of projects to get me started.
Like for gift bags for holiday gifting.
I have gotten the weeds I took out yesterday loaded and dealt with and most in the trailer, except for a couple of cans I am hoping will fit in this week.
I swept the carport and it is looking better now. I am happy to have the wagons freed up to use for using on other tasks now.
Lunch is in the oven now.
I have football on the team I like is playing, I like it some times other times not so much.
