Re: Sunday in our Village PWYC
Good morning to all
Normal Sunday morning activities are happening here.
TADa's -
** Personal care is done including washing hair.
** Hair has naturally dried outside while I got my first 2 hourly walks. It is now in a messy bun on top of my head. I wear it in this style during the hot weather. I am looking forward to wearing my hair down during the cooler months.
** Kitchen has been opened and AM cards done. Coffee & tea made for the day. Vitamins, electrolytes in drinks, DS15 meds and Micro food preprepared.
** Rabbits checked and taken care of. They are watered, have food and cages moved to fresh grass. I cut about 9' of sweet potato vine for them to eat.
** Kids woke up and are getting ready for church.
While watching a random health videoI was inspired to follow up on a few suggestions mentioned. My sidetracking adventures have led me to research peppermint inhalation. I made a little container to use and am absolutely liking the results. It isn't very pretty or mobile so I went searching for something else to use. I found some refillable Aromatherapy Inhalers Tubes that I have ordered to try.

Re: Sunday in our Village PWYC
Here, dh went to walk with ds and they are having breakfast out. Dh is going to Costco after. I think we are going for an early dinner to dfriends at the river then three of us will go to temple early for the "President's" photo. The service itself isn't until 7:30 tonight but we need to be there at 6:45ish. Tomorrow is Yom Kippur, services all day. I come home in the middle of the day to make a kugel for the break-the-fast.
I'm still feeling out of sorts and not even wanting to be around people. Not sure why I agreed we would go over to river for dinner. They'll have nine with us.
I walked the ddog this morning, just one lap. Dh had walked her earlier too. I am just going to putter about today, as much as possible. I need to figure out what I'm wearing to temple tonight and tomorrow too. I have this big area on my shin that is trying to heal and looks terrible so I'm a little self conscious in a a short skirt, but I don't know if I have pants that fit that would look okay to wear either.

Re: Sunday in our Village PWYC
This time of year I am finding myself wanting to make my home have that cozy feeling. I am slowly moving back into the house after a very busy spring and summer out in the garden. I am ready for that fall home feeling.
I still feel like my home is in chaos mode which means I really have to let go of things that have built up since March. It's all too much.
Next week hopefully my dd younger and d mom, (hopefully my mom gets on the plane), come back home for a month so dd younger can visit and go to the two family weddings. praying mom gets on the plane instead of letting stress hit her.
Hello d twins!!!
Hello d lady!!!
enjoy your card work!
hello d all
routine:
dogs exercise
me exercise
morning routine

Re: Sunday in our Village PWYC
Hi!
I have been busy, busy, busy!! Sweeping and mopping floors with a large amount of bleach. Put away some laundry. Tidied up the laundry "area", which is a laundry basket on top of the dryer which is full of clean towels. One of the cats pees on anything soft under her feet. Usually it's a dark green towel. So I have them in a basket on the dryer to keep them out of reach of that cat. I also cleared off my end of the dresser and put most of it away. Moving clothes yesterday helped get a lot of stuff shifted to where it actually belongs. Dishes are also getting done slowly. It always spurs me on if the dish rack and the dishwasher are both emptied early in the day.
Dh has at least 1 football game to watch for NFL today. Yesterday was CFL and the Toronto team won, so he's happy. The team that is closer to us than Toronto was the losing team, so that really made dh happy.
Meat loaf has been requested, so the ground beef is defrosting. There will be mashed potatoes to go with. Dh likes onion in the meatloaf, so I will saute (I can't get the accent on this keyboard) some at some point this afternoon. If it goes in raw, I don't enjoy it as much. Sauteed is good for both of us.
A second windy/cool day in a row, so nothing is getting burned in the firepit.

Re: Sunday in our Village PWYC
Home from church.
I'm cooking chicken nuggets and waffle fries in the air fryer. They will be added to the selection of several ready-to-eat dishes available.
DH stayed at church to be in a wedding. We just met the groom last week and today he asked DH to be his best man in the wedding. There was a couple dozen family members attending the wedding, but we don't know the relationship dynamics between them. I stayed for a while and helped set up for a meal they were serving after the wedding then I came home.

How kind of you and dh to help with the wedding and stand up for the groom, LadyM.
I've napped and need to get in the shower soon. I'm having a snack right now.

Meatloaf is in the oven. I diced up some potatoes and put them on the stove in some water. Then dh asked for a yam. I don't know if he even saw the potatoes. I told him I would eat all the mashed potatoes. I think he still didn't realize what |I said... oh, well! More for me. I'm not sure what veg I want. Maybe peas, for the colour contrast.
