Kathryn - I am intrigued by your opportunity to live several months at the lake. Whatever you decide to do, it gives lots of possibilities and things to consider.

DSisIL called while I was driving to the gym. She hadn't been able to get hold of DBro for several hours and was concerned about something being wrong. (She had left home at 5:30am and was working AI'ing cattle at a ranch several hours away) I was just a few miles away from DBro home, so it didn't take long for me to arrive. I checked to make sure his daily pickup was in the barn (it was). I know where he keeps the hidden key to his house door but didn't need to use it because the door was unlocked. I walked into their home while calling DBro name several times and was about to become concerned. Then he finally answered me from their bedroom. ***Relief!!!!*** DSisIL had given DBro a muscle relaxer last night and it definitely relaxed him. He was still asleep at 9am which is unheard of for him. He was sleeping so soundly that the phone ringing for hours didn't wake him. Being the kind sister that I am (NOT) you can bet I will be teasing him about this.

My day is going as planned. SUV & garden have been accomplished. Gym exercise time and DS15 music lessons are done. I have everything out of the cabinet and am contemplating how to organize it. I have many plastic tubs that I am considering seeing which ones fit the shelf space the best with the items inside. When we moved here years ago, I found some blue tubs that fit the cabinet height and width almost perfectly. I bought extra of those plastic tubs so they will all match and now I am putting them to use. With the space decision made and tubs in place, I need to go through the 100000000000000 (slight exaggeration) items that I removed from those shelves. I need to check for expiration dates and then group like items together. It sorta feels like playing a real life Tetris game.

wonderful that your energy is fantastic!

hello d twins
I haven't had a Kugel for 40 years. I had a dear work friend who invited us over around the high holidays. Boy she could cook! Have a great evening with temple.

hi d harmony! I am so sorry your chair broke again! oh how nice to go to the beach even with drizzle. lightening nope! good luck on your study

hi d cathy! so happy you went to your knitting group - hope it was fun.

hello d mystery how nice to have a late start have a good day

dd younger gave me a book she loved. I am finding it a bit confusing because it's about women at different times in history: current-landscape architect , World War II and 1907 - I have to listen to the 1907 section again. Just as I get used to the story line of that time then the author switches to a different time again. now it's moved to World War II and a totally different young woman

the next thing on the cards cat litter
dog stuff
dogs
laundry room
learning

My kugel is done and I need to change clothes and head back out. I'm tired. I did kitchen clean up and started the dishwasher, since we won't be eating at home later.

hi d twins!

I played with the dogs again

I am so tempted to do garden work but the dirt is so so wet! it would be a mucky mess this late in the afternoon!

Getting back to the weekly zones has been a bit of a struggle.

There is one thing that is on the Monday card file: the laundry room.
It looks like a big job but maybe my eyes are seeing a mountain rather than an ant hill. I think I will go from right to left.

I received my garlic to plant and flower bulbs. I am waiting for bunny grass I ordered in summer and the tulip bulbs for the parterre garden

I am considering going back to bible study. I have had to give in to it over and over again. Something always comes up - usually caring for others but I am hoping that I can stick to it.

Twins - I hope you get some down time to rest and recover this week.

I am pleased to be done with the cabinet declutter/deep cleaning/organizing. I filled 3 Walmart bags with things being tossed. The cabinet looks so organized now. I might be taking a peek inside a few times to enjoy it.

I need to order a couple things to replace expired (3 years ago!) items. Some things I don't pay much attention to expiration dates, but these are things that make me feel uncomfortable using so I want to start fresh.

We had chicken wings for supper. Five pounds worth. A local chapter of an International group had their monthly wing night. I went and picked them up to bring them home. They had picnic tables set up, but it's really windy and not that warm, so not ideal conditions. I don't think we'll do that again, but now we can say we've tried them.

hello and good evening.
dinner has been eaten and put away
dishes are washing themselves
counters, stove, sink cleaned AGAIN
time to sweep again.
I made a poolish for tomorrow
(I will see if it will take)
recipes pulled for tomorrow: French bread, banana bread for freezer (I have 5 bananas that needs to be used.) I will be making chicken stock like I had planned.
I decided to cook even if dh doesn't eat - he has had trouble with his tooth but to be honest he eats hot dogs, etc. sigh. if I make fish and other people come by, then he will eat that.

I didn't finish my Monday chores but dd younger made up for that as she set up everything for her trip with d mom (mom's place here). I wish she would spend the night here but dd said that with d mom coming in that she would be lost if she didn't have her routine at first.
