hello again
look at you d twins!
yay
d lady - I just remembered that sometimes the library has access to ERIC for peer reviewed studies.
not a bad thing to get her used to a simple calendar or blocks of time. fun with the work. finding the fun with it helps dd but again she still looses focus if it becomes a constant. Always changing things up which I know (I fought routines when I was young and now I totally know why I have to have them). I thought it was boring when young - i didn't see the purpose but boy I do now. . I see the same with my dd younger.

Re: Tuesday PWYC ta da!
Waiting for the main part of the kitchen to dry so I can move stuff and do the last area.
It is cool and wet out after a rain and am changing it up a bit.
I usually put stuff out on the landing in the carport.
Not today.
I am glad to be home today to force myself to finish up on these last two tasks.
Got the mopping done yea! Done with the other one too yea!
I am getting thing together in my head for my Oct. project and so glad I realize how much progress and info. that
I have and can use for it now yea! Journaled ideas and random thoughts, then did up a few lists, remembered I had em in use already,
and my verse of the month will help on the My Prayer Planner revamp. I got the ones yesterday written out in list form on the page
in my half sheet planner helped. ... I need a calendar for the idea to pray on and verse to go with it. Hope I have space enough for it!
These evolved from 3x5 card file system.
Pooferes to look at my old card file.
Scored found a photo of lh dd was looking for one the other day hoping it will work
I took a pic of it and sent it.
That was a fun moment.

RR - I hope you are soon safely home from your travels. You are missed. #JustSayingTheObvious
It is Noon time here and I have finished the 3 declutter/deep clean/organize projects that I planned to do today. Homeschool & exercise are completed. Now I can relax and take a couple of hours downtime. I will have 5 hours of being ON this evening, so I want to start that time feeling fresh.
I called and scheduled an appt for tomorrow with our family doctor to get my gall bladder checked. I have been ignoring it the best I can but sometimes it just wants to be a pain. Thankfully whatever is causing the pain hasn't seized up again into a muscle cramp type pain that can't be ignored. However, whatever it is just insist on being THERE and interferes with my comfort level when I sit and reach.

oh yes - dear rose - you are missed!!!
hi d harmony
hi d lady yay on doing your 3 declutter projects that you planned!
hope your gallbladder is not a problem for long! gall bladders can be uncomfortable and painful.
Best wishes on a good report
hi d Nancy. glad you are home too!
yay on mopping.
I really think I need to journal as I think it will help me with my ping pong brain.
glad you found that photo and was able to share it.
asked dh for help in the kitchen so that I could focus again. It worked! he emptied the dishwasher and rinsed the few dishes that were there.
I had left overs for lunch
I have a poolish, ("a type of pre-ferment traditionally used in the production of French bakery products") waiting; it still has a few more hours to do it's thing.
the downpours we have had has made me happy but also frustrated. I am glad that everything is nice and watered in but now I can't plant seeds and garlic. water is everywhere.
Next laundry room - mmm I think I can ask dh again for help????!!!!

Re: Tuesday PWYC ta da!
Blessed it is good to have dh helps.
LM It is good that you are pushing dd12 to learn to use a calendar it is an important life skill to have.
I think a not rainy day is a better day for mopping just saying.
Processed mail.
Brownies are done baking in the oven I put em in a bundt pan and it is a fun way to do them hope they come out okay
it is more special.
Sausage to cook is in oven now.
My lunch is late today.

Re: Tuesday PWYC ta da!
deleted 1400 emails that I ignored for a long time.
worked in the laundry room - I thought it would take me forever but it didn't! I still have heavy washing of walls to do but not today.
I could take a nap but I need to take the dogs for a run - well they run - I don't
I am going to ask dh for help with the dining room. I am tired though. don't know why.

Re: Tuesday PWYC ta da!
No ta-das yet, but before bedtime, I will have ironed dh's clothes.
My day took a rough turn all around and I'm just aggravated right now.
-- Nothing super-serious -- dh turned (?) his ankle/knee/something, rushing to the door while I was out. It was the plumber who was coming to give me the bill for my dmom's rental house. DH is really really put out with this current method of doing business. Since I live closer to the rental house AND the plumber, and my name is on the checkbook also, dmom has the plumber stop by my house and give me the bill and I write the check whenever he does work. (Which is fairly often, because the renter refuses to use single-ply toilet tissue, so far as I can understand.) In theory, this should work out fine... BUT... plumber might come by early in the morning before we are out of bed... might come by like today, when dh is home alone. DH got tripped up on his too-long sweatpants and never made it to the door -- but he looked out in time to see who it was.
I don't know how to "fix" this problem. I mean, if I KNEW exactly when he was going to do the work, I could call him that afternoon and offer to come pay him immediately. But this last thing was done a couple weeks ago (I think!) and he has just now gotten around to trying to contact us for the bill.
DH just got extremely irritated, thinking every morning we were going to be awakened by him knocking on the door.
So -- saved this as a draft and am now coming back to say I guess I do have a ta-da...
DPC to the plumber, drove out to his house (only about three or four miles at most, and I was glad to get out of the house
)
DPC to college town to check on an order for dgrands
talked to dmom
talked to ds
WTG blessed on deleting all those emails!!!
DH generally takes care of that around here, and occasionally he deletes something I wanted, but usually I'm thankful he does keep up with it.
OTOH, he does insist on keeping as "unread" anything he thinks he might want to look back at, and currently there are 1853 emails in our "new" mail. I should delete 4 of those because they popped up while I was sitting here, and they are just junk mail.
And boy... I could use a brownie about now too, Nancy...
Twins, you were certainly off to a good start this morning! I hope the aches and pains go away soon.
(((LadyM))) for the difficulty in getting dd to use some sort of organization tool. I think y'all have heard me say that ds & ddil "don't know how to use a calendar." I think they do better now, but for a long time, they seemed to rely a LOT on the reminder texts their doctors/etc would send out. That was fine, until they realized they had a conflict, with less than 24 hours to manage it.
I could not get by without my MULTIPLE calendars AND my planner.
(((Mystery))) Hope the crown went on with no problems! I have to go for a cleaning next week, and I am always scared to death the dentist will find something that needs work. I didn't get x-rays last year, so I'll let them do them this year, and that always increases the chances he'll find a problem.
Berenstein Bears! I MUST order some new books for dgd's birthday... she loves the Berenstein Bears.
I can certainly relate to "Too much Yuntif," btw... last week just had me in a whirl... dmom in/out of hospital, dh's cousins visiting... my aunt's birthday party... dgrands here Friday & Saturday & part of Sunday... I was definitely ready for some quiet time by the time I took them home Sunday.
I hope you got to squeeze in the bookstore trip, Cathy. I am reading more on my phone lately, with the e-library books, but I do love to read. I always feel pressured to finish the book in the time they allow (14 days) and I don't feel I read as fast as I used to, but I love to lose myself in a good book.

Re: Tuesday PWYC ta da!
I decided to put the book store off for another day.
I have processed 2 batches of grapes. One batch of grapes makes 2 batches of jelly. As in "Cook 8 cups of grapes. Use 4 cups of juice to make jelly" The 8 cups of grapes makes 8 cups of juice. Maybe more if I let the cheesecloth bag full of grapes drip "over night". I let the first bag drip for 2 hours before I made the first batch of jelly. At that point I had 8 cups of juice and there is more in that bag.
Any way... I have made 1 batch of grape jelly all the way to putting it in the jars and capping the jars. The rest of the juice is going into the fridge until tomorrow morning.
