I ran out of energy. Kitchen and bathroom haven't been swept or mopped. I also wanted to make sure the kitchen was all cleaned up. I didn't dust the living room either.

To be honest, the sun shines into the living room in the morning. I can dust then. The kitchen and bathroom floors will need mopping in the morning any way, so I can put that off as well. As for the kitchen, I might get more done tonight. Dh has been after me to stop and sit and relax.

The day really got away from me. BUT I did clean the patio table earlier.

Later...

Dealt with all of the kitchen clean up other than the last sink full of dishes. Dh came in to have an apple and he seemed to be able to get in the way no matter which part of the kitchen I was in. Then he got all fizzy (or a word that starts with "p" and sounds like fizzy) with me because I was in his way. ... He did the same thing at Costco numerous times today. Every time he stopped, which was frequently, there would be someone trying to get past him. I actually took his hand a couple of times and pulled him out of the way of others. All the clean laundry is away. Fresh towels and facecloths and tea towels are back where they are needed.

We got home about 5:30, dfriends had someone coming to their house around six p.m. for dinner so they were leaving around five. Nice for us, if we stay through dinner with them we're always home later and I get anxious about ddog. We're putting brats on the grill for our supper now. I have walked the dog and we've relaxed since we got home.

I started the dishwasher earlier, before we left.

The river was lovely, actually a little too warm in the sun today but we ate outside. Chili worked out very well, I hate to go there so much without contributing meals. We saw the local riverboard turn around, usually it doesn't come so far down the river.

Tomorrow I only have body work. I loaded glass and corrugated to recycle into my car today so I should drop that off, and also our own dry cleaning. Writing it down now in my planner. Our dinner tomorrow is grilled chicken, baked sweet potato and a green veggie.

Blessed, I am sorry about your DKitty. I watched the video about the wreath. It's quite a bit of work considering they only last a season. Beautiful big fluffy things when done. And that's not even considering the trouble of growing the wheat. I was thinking you would be out there with a hand mill trying to make flour!

I took my friend to church with me. Had a bit of a problem trying to find a close enough parking spot so I dropped her off at the walkway and then went to park. That left her walking in alone down a sidewalk and through a crowded courtyard. I was nervous for her as she'd decided to not bring her rollator today. Thankfully she did ok coming and going. Several of her old friends stopped by to chat with her and one said she was coming with lunch someday, so it was very good for her.

We had a guest speaker, a missionary from a far out country. It was interesting and inspirational and I really enjoyed it.

Came straight home and got the garbage bags ready for tomorrow. Ate lunch and then had a great long nap. Long conversation with DH tonight about the country he once visited with a group which was near the one we heard the speaker talk about. It was a lot of years ago. I pulled out his book of writings from that time and we read it together. Much of it DH didn't remember, it was at least 40 years ago.

It is nice to start a new month, and a new quarter, with all the last months' work all done. Paperwork, at least. Well, the business stuff anyway. I don't have to think about any of that for another 3 months, except for monthly chores along the way. Personal stuff, I have a stuffed inbox, all stuff that's not time sensitive. I should tackle all that.

We have the auction guy coming tomorrow morning. I hope that goes well.
