Is today something else? Maybe serene? or Sunny? (not here) or "The sky won't rain and the sun won't shine," or Schlepping or Sewing?
Or Something else?

Not sunny today so far anyway.
I am up on time working on my plans for the next few days, week, next mo.
took out old pages and put in new ones.
Leaves are so lovely this time of year!
I have made up a month of meal plans, found an old one from summer in my notes and tweaked it. Win win!
Ddoggo is napping.
I slept well. OMM: Need to get the sheets in the wash that I took off the bed yesterday.
Thinking of making pockets up for a bag I want to make up.
Feed dogs too. Bfast next up for me.

Re: Something Else? Sunday PWYC
Dh has gone to the brunch that I don't have to attend. Yippee for Small things, usually he would want me to go. I need to S2S while he's gone and we may go to the art show this afternoon. I think it's there until five p.m.
We've turned cooler and overcast. I sure do we would get some substantial rain. Yes a turn on Desperado lyrics: Sky won't rain and the sun won't shine....

Hi!
My computer decided to play games with me this morning, so I did a system restore and couldn't find my way back in for a bit, but I'm here now! YAY!!
I have a large pot of soup on the stove to use up the rest of the cabbage and some tiny potatoes. As soon as the ground beef defrosts, it will get cooked and added to the soup.
More good news... the pain has receded from the infected burn!

Same kind of weather here, Twins. Brrrr…
Dgs went home with ddil after Sunday school, said his stomach is upset. He has been a little under the weather all weekend. No school till Thursday (fall break.)
Minus piano lessons and adding laundry to my normal Sunday routine. Dgd is here.

Re: Something Else? Sunday PWYC
We are having a cool weather day here. In the 60's during the day and dropping down to high 30's for the next couple of nights. It was a fast change here because just 3 days ago our temperatures were still in the 90's. The cold weather has me wearing winter clothes including a coat. I switched from wearing my hair up to down and flowing free. I got so many compliments this morning on my hair that it became somewhat embarrassing. I can only assume friends are ready to see a hair style other than a ponytail and/or messy bun.
For the first time ever, we didn't have any babies in the nursery at church this morning. One of our babies is currently in hospital with mrsa (scary!). I can only assume with the cold snap & flu/covid/mrsa going around parents are keeping the babies home.
DS15 is being a full-fledged opinionated teenager. Calgon take me away!

Re: Something Else? Sunday PWYC
Dh is watching a football game (NFL) and I went to lay on the bed and read. I ended up under my cozy duvet and I may have fallen asleep.
I cooked the meat and added it to the soup. I tried some broth to see how the flavour was and I can tell I put a bit too much black pepper in there. Dh can't taste it. I use salt free broth, so I added Lean and Perrins and HP sauce for flavour along with the pepper. There was also a few cloves of garlic, but I stirred the broth and removed as much as I could find. Dh keeps going over and stirring. LOL!
We removed both window air conditioners today. Now that we need the heat on, I'm fairly certain the AC can go.

Re: Something Else? Sunday PWYC
We went to the arts festival and saw the people there that we know. Made a few small purchases. It seems so cold out! Only sixty or so, but just feels so cold. I wish we could get our gas fireplace going, it would make it much more cheery and warm in here. I may need to call about it tomorrow.
I walked the dog.
I'm having a hard time planning for the week. I seem to have used the last of my weekly summary pages for my planner and had to improvise. It doesn't feel the same. I'm doing a bit of a kitchen clean up now.
I think the time change is in three weeks. Heads up on this dreary day.

Did some more notes from my workbook this afternoon.
I'm at 90% of my step goal for the day.
Mixed up chicken salad for my dinner.

I have emptied and partially refilled the dishwasher. Now that I have posted that, I need to get up and go finish the job.
Mere moments later... dishwasher is full and I've turned it on again. Second full load today. Plus there were some large bowls that didn't fit. Good news is, I've got a much cleaner kitchen tonight than I did this morning.
