Thursday Thoughts PWYC
What are your thoughts today? Planning and looking forward? Thinking through a quandary? Sorting through something that happened, either recently or a long time ago?

Re: Thursday Thoughts PWYC
Right now I just wish the dog would stop the barking about her walk. Dh has gone on his way after showering at home after his workout. I need to walk her, do a.m. routine, groceries, what else? And I have a workout today too.
Anyway, thinking through the day and next few days. We have company (eeeeek!) coming in on Saturday.

Hi!
I just got back from taking a car full of bazaar stuff back to the craft guild. They meet at 10:30 today, so there will be plenty of women to deal with the stuff. Plus the bazaar is in just over 2 weeks, so now they can get it all priced and sorted out. It is no longer any of my concern. (THAT was a great sentence!!) A weight has been lifted and it feels soooooo good.
I've mopped some floors this morning already. There are dishes in the sink to load into the dishwasher. Pots and pans to be washed and garbage to be dealt with.
Dh has a guy here that he's trying to sell a set of winter tires and rims to. $100 all in and the guy is sitting on the fence about it. I would be throwing the money at the person and telling him to install them now! We usually charge $40 just for the installation...
Time to get to the dishes!

I'm at eye appt with HRH (my appt). Last time they did so many tests they shouldn't have many today. There is a trader Joe's on the way (long trip) and we always say we'll stop, never do. Maybe today.
Then when we get home a last-minute spif for the traveling company and waiting for them to arrive. Friend thought it was important enough to call HRH and tell him that he won't recognize his wife she's had so much work done since he last saw her. But it really is same wife. Okay. I doubt that's what she would have wanted said.
Thinking of Kathryn looking at an extraordinary meeting about now. Prayerfully remembering their church.

Three laps with ddog, one with B oston's owner. B oston is the French bulldog next door with no boundaries.
I'm going to eat and then head to grocery. While out, I need to drop off shred and go through a carwash. Maybe gas up the car?
I've been trying to talk to dh about meals this weekend - we'll be going out on Saturday night and cooking in on Sunday evening.

What are your thoughts today?
Planning and looking forward?
Thinking through a quandary?
Sorting through something that happened,
either recently or a long time ago?
Yes to most of these above! LOL!
Planning today was to get out of bed and deal with kitchen stuff counters needed wiped down and spiffed, fridge still to do.
Quandary / several issues have been discussed here lately on Church stuff and in the news... OMM!
A long time ago a family member was traumatized by the taking away of her baby blanket at age 3-4. I remember that ratty dirty old
warn out thing it was nasty! So many years later still bothers this person that seems unreal to me what the heck?
Then last night a yt post by a pastors wife that was basically a rant ack! Plus I had bs issues so I had to take time to walk around and destress went up and down both sets of steps on my new deck took the ddog out to pee, and did the steps to the basement and walk around down stairs for exercise. That did seem to help. OMG! Last evening I got caught up in a writing project and forgot my meal time Rx dose so was chasing that to get the number down before bed.
My verse of the month helps Ps. 28:7
Good news bs is back close to my target range this morning yea!
This week I got a ring and I'm calling it my victory ring yea me for all I have survived and been through I am still here counting that as a victory!
Yea getting that sweater hand - washing is working yea!
Vinegar rinse 2x 1 c. in a dish pan of water then soaking it & clear water rinse wahoo!
it is drying now.
s2s happened!
Got the inside of the fridge wiped out.

Re: Thursday Thoughts PWYC
mmmm thoughts? I haven't gotten there yet but I will be like pooh bear "think, think, think".
d Nancy hi!
hi d twins hi d harriet hi Cathy, hi d everyone.
mom is up and wants to be at her house to do laundry and clean - she is chipper and busy. I just have to go over there and make sure she has her meds and she eats breakfast. I will make it here.
I have to work here especially in the yard. I will have to get mom by this afternoon as when she is alone for many hours it's not good for her.
I will say it is tiring - getting there at 10, as that is when she usually gets up, and bringing her home at 10. She usually stays awake for a while or falls asleep in her chair then goes to bed. I drive dd and mom back to her place and dd younger walks her upstairs and gives her the night time meds and make sure all is good.
dh drove his car again!!! wooo hoo!
dog gone it. just got a call from dd younger, d brother, d mom. mom isn't sure where her meds are - I am late!!!

Re: Thursday Thoughts PWYC
~~waving Hello to all~~~
I have been doing hourly journaling this morning and observing my thoughts. The saying was part of last night's study at church....
Watch your thoughts, they become your words;
watch your words, they become your actions;
watch your actions, they become your habits;
watch your habits, they become your character;
watch your character, it becomes your destiny.
I don't know how to observe my thoughts without writing them down to capture them. Is there a better or easier way?
This morning I focused on raised bed #1. I harvested 91 poblano peppers (from ONE plant!!) and 10 colossal peppers from another plant. Then I washed all the peppers in a vinegar solution, sliced, chopped, roasted, and froze them. I am almost finished with only 5 of the colossal peppers left to process.

Re: Thursday Thoughts PWYC
Well my day sort of turned around…
It’s laundry day here and I intended to do some work around the house. Sweetie wanted to do some work outside so I decided to join him … we cleaned out my flower barrels and filled them with new dirt. Pulled weeds and trimmed my palm trees and bundled the dead fonds.
Came inside flipped one load of laundry, reloaded the washer, finally made my bed. My footprints were picked up earlier. Eating my lunch now and then I have a few more things I want to do around here

Re: Thursday Thoughts PWYC
Home from grocery and have put away most of groceries. I didn't wash car - ended up in the wrong lane to go there so I just came on home.
I'm dreading doing clean up tomorrow to prep for guests. And there are all day genealogy webinars beginning at 11:30. I'll probably keep them running as I work but won't be able to focus. Right now I need to finish a.m. routine (clear and wipe up kitchen counters.) Soon I need to eat something to hold me through the workout.
I'm debating whether I should go ahead and get pansies and try to get them out before Saturday afternoon company. And on my mind as far as cleaning up are the windows. We had a bird fly into the big breakfast area window this week and left marks. (Was only stunned, flew away after.) And seeing all kinds of things that should be done. And thinking should, who says? The truth is I hate for people to see my house when it's not perfect but I'm the only one who cares, apparently.
