Twins - Thanks for the start today and the reminder.

My day is off to a smooth start. We are thirty minutes away from leaving for small groups and worship service. DH and I are both ready to leave and are using the remaining time to enjoy our breakfast (yogurt & smoothies). I need to get the kids up and start on their day.

Here it's going to be Sunny, then partly cloudy. We may get in the boat ride that didn't happen yesterday - I was ready to nap, dh wanted to watch football and dfriend V was going to temple for a program. I expected dh to go to Costco today but don't think he will, means we need dog food probably tomorrow or next day.

OKay, I'm having breakfast and we're going to the river at one and boat ride is at two. Last fall V had knee surgery and there were no boat rides after mid-October. The colors are near their peak here this weekend.

I'm having my breakfast, still need to walk the dog and do other things.

Hi!

When I woke up this morning it was still dark out, but the clock said 7:30! Yikes. It was also pouring rain.

The rain has since stopped, and it's very grey and cold looking out there.

Supper tonight will be a pork roast and dh wants a yam. I had planned on boiling some potatoes, so now I don't know if I'll just make myself a few or not.

noooo daylight savings time. I took melatonin last night (I never take it) and woke at 7 am then laid there and fell asleep again until 10 am.
I would love to leave daylight savings time just where it is.
I even had a nightmare that someone wanted me to take their newborn to care for and the baby kept peeing through it's cloths (and I was out of diapers) and I was exhausted in the dream I am not sure if Melatonin is something I should take

mom woke up at 10:15 and called myself and dd younger.
I still have to check if she took her meds and ate. I know she was home most of the day yesterday and then dd's took her out to dinner and spend time at her apartment.
dd younger is out with her dog - walking in the woods. we don't have hunting in most areas except on the other side of the river.

dd older has offered to pick up d mom.

Yup… I’m looking forwards to participating in Daylight savings time.

It was an easy Sunday morning for me. Did my routines, two loads of laundry and now need to do a very small grocery run. Had the car washed yesterday and did he trunk or treat even last night. Very disappointed as there were fewer cars decorated… of course I was one… and far fewer kids.

I had 500 pieces of candy and have at least 300+ left. We didn’t have anyone last Halloween so I suspect we won’t have any on Tuesday. Thankfully my neighbors mom is in a nursing home and my neighbor said they will take my candy because what I bought was soft and easy to chew. No chocolate cause I learned last year it melts before the even is over, and I certainly don’t want all that candy hanging around my house with only one place to go… in my mouth

hello dear ones!

I wish I looked forward to changing times. I know when my brother and sis in law milked dairy cows for Dean's they didn't care for the time change as the cows don't know about daylight changing time.
It just meant they had to get up at 4 instead of 5 and call the cows in from the fields at 4 in the afternoon instead of 5 pm.
I still have a wonderful memory of one of the farmers on the hill's cows coming in from the fields. it makes me happy just thinking about it.

pulled things for todays soup.
took ty Lon el for the light headache I had bc a bit of a headache makes me tired.

I have some ideas for dinner this week.

I did not know about the coming time change. Thanks for the reminder. I don't care for the lack of light, when the evenings seem so short. It has already been getting darker earlier in the evenings.

Church today, 2nd service. I have to leave here about 9:15 and pick up DFriend on the way. She is 5 minutes from church and we get there early but the last couple times I've been able to park real close to the walkway for her. That's helpful, otherwise I have to let her off and go park, then go move the car back to get her afterward. She has not been taking her rollator and that worries me, but she does seem to do okay.

I have my usual Sunday things to do. First I want to look at those emails and see if I can make sense of the insurance things we've been receiving. Just when I had that all figured out, another 4 arrived. sigh...
