Last of the children's presents wrapped - HRH had another one so there were three.
Oh, are we having a "things to think about", blessed? Hmmm... ..
Contents of brain :
(this is not a list. If this were a list, I would have been informed through my emergency broadcast system)
By Saturday party:
Bows & Tags!
Finish sunflower hotpad gift for dstepson and dstepdil. Wrap.
One more pickup at printers since he made stickers for me. (tags?)
Hold breath until awaited presents arrive. Wrap.
Plan our outfits for party - be prepared (red for HRH, smile)
Food by Saturday party:
Find out if grocery nearby has fruits for tray.
If not, try to get dd43 to go with me to distant grocery! (Thurs?)
Make beautiful fruit tray! (Friday)
Make a baked dessert (Friday)
Give dd25 kitchen space/time to make a casserole.
Less immediate:
Invite "little" niece and her Dad (for Monday?)
Invite one other child and Mom. (same?)
Possibly alter quilt sleeve to hang on new rack.
Possibly hang textile art at fireplace (hardware lost in shipping!)
HRH needs a plan to visit with his dmother
Actually, it doesn't look so bad in categories.

Re: Sunday Sleigh Ride & Friends Are Calling, "Yoo Hoo!"
Started an odd & ends of scrap yard hot pad.
Had dinner and did up the dishes.
Found a spot for some empty lined journals.
Move some craft paints out of the spare room.
s2slippers has happened.
Saw neighbors getting lites up on both ends of my street.

I'm envious of the progress you are making. I'm dealing one thing at a time (and circling back to things as well.) I feel I'm not making progress but I guess I am. Just not on gift buying.
It was a tiring but decent day although I feel I'm running in place.
Church was 'interesting'. My bit was very well received. Part of that is because All Generations Conversation has been so awful. Partly because a number of adults jumped in and participated, coming up to the front of the church and sitting on the steps as the children would if we had any. Partly because my topic was music and I'm passionate about it. I got a lot of praise after and 3 emails when I got home from part 2 of my day.
The residents' holiday party was a success and we had a blast.
When we got home dh made his dip recipe and will use it to help eat up leftover veggies. I pulled half a casserole out of the freezer and we heated that up for dinner. Then he made his egg rolls tonight. That gets a lot of stuff out of the fridge (woot!) although they be put in the freezer tomorrow which isn't necessarily in any better 'space shape' than the fridge! His recipe says it takes 3 hours from start to finish. Today it was 3:08 so he did very well working on his own. I hope dgs isn't disappointed, he likes to 'help' but then gets bored.
So I have a lot of cleaning up to do now. I was working as much as possible as dh worked but as soon as the oil cools down I'll get the dishwasher started. Which reminds me I have clothes in the washer!
See you all tomorrow!
