Saturday Swish and Swipe Suspicions

dh sat all morning in the front room. I asked if he was okay and he said yes. - Keeping an eye on him.

put groceries away

(I would love to walk outdoors but there is a lot of black ice on the sidewalks)
empty boxes of dog/cat food
spoke to dd older about the upstairs closet and how to approach it.
scones in the oven - smells lovely through out the house.

I am happy that I cooked yesterday - I want to make veggies to go with dinner.

worked in a closet with dd older - she can simplify any project into doable parts that I can follow.
She went through the steps I can do during the week so that next weekend we can wash the walls in there.

dh's room is getting more and more cluttered. It used to be such a pretty room. I will say it's not dirty but full.
I don't care bc I am just happy he is okay. I am staying firm on the his stuff not going beyond the cabinets downstairs, his office or his room.

spoke to dd younger - mom has been very difficult lately.

sweep floors and rinse in the kitchen floor

dd older is meeting her cousins for their monthly gathering. Tonight they are doing a mystery escape room. dd older went to an escape room with people from work and the cousins all thought that would be a great idea. Only 5 of the 13 cousins could go. I love that they still love spending time together. It's even more fun when 3/4 of a room full of tables are filled with the cousins bc the laugh so much that it reminds myself, dh, my sis and brother in laws of when we were the young ones.

I haven't even checked in today. It's been quiet here. We were out last night at dfriends, we'll go to neighbors' later for drinks and conversation after we eat something. Both of us napped.

Trying to plan a bit for next 1.5 weeks. We leave on 3 April and won't be back until 19 April. I think I'm going to try to get a tomato in the ground before we go. If it makes it, great. If not, I'll plant two, instead of one, later.

I'm writing things down furiously but feel like my brain is pinging every minute or two to remember this or that for the trip, or for before the trip, or whatever.

I made 56K step goal for the week, averaging 8K daily.

Both kids are home again and I am trying to resume juggling the many spinning plates.

We all went out to eat and then out for ice cream. It was an enjoyable time as they talked about their experiences.

have been enjoying my planners and wrote some goals in one.
Moved some pages to another and pulled out pages from last yr.
Weeded a bit by the plant cage & moved some pots I cleaned out.
Cooked & ate some veg.
Sun came out after another shower or two so that was nice.
Had dinner.
Need to spiff up the kit. more
swept up some of the dirt I tracked in.

Have dusted in den and swiffered sewing room. Den could use more.

Figured out more sewing.

Dd25 and the young man still not back from their long day. I doubt he'll want to come in and chat if it's much longer.

HRH found us a charming H. G. Wells old movie from the thirties, The Man Who Could Do Miracles. We watched it this evening together.
