My project for today has been accomplished! I am feeling happy about that.

DD13 isn't into her summer groove yet. If left to her own wishes, she would prefer to sleep during the day and stay online during the night. She would also choose to stay lying in her bed for most of the time if it was up to her.

It has always fascinated me that siblings can be so different. The 3 sets of siblings that we have raised have been that way.
** DS51 and DD47 are almost polar opposites in every way. Especially in being responsible vs irresponsible.
** DGS27 and DGS25 are definitely opposite in every way. One has kept a job since he was 17 yrs old and the other rarely has a job.
** DS15 and DD13 have some similar ways but are mostly opposite. DS15 is ALWAYS busy. I would not describe DD13 as lazy, but she hasn't found her passion yet,

I have done a little research in homeschool curriculum for DS15. I have found a couple good possibilities on a Canada website.

DS15 is home from his first day at his new job. He is thrilled with it. He is working mostly by himself in the country. The rancher has all kinds of equipment with attachments that DS15 gets to operate. New boss buys DS15 drinks and feeds him lunch (old job DS15 was sent to get his boss drinks and paid for them himself.) New boss picks DS15 up from our home and brings him back after he gets off work. I was driving DS15 to/from his old job. No drama and $4.00 an hour more than he was making. WIN! WIN! WIN! WiNNER!

Thank you all so much for my well-wishes. I will be the best 68 I can be.

Sitting with the rare curlers in my hair right now because dd44 called and said, among other things, "I don't know how much you've been told". And now I know that supper this evening will make 11 of us with a total of 15 for dessert. So, casually hanging out has changed. I think I'm glad she warned. Anyway, this calls for attention, now, about clothes and hair.

Watering plants has been the order of the day.

HRH ordered in lunch from the place that makes the great single servings of strawberry cake, mostly strawberry.

Recommendation (or not so much) - Btw, in case anyone else got an email telling of ARiver's new association with Grub Hub, HRH checked it out and there is no real savings in his opinion. It's true you wouldn't have to pay delivery, but each individual item is more expensive. He says he would like his money to go to the payment for delivery, which is a tangible benefit and is the work meal delivery companies DO. He orders so rarely, anyhow. I don't even know what company delivered today, or if the restaurant does it themselves.

Got a bloody lip sort of look like I've been in a fight only not bruise nor swelling.
Ddoggo got me with her nail. I bled and then treated it w/ some Neosporin type cream.
A few tears but I am okay.
Tried watching a movie the lawyer Robert Duval is in it has the same thing LH had, turned it off not a good moment sigh.
I am okay now thankfully. Robert Downy Jr. is in it too.

Lovely evening out side here. Wind & Sun. Mon. & Tues. rain here glad I used my new chair today.

I did my best to conquer the dishes after my last post. There were a lot of sharp knives (all rinsed numerous times) and wooden spoons (again all rinsed numerous times) and every pot and pan and pot lid are clean. Other than 2 wire whisks and 2 plastic black spatulas (which I hate with a passion, but dh uses them all the time) and 2 large tongs, everything is clean. (The last 6 things have been rinsed numerous times, but I still want to wash them with hot soapy water again.) Right now my back is very sore.

We discussed washing dishes at knitting today. One lady has been without her dishwasher for a week or so and is getting her youngest daughter to do dishes every third night. Last night she told her daughter that it was her night for the dishes and the daughter whined "I worked all day" and announced that she was going out with a friend for a while. This lady apparently hates seeing dirty dishes anywhere in her house and had a very hard time not doing the dishes. She heard her daughter doing them when she got home and complained to us that the daughter "used far too much water" and "did them the wrong way" amongst other complaints. I actually piped up and told her that her daughter didn't do them the "wrong" way, she just didn't do them the way the mother did them, so to her she was "wasting all that water". End result was they still got done. I kept hearing a little voice in my head that said something about how doing them was still doing them, no matter how they got done. I know there is a "proper" quote regarding that, but I can't remember it at the moment.

Any way... dishes are 99.5% done and I am heading to bed while dh ends his day watching a football game. (CFL, not NFL)
