Wedding Bells Saturday PWYC

Post by Twins' Mom »

Today we celebrate with the Harriet and HRH family and the "young man" and his family! May the day be fair and lovely, and may the bride and groom live happily ever after!

The cyber aunties are all there in spirit, even Dee, who met Harriet's family years ago. We're all over there together on the sidelines if you look quickly, Harriet!

"Nice day for a white wedding" is on the radio right now!

It's a gorgeous day here in the Niagara region.

Here's to an amazing wedding day for Harriet's dd and the young man.

Good Morning!

I am excited for Hariett, DD, family, and friends. I hope every moment of her DD and young man wedding day brings joy and good memories for them to treasure for years.

Assassin Bug. I am sorry you were bitten by one and hope you don't have any lasting effects. They are common around here and considered to be good bugs to have in the garden. I treat them with respect and leave them alone. Similar to paper wasp, spiders, lady bugs, dragon flies and praying mantis. I welcome them all to the garden and leave them alone when I see them because they all eat the "bad" bugs that destroy the garden. In all my years of gardening I don' t remember ever being bit by any of them. Now watch.....after saying that I will probably be bitten today.

It's very clear right now, but will have some clouds moving in. High today to be 87 tho, warm for an outside wedding if Harriet's weather is similar.

We're going to the river today. Just realized I don't have a clean swim suit to wear, haven't done delicates yet from the beach.

I suspect I'll be peopled out this weekend. Dfriends will have another couple there today. Tomorrow we go to a Broadway traveling show here at 1 p.m., then we may go to a temple event that starts at five. I can't remember whether dh is bowling tomorrow night but I think he's off on Sunday evenings for the summer.

We will have our first temperature of the year being over 100F today. I'm not noticing the heat now when I walk outside so maybe I am becoming acclimated to the summer heat. #Hopeful

DS15 isn't working all day today. He has one yard to mow and weed eat (town policeman) but that should only take him an hour or so. That means we have options!

For my adventures so far today...
I hear a humming sound not normal went from room to room upstairs nope not a/c outside
nor the hot water tank, or fridge, so went to the basement and I gasp when I see water by the furnace ack!
Check it out the catch basin was full & plug to power was only half way in I plugged it in. So I mopped up with the dog towels
from yesterday and ran em through again they are hanging on the deck rail to dry. I emptied out the cup that holds the condensation with
a turkey baster I keep down stairs for that and a take out cup. Keeping an eye on this today.

Walked the ddoggo.
Nice weather here today 568 / 86* F.

[My Dgd is getting married this mo. not local & I am not attending.]

Hmmm... it looked like the title disappeared/got changed. I like the wedding bells theme.

I made a good breakfast for DH and myself. Breakfast burritos with tasty egg/cheese/bacon/onion/peppers/tomato filling. There is plenty for the teens to eat but they won't eat it because of the vegetables.

I am watching Season 5 episode 21 of Reba. It is a comedy about WEDDING! Wedding theme for the win today

I’m joining in and echoing all the good wishes for Harriet’s dd, young man and family and friends. Hope y’all have a glorious day inside and out!

It rained most of the morning here. I watched the French open… not very exciting… then did a
30 min step video and a 15 minute light dumb bell workout.

Next up a quick shower and then lunch. I have a few things I want to accomplish around the house and then if it’s not raining may head over to the church for the 4 o’clock service. The Belmont race is today and I already have a left over dinner planned.

Right now the sun is shining, but we are suppose to have showers off and on all day.

Waving to y’all…excited for Harriet’s dd and all family members. My big wedding is in Aug and unless a hurricane comes swirling around n the Gulf I plan to attend

Winning!
Made a tool brush taped on a stick to sweep seeds off gutter covers.
Got the latter out & Mrs. Coach next door [not her real name.] got the small branch off the roof with my tool.
Yea!

I had made a blueberry coffee cake in a foil pie tin took that over for her family as a thank you.

Before that I got some of the rose branches in a can to go out in the trash pick up this month.
A bit at a time doing it yea for projects with progress on Sat.
Had bfast. earlier.
