Yesterday, Nancy and I both concentrated on Round Robins through our rooms. I'll admit, mine still has a ways to go, because ... .. sidetrackable. And also, there's a lot. There's plenty around here that is in flux.

My watering outdoors is caught up briefly. I'll be monitoring, though, because these smaller planters are vulnerable.

The front was in such good shape yesterday, down to sweeping the newly pressure-washed porch even, that I actually took a few photos.

HRH and I have a mid-morning plan of heading out on errands. The tentative plan is
UPS place,
pharmacy,
grocery.
Then scurrying back home before brain scald weather. Yipes.

The rest of the week is filling up a bit.
Tomorrow, I go with dd44 and WonderBoy to drop him at work and choose some library books.
On Friday, HRH has his regular kidney-doctor appt and I'll go along. He's already done the blood work for that without me.

Report from DangerBoy at college is good, with pick-up basketball games with new acquaintances, finding a back way to walk to shopping that avoids the highway. He and a small group tried out their meal cards a day early and they worked.

Report from soccer for WonderBoy is a bit breath-holding as he was moved to "play up" with the year-older high school team. I've watched those guys play and they are fast and furious - very physical. The grandmother instinct is turned up high.

Hi!

Thanks for opening the village Harriet!!

I need to put away clean dishes.

No idea what is for supper tonight. NOT cheeseburgers.

I think about Dee and her family when there is a hockey game in Florida, even though I am certain it was not the team that won last night. I think the team her dd worked for is from Tampa.

It's very muggy here. How did "muggy" become a word to describe weather?

Dh has bloodwork at 9. I don't go with him for that.

Thank you Harriet for getting the village opened up this morning. My to do list is the genealogy institute, ordering groceries (done) and perhaps getting some of those annual flowers in the ground. Here it is nearly July and I'm stalling out because of the heat. Supposed to be 97 here today, humidty is lower than it was before a T storm on Sunday p.m.

I managed to make the appointment for PT a week from tomorrow. They could have gotten me in this week but I'd prefer not to miss any of the institute - I have a Thursday meeting I should get to.

So:
-annuals in ground?
-grocery delivery, put away (can run Zoom downstairs if needed)
-webinar 10:30-5:30 with two 15 min breaks and an hour for lunch, also 1 hr beginning at seven tonight.
-what else can I reasonably do?

Ddog got only one lap this morning with me, her archnemesis, Missy was out. We got in four laps yesterday. Might go again before webinar begins...

Morning girls...

Last night after dinner I sat outside with a cup of coffee on my lanai and watched the thunder storms start to roll in. It was still quite light at 8pm and it reminded me of summer nights growing up. All that was missing were the lighting bugs...a summer favorite of mine.

I didn't sleep very well last night and woke with the start of a migraine. I was able to kill it with strong coffee and OTC meds.

Right now we are in the middle of sun showers...always amazes me to see the sun while it storms. Forecast for today is what is called coastal showers..which translate to.. It will be raining off and on today.

I was able to get alot done yesterday and may start on one of my other closets. I also need to do a short grocery run, but first I want to get some steps in. Gonna climb aboard my gazelle in just a moment.

Waving to yall.. see yall later

CI ~ I've done a round.

Got another can of weeds to fit to go out in the trash pick up this week yea!
Made blueberry coffee cake.
Main bathroom was swept & swiffered & rug shook out.
Out blue jean blanket on deck & red & white striped fabric bag for festive decor.

Happy ddoggo is not sniffing after mice maybe the have been captured by Walt the cat that lived next door.
Kitchen spiff happened too.
I put a 5 gal. bucket in the plant cage, planter in with the donations pile.
Watered out front the grass.
I have meals planned out.

Question: If you had a self care bingo card and list of 30 things for that what would you put on it?
