Lovely to see Bittersweet back here and posting!

It is soggy Saturday here but I don't mind. The rain is keeping the noise from the road quieter and I sat out for a few hours this morning, doing a pedicure.

I've sent off a second newsletter to include the things I forgot in the newsletter sent last night.

I need to run off to Costco now and be back for 4 p.m.

The bbq and games on the patio will be moved into the social room so the rain will only slightly dampen that part of my day.

I have turned on a/c and gotten some vids made up from inspirations and then clean up the items from that project.
Painted over the words on one thing I knew I could do it took quite a bit more coats than I thought but I think I am finally done with them.

I really wanted to get the crochet book & mini skeins of yarn like for granny squares but decided not to as my focus is on other things now,
sort of wish I'd thought of knitting with them might have gotten them sigh oh well. I also wanted the bags that needed the cricket stuff
for labels or I could have painted on them market bags like new but I did not get them. I am not getting the cricket thing. I have enough projects now.
I have enough bags too.

Did some writing trying to reach a page goal today. Oh and I just thought of some thing for the h&f thread. poofers.

Well, I got that lot done, and then got quite sidetracked talking with DS about the camping trip he's going on next week. I'm going to worry every day he's gone, of course, and he'll be over 500km from home (300ish miles), in some rather wild country

DS is loading the donation stuff into the car for me, and I'll drop that off this afternoon, along with returning the library book I haven't finished. Then there's a whole list of stuff to get done:

- transplant sweet peas (there's two or three growing where they shouldn't be)
- deadhead the rest of the peonies
- stop by the produce store to see if they have any apple boxes (the best for holding donation stuff0
- flip laundry again
- vacuum and wash the living room and hall floors

I'm having a slow day. Yesterday was kinda tiring -- late night post Friday night describes our choice on the tombstone, and some concerns for dgd. If y'all have a chance to look at that, I'd welcome any insights re: dgd.
She wanted to go home immediately after we ate breakfast, so I took her home, brought dgs back, napped a good while, and finally just now, had to call him down for excessive noise -- his imaginary ballgames were really getting rowdy. He then went and lay down in my bed and is on his phone now... which I hate that I caused that, but good gracious, he was loud.

He and I have been to Wmart and S*bway, and we're just taking a lazy day, I guess for the rest of the day.
I came to the computer to try to find some info re: a letter I received from the retirement systems, but no answer there, so that will be priority Monday -- Dreaded Phone Call.

I have thought's on Dgd but it touches on some issues for me I will have to think before I respond.
I will use one of members only if I can be objective about it if no you'll know I had zero objectivity! LOL!
Family time is key and we had that robbed by LH in helping with bus ministry.

i boiled some eggs they are cooling.
I need to fix up dinner had to have some carbs low bs.

So not much got accomplished around here this afternoon that is fine as it was my goof off day LOL!
Got a bucket with a slight drive drip drip leak in it today like a snake bucket but it's great for by some seeds I just
put out zenias so I set it up on a bid of a platform and its dripping on some rocks now. I think it had jerky packages in it originally.
