I am home from my periodontist appointment. The result from that appointment is having two periodontal surgeries scheduled for later this month. It isn't going to be pleasant, but it is necessary. Bone grafts, gum grafts, flaps. yuk. >>shudder<< I am going to put those surgeries into a mental compartment and try not to think about them until I must.
Fact - driving is 100% less stressful if you don't have a teenage driver. I found myself enjoying the 3 hours of alone time while driving there/back.
I made breakfast burritos this morning before I left. I added a side of yogurt and a few grapes to DH platter.
I stopped on the way home and picked up 4 sliced pork sandwiches. This restaurant puts so much meat on the sandwiches that it is impossible to pick it up to eat. That worked out well because DS15 requested food delivered to them in the middle of nowhere. I took half the meat off his sandwich and put it on a foot long hoagie bread that I had on hand. That allowed DS15 and his coworker to have a good lunch.
I took half the meat off my sandwich and paired it with some sauteed coleslaw. It was quick, tasty and filled me up. I don't eat bread so someone else can have my bread with the other half of the meat.

Checking in…
Went to class, came home, showered and did my hair. Before that I tried on se wrap of my someday clothes. Not there yet but close. Watched some new because I’m interested in the Supreme Court and the Constitution, not so much the election. I’m a history buff and enjoy what both sides have to say about what’s going on.
Ate lunch, and then took Sweetie to run errands …UPS, Sams, kohls for Amazon returns, Ace Hardware and then my produce store. Up one side of the road and down the other. Lots of in and out of the car.
The clouds are absolutely amazing! Marshmallow huge white clouds worthy of photos. Course there is rain n it’s way.
Came home and did what Twins did…dumped dead things, wiped down all the shelves, cleaned and wash all the fruit and found homes for them and did some rearranging in the fridge
Right now I am sitting in my chair with a heating pad cause my lower back isn’t too happy at the moment. I am also drinking a diet soda…my first since Memorial Day! I earned it

Windy out so not cleaning the plant cage today.
It's windy and kids are doing fireworks here already dang.
I have a kids movie on for noise for the dog ratatouille.
Laundry is in the dryer.
Did a bit with my writing planner.
Watered the back and front beds.
Got the trash can ready to take out in the morning.

Re: Great White Rabbit/Canada Day Monday PWYC
Back home again. I've been a slingshot this afternoon. I barely had time earlier to post after workout before heading out to dinner. We're home now for the evening, thank goodness. My tummy is a little off - think it might have been the fajitas earlier, perhaps in combination with the banana.
I am settling on the couch. Dh is walking ddog and I've fed her. Only thing left is to do a list for tomorrow, and take meds later.

I ALWAYS forget "rabbit rabbit"! I first heard about it in a Trixie Belden book when I was a child, and I don't think I have EVER remembered to do it!
I'm also running late today, and y'all are probably sound asleep and won't even read this, but I thought I'd check in, anyway.
Last night, I never did get the s2bed done, and I never washed the dishes.
OTOH, the carpenter never showed up today, so s2s was not a problem this morning, and I just now washed the dishes. Yes, it is almost 11:30.
Also, today, I made the phone call -- quick and easy response, my insurance is in no situation at all, I was just reading the paper kinda backwards.
I have done all the laundry, just need to fold dgrands' clothes when the dryer stops, and hang my clothes to dry. (And put away the ones that have probably been hanging since last week. That seems to be the routine around here.)
Went out and ate with DS and dgrands.
(Just hamburgers and fries, and frozen custard, which sent me running to the bathroom within 30 minutes.
)
Talked to dmom on the phone. Confirmed plans for doctor's visit tomorrow.
Went to drug store for refill.
Went to the ATM. I don't think I'm spending near as much cash as we did when dh was here.
DS talked to the carpenter, who said he is going to put a pan in the attic to catch water, and see if he can determine more exactly where the water is coming from. This is very discouraging to me, and I'm sure it is to him, too.
Tonight's late night to do list is
[ ] exercise
[ ] put up all those clothes
Hope your tummy is better, Twins. Good for you on getting the flowers planted.
I'll be doing returns tomorrow, Rose... 3 of the 5 items I got DGS for his birthday are too small. I've been watching some of the news, too, and shaking my head at some of the FB friends... Hope your back feels better soon!
And oh my... (((LadyM))) follow Scarlett's motto... don't think about that now... think about it tomorrow... or many tomorrows from now.
I don't know if I posted after dh's improvement, but I am sooo glad to hear that! Definitely agree that home is the best place to recover.
Did you make homemade pizzas to freeze, Nancy? I bet they are delicious!
Bsweet, it is so good to see you back with us! Don't know if I've said that or not. Looks like you've had a busy day.
Hard to imagine needing a jacket. I miss that weather -- dgrands want to go swimming... we're going to a bluegrass festival with DS Friday... no need for a jacket any time around here, and probably won't be till November. * I don't want COLD weather AT ALL... but weather that requires "a light jacket" might be nice. My goodness it was hot yesterday evening, watching those kids on the water slide.
Cathy -- WTG, girl! Sounds like you are really caught up on all the chores. I can't imagine ever being able to say that!
Gotta check out Harriet's post...
