Hi Twins' Mom! Thanks for starting us off today!

Nothing new here. I have dishes piled up in the kitchen because my hips hurt so much yesterday.

Currently making a coffee for dh. I need to go to knitting this morning. A couple of weeks ago three of us were cross stitching and the other 2 that were there were crocheting. Nobody was actually knitting. LOL!!
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Morning girls…

I went to my class this morning and did my routines. We have a fellow coming to measure part of our lanai. We are having hurricane screen installed and they need to measure the area before they make our screens.

Don’t know about the rest of our day… our installer guy is here

Good Morning!

I needed to map out our schedule to be in 3 locations on time for today. Our driving times to/from are more than actual appointments.
10:45 - leave for 2 towns over. 20 minute driving
Drop DS15 off for camp. He will be there an hour early but doesn't mind and will hang out with his girlfriend.
11:15 - leave for city - requires retracing out previous drive plus adding another 30 minutes to it.
Noon - DH appt to get diabetic shoes
Eat lunch
Shop for bathtub faucets and shower head
3pm - DD13 to counselor appt.
4pm - DD13 to her favorite spot to eat (Subway)
5pm - home sweet home
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.

I'm slowly working my way through most my morning routine. I need to be upstairs in maybe twenty minutes to find link for class and sign into Zoom. Dog is walked two laps, I'm finishing breakfast. This week has 30 min breaks twice a day and 90 min at lunch, which isn't until 2 p.m. I organized the freezer and refrigerator outside a bit and took out possibly freezer burned stuffed peppers. Dh also left two chicken breasts in the refrigerator inside when he came from Costco on Friday and I added marinade to them. Will try to grill on either George Forman or outside at a break so they get cooked. :roll:

With classes not ending until 6:30 dh is on his own I'm afraid. I asked him to add what he needed to a grocery list and he's added one item. The refrigerator is empty.

Good morning to Twins, Cathy, Rose & Lady M :)

What's new here is that I found an office chair! Tried a few small office supply stores in different towns & they wanted anywhere from $500 to over $750 for a chair :shock: . No thank you. Went back to S taples & tried several chairs again, this time with a foam back pillow that they also sell. Had them assemble it & when I brought it home the back support was perfect & I didn't even need the pillow. It also has padded arms instead of hard plastic ones so I'm very happy with it. Old chair will be taken to the dump (hopefully) this week.

We're having a cold spell lately -- it has only been in the high 80s instead of the high 90s ;) . Over the winter Dh & I had talked about planting a new tree or two in the backyard this Spring & I'm glad we didn't. We are doing so much extra watering just to keep existing shrubs & plants alive. Errands are early morning whenever possible, & on really hot & sunny days I close blinds & drapes throughout the day to keep the house cool.

Need to clean both bathrooms later this morning & also use S oft S crub on the kitchen sink. Did a lot of food prep yesterday. I usually slice cantalope into wedges but when I was decluttering recently I found my melon baller so used that this time instead. Only sent two balls flying across the counter top ;) .

Thawing pork chops for dinner. Usually only cook two at a time but have started cooking four since the leftover ones are also delicious. I'm out of potatoes so will make stuffing to go with, & we still have a few ears of corn from the farm stand.

~~~Waving to everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day! :)
PS --So nice to have Bittersweet back with us again :D
I'm actually working from home today, so I'll be able to do bits of this and that on my breaks. At the moment, I'm proofreading a manual for our new foster program. When I take a break in half an hour or so, I'm going to go deadhead some daisies.
It sounds like everyone has full days comin up!
Morning
What's new I slept till 6:00 this morning!
Something I have been doing but do not think I've posted about it before.
I get fake sub type sandwiches and put em in the freezer and am thawing em out for lunch
this might work for LM dson that works and packs a lunch with him.
50% humidity when I got up we must have had rain in the night.
36% after our walk.
I did my QT out side the journaling part in the front yard listening to the sprinkler.
Saw a deer on a diff. street today no vit of that one.
Got a doll sized knit blanket done last evening ever the ends are woven in.
Spinning project done ahead of time was going to work on it during the Olympics this week.
Not to worry I have more blue & white to work up just not all the 1 oz. samples in various colors that were so much fun to work with.
I have mini skiens in tons of colors to decide on too.
Did my writing and journals finally yea for that.
Had lunch too.
Break time is over for me now.
I think it's time to take another break. This time I'll go in the back yard for a bit so the ddoggos can come out with me. There's a few gardening things to take care of out there, too:
