Tuesday TA DA tally!
I'm going with a tried and true theme today!
Let's hear what's been accomplished around this village today.

Morning girls…
My afternoon time with my friends at the pool yesterday was a bust! Storms came in 30 minutes after I got there.
After I finish my morning coffee I’m off to the grocery store, but my vacuum and mop first. We’ll see where the day takes me

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
I've walked the dog two laps and have morning routine underway. I talked to dd on the phone for a few minutes until her phone gave up between the tall buildings, I guess. Need to s2s, I think we start at 10:30. The first half hour is usually homework review, but we didn't have any.
Last night while I was on Zoom dh went to dfriends house for drinks and dinner, and brought home Chicken Curry that she made. I had already started heating myself up a hamburger (two patties, one bun) and the curry didn't appeal to me so I went forward with my plan, and the curry went to work for dh's lunch today. I was probably asleep by 9 p.m. last night. I stopped awkwardly yesterday and the muscle/ligament/soft tissue in my right glutes into hamstrings is hurting again, big time.
If you sense that I'm less than enthusiastic this morning, you would be corrrect.

Hi!
I have been putting clean dishes away from the dishrack. Dishwasher emptying is next. Then the dryer.
Pest control is coming today to spray for mosquitoes, so all of the cats are currently inside. The 2 older ones are in the house and Baby cat is in the garage. She meows and runs to the door too much in the morning for her to be in here without driving both of us up the wall. She is certainly full of energy. Having to confine her to the garage is a more peaceful solution.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
Good Morning!
I am in slow motion and less stressful mode. I want to take advantage of this opportunity to switch gears for 4 days this week.
Yesterday with DD13 counselor went well. I am soooooooooo very thankful to have this help in raising DD13. After DD13 spends an hour with her counselor there was a physical and mental change in her. It is hard for me to describe the change in DD13 but I know it happens after her appointment. It is like DD13 is walking on air because she is so unburdened and happy. Her voice changes. I watched DD13 skipping across the parking lot to the vehicle. It is a physical change as well as emotional/mental release. Talk therapy can be powerful.
This morning I mimicked the cleaning game that I made for DD13 bedroom. But this time I made 1 card with 1 task for each of 19 different rooms and closets. I kept each of the tasks super simple. I shuffled the cards and had DH pick a number between 1 and 19. He chose number 12 so I counted the cards until I got to the twelfth card and then turned it over to see what the task was. The task of the day is declutter & deep clearing DH closet floor. Was making a game out of cleaning necessary? Absolutely not. HOWEVER, it feels like fun instead of work. End result - DH wanted to do it. He immediately got started and removed a 50 gallon bag of shoes and coats that he will never wear and another 50 gallon bag of things to throw away. I don't think all these items came from his closet floor but being inspired to declutter other areas also is okay too. Now that his closet floor has minimum items then it will be easy for me to the deep cleaning in it today.

I started a walk with ddog at the break but rain was starting so we headed home. We're supposed to have T-storms/rain this afternoon. Instructor today is so much better, we're on her second session. I've taken courses from her and she's just excellent.

I brought Baby cat into the house. Dh and I went to the landfill. The pest control company came by and sprayed. All 3 cats are sleeping. They can go out when they wake up if they want to.
I've been stitching and reading.
I'm going to order pizza and lasagna for supper from a new-to-us place which is very popular with a lot of the women in the Friday afternoon knitting group.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
I survived the 5 days with dd's kids. Both dh and I agree it went far better than expected. It was dgd5's first successful time away from home. I think it being a 3 hour drive meant she knew she really couldn't go home but there were no tears all weekend and by the third day they forgot to ask to call their mom in the evening.
I got home after supper on Sunday night, unloaded the car, unpacked, and did 3 loads of laundry. Went to bed at 10, woke up Monday morning at 8!
Yesterday I got some vacuuming done, 4 more loads of laundry, my weekly change of bed linens and towels here, and had a nap.
Today I only slept 7.5 hours last night, did the weekly kitchen chores, finished the vacuuming and almost all dusting, and just finished mopping the kitchen floor.
I'm here because my spin mop bucket (by Vileda but looks just like the O Cedar one) has stopped spinning every time I press the foot pedal and the handle now won't stay on. The spinner works sometimes but not every time. I bought it on a recommendation from someone here (I think Harmony) but wondered if anyone else has experienced the same. The fix for the pedal is written up on several websites but I see nothing about fixing the handle or if it is possible.
