Re: Tuesday To Do List PWYC
I'm still hair-on-fire this a.m., wishing I had worked harder/longer last night. Still working on article, and had a moment yesterday - I can't believe I didn't see THAT connection before - and feeling sheepish.
I have body work at 11 today and a workout at two. Still errands to run that didn't happen yesterday, although I did get the HOA check written yesterday and delivered.

Re: Tuesday To Do List PWYC
Hi! Thanks for opening the village today Twins' Mom!
It's bordering on cold here today compared to how hot it's been this summer so far.
I have a very busy day, including banking, phoning to get a water delivery, and I wanted to go to a book store. Dh suddenly needs to get rid of the 6 tires beside the garage. They have been for for a while, but today they have to go to the landfill. They don't stay at the landfill. A tire company picks them up to recycle the rubber.
Dh has also requested shepherd's pie for supper.

Re: Tuesday To Do List PWYC
I have been up a bit woke up on time today.
Got early stuff done.
We have walked it's not really cool out but not hot.
Got trash out to the curb.
Had a bite to eat as well.
Waving, Thought of you on my prayer walk.
Heard sirens from the fire station while on my walk today we have red flag warnings up.
-----
CI / Update;
I read the ballot assignment tor today's task ink in after I did pencil dots & got it fill out, signed.
Checked the date and
TODAY! Is the day so I drove with ddoggo to the closest drop box place.
So I can now say I've voted!
Also on my yt channel will be a vid. short of the wild fire command center in the same location using
our middle school. A lot of the crews have moved to diff. locations but some are here. One year there were tents
and rigs around the whole ball field.

I can't tell you how many times I read that sentence. Just the thought of it brought relief. It's bordering on cold here today
We continue with our triple digit normal temperatures. 106 today 109 tomorrow ..... boring.... Although there is a possibility of dropping into the 90's this weekend for a few hours along with 55% chance of getting 1/2" of rain. That would be a welcome break before returning to the triple digits temps day after day.
My energy level has started to return. This is day #12 of dealing with this rash. 9 of those 12 days have included taking steroids with three more days to go. I am looking forward to this being over with.
One of the overhead doors on the shop won't go down. We have contacted an OH door fella and are on his to-do list to come fix it. Hopefully he will be more responsive than the 3 fellas we have contacted to replace the bathtub/shower. That project is waiting for someone to respond.

Re: Tuesday To Do List PWYC
Good morning. Watch tracked me at 3 hours 20 minutes of sleep, but half and half deep and REM, very little awake, so it helped me. I tried this a.m. to open doors and set up box fan there intelligently through the few hours that were cooler outdoors than indoors. What really helped at that moment was no help at all later, though, and it regained heat again fast.
LadyM, I think the steroids have made me hyper, also ready to overheat, oversweat.
No word from HRH's friend's family - I imagine they were exhausted all morning, no matter what is happening.
HVAC company had an appt opening and sent a two-man team early, who have just finished. With a signed-for 450 later, we are finally cooling down. Very grateful - I would have had to go to some other house - temps not what LadyM's are, but stifling humidity almost 100 percent with rain, too, and .
Knowing I couldn't bear to warm up so much as a surface, I'd had a smoothie for breakfast. Good choice with pills and was cool, anyway.
I've been texting the children so each knows as much as the others. A tricky news day from me - they will all be worried, so they all have to know the same.
5 list next ups is what I'll consider.
Next up put gift into bag.
RSVP "no" by text.
Trash to cans.
Consider weather before doing (lightweight) recyclables, which might blow away!
Mud room clean.

Re: Tuesday To Do List PWYC
I'm going at warp speed and got body work at eleven. I needed it, tuchas is still achy when I sit on it a lot.
I decided to blow off the working out in favor of continuing to work on article. Major plot twist happening, I'm afraid, and I didn't research as thoroughly as I might have on this issue. I had already scheduled a workout for tomorrow to make up for missing Thursday, so I can still get in one this week.
Whew.

Re: Tuesday To Do List PWYC
Watching weather, I worked on my 5 from bottom up. Nothing would be blowing away in the light wind we'll have tonight - too early to worry. So Recycling is all done and away in cans. Also trash. Did a very good job on recycling. I've been feeling we need to do better. Mud room close to nice
for a tired person, along with kitty potty chores.
Yes, it is possible I have a mental block about this shower, isn't it? It's this awful "yes or no" rsvp page, nowhere to say a thing, just that I'm blowing the sweet mother-to-be off and so what. I'll figure it out.

Trash to cans. ☑
Consider weather before doing (lightweight) recyclables ☑
Mud room clean. ☑
Calls from dstepson and dd44 saying we haven't let them know much. Sigh. Honestly, I napped.
Staying on top of odd meds schedule. I need to do the mental math to move the two-a-day closer to the morning and evening of the 3 a day. Have resisted because
and there was another reason but I have J and C

Re: Tuesday To Do List PWYC
4 appointments successfully taken care of today.
I took DD13 to her counselor appointment then went out to eat. We were on a tight schedule because we needed to be back in town to go to school for the open house. We got her class schedule, found the location of each of her classes and met the teachers, got syllabus and supply list. I have a good feeling about this school year. DD13 doesn't have the overwhelming anxiety that she had last year.
I received some unsolicited feedback about wearing a dress today. No one heard each other's comments so they weren't influenced.
DH said "How do you like your new Muumuu?"
I told him "it is not a Muumuu! It is a short sleeve maxi dress with pockets. "
DS16 said "That dress makes you look like one of those nice older ladies"
I wasn't sure how to take that. Was that a complement? Does that mean I am not a nice older lady if I am wearing my typical jeans?
DD13 said "I don't think you should wear that in public. It looks like you are wearing pajamas"
In fairness to the teens, they have grown up with me only wearing jeans 99.999999% of the time. The change was too drastic. Until today a long dress did not fit in with their possibilities of what I would/could/should wear.
