The couch upholstery repair tape is working better than I had hoped. The only problem is I ran out of tape so that is ordered.

Next up - Restock ready-to-eat (RTE) foods
** Make hard boiled eggs
** mix up tuna salad
** Rasty order - 2 fat chef sandwiches, 2 chicken sandwich, bacon wrapped honey bun
** Check how many cheeseburgers are RTE
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.

I made it to my coffee gathering and then headed to Wally World. My incision was itching like crazy because the glue on most bandages…even bandaids…really bother me. So I bought som gauze pads and athletic tape to wrap my leg with.

Bought a bunch of other stuff, came home, unloaded my car, put my grocery away and ate lunch.

Unwrapped my leg, cleaned my incision and rewrapped it. Don’t itch anymore but now my shin is hurting so I took some more Tylenol and put my leg up on the couch.

I bought some bandages that are suppose to be for people with sensitive skin, but won’t try one until the morning. The bandage that was put on after the surgery is called a pressure bandage. I believe its purpose is to put pressure on the incision to keep it from bleeding. That why I used the stretchy tape to wrap my lower leg. I also need to keep Vaseline on it as well. I forgot that the glue on bandages make me itch and should have said something while at the drs office. If I’m not mindful and keep a bandage on, it make my skin red and causes whelps.

I can take a shower in the morning and clean the area with soap and water. Think I’ll let it air dry for awhile before I bandage it again. Icing it last night really helped the pain. I forgot that I had to use ice on my incision when I had surgery on my lower left arm.

Using the ice now while I rest my leg.

LadyM… I remember teenage boys and empty leg syndrome lol. When the boys would spend the night which was during most weekend, I would have them leave their shoes outside the bedroom door so I knew how many were in there. I would multiply the number by six and start making pancakes.

Set my dinningroom table with milk, oj, syrup, powdered sugar, PB, and jelly, and usually made a few more pancakes to spare. I usually had 6 boys and some times more. They slept on bedrolls, in beanbag chairs and in my sons bed with the dog!! Once they all came out I had breakfast ready for them.

I used to tease them about eating my pancakes and they told me the only reason they like to spend the night was because their moms never made them. I also made a huge pan of brownies on Friday night and what wasn’t eaten by the morning were long gone by the end of the next day.

To be honest, I miss those days :D:
