((((RR)))) Rest and recovery sounds like what your body needs.
WhooHOOO! I found someone that we have known for years and that I trust to replace the bathtub. He is doing 2 small jobs in different towns today but will stop by afterwards and look at what we want done. This is a big relief.
The previous fella that wanted to do this job felt off to me, but I was trying to give him a chance. He is new to our area, a felon that served his time in prison, has body & face covered in tattoos and hardware but those things didn't bother me. It was his attitude and not keeping his word that eliminated him. We agreed on a price and time, but he failed to show up.

{LM } Glad you found some one for that tub work.
Btdt with no show handy workers.
Skippable....
I had lunch one of my fav. bean burrito frozen. in a bag LH disliked em and I had three kinds and would do
one ever other day for dinners some weeks I heard about all the processed food - mind you he could get take out and dine
out with me 2x a week and THAT was okay. smh. Any way we pulled back on both of those to ever other week on the dine out,
and I would have the other for my lunches when he was at work. He would eat meat pies with out whining. LOL!
Gotta luv fall foods I would of course mix in other things like meat loaf stuff squash he loved but said he hated squash!
Stews were okay and soups not so much. Life is better when I can cook what I like.
And if I were to have a room mate I"d say cook your own your way me not cooking to please anyone else again ever! ..../
What are you fav. fall meals?
I got the can back from the curb and half full again with the rose branches that were in the can in waiting.
Swept the drive way from the twigs.
Processed the mail.
So I feel like I've done something now.

I have done several quick declutter sessions today. I can do about a dozen declutter decisions then I lose focus and need to take a break. Decision fatigue is real.

Got some stuff done vac. the bedrooms yea!
Did a swish & swipe.
Took up some items for the week from the freezer in the basement while I was down stairs doing a load of laundry.
Mended side pocket of book back simple but not all that easy.
Blessed thinking of you!

Stopping in to wish Nancy a (belated) Happy Birthday.
((Mystery)), so sorry to read about your dmom's passing. Missed seeing you here while you were away.
Glad your jury duty was cancelled, Lucylee.
Favorite Fall Meal is Crockpot Beef Stew.
Off to take a shower before dinner. Poof!

Re: Talk Tuesday PWYC
Dove, good job getting use out of the crockpot. I seldom do any more since we moved to such a small house with limited outlets. We tend to use small appliances less. But yes, isn't it good for making the house smell wonderful in autumn.
Well, my dr's appt did not cancel - also was not painful ((Ramblin')). We waited a long time and then I waited a long time for dr. He listens to my chest and just like everyone else, says that although coughing is impressive,
lungs are clear. He said no reason to x-ray. He is still very convinced the blister pak of azithromycin, which, in theory, continues in the system until the tenth day, is still the whole answer. I certainly hope he is right. I told him that my fear is that, like in 2010 when I progressed from bronchitis to pneumonia while taking an antibiotic, I could start going in and out of symptoms, needing prescriptions again and again. Anyway, we're watching it.
If I was a toddler, I'd say I have the croup. HRH still worried, despite reassurance, and frankly, I'm weary of the work of coughing.
We didn't stop anywhere else for any errand because the roads were full of roadwork and limited access, with school buses out, commuter traffic imminent.
A friend rode up on his four-wheeler as we had just driven into our driveway, so I had the advantage of looking very nice straight from the dr's office to greet him and chat. Left him chatting further with HRH about fixing up cars and insuring, what's worth it, etc. They were happy.
All my "Mud Room Tuesday" chores from recycling to trash-gathering to kitty potty done, and everything to cans for pickup tomorrow.
Minimal gardening, but helpful.
So, I did feel like doing some chores. I do think there is a phenomenon of leaving a doctor's office behind that is good for a person. A bit of a lighter step.
