I checked online on Thurs evening and the Sept issue with my article was up - so I've spent the last two days in a kind of high, drifting around. I had a contact today from a lady in that county who descended from someone possibly related to my Reynolds, so I've been down the rabbit hole with that a little. Yesterday I did some stamping too.

Harriet, I found a package of the cardstock color I thought I needed to order but found another that I'm completely out of - a deep navy blue that I use a lot. And had a package of mixed colors in the "Regals" family so that got me four of each color that I thought I needed there. I can wait a bit and watch my useage of those. There were a couple more I needed, but can wait until 1 Oct to order, I think.

Dh got AAA here today to jump start his convertible in the garage. It wouldn't charge or start when he tried it last weekend. He ran it for awhile inside the garage with one door cracked open (more on that) and the other wide open. The door that was propped open won't open either by raising it manually or via the garage door opener, so he couldn't get the convertible out to run it today. And the garage door repair isn't scheduled until Tuesday a.m.

Tomorrow I need to do some planning for the week and need dh to help me get things down in the garage. The dconvertible (not dear either) is parked where I can't get down the boxes with the seasonal porch pillows or the seasonal autumn decor. I don't want to have plastic bins moving overhead when the dconvertible is sitting there with its pretty little finish and me on a stepstool without much room to maneuver.

Twins — that is so neat — seeing your article published! You go, girl!
IKWYM about the d (not dear) car. My mom has had to deal with that on occasion. And she still has 2 cars that won’t start in her shop. Duncle used to take care of them but his health is such that he hasn’t been up there in a long time.

Rose — I just got ESPN back today!!! Directv has been in a dispute with Disney so the last few weeks have been aggravating, but it came back today. So thanks for thinking of me. Dgs and I are watching. Definitely not going to be an easy game, like some may have expected.
Tomorrow is another day.

Thank you all for the continued prayers.

No updates since this morning but we got a lovely, lovely, thank you email from ddil in response to my note to her about what the money was for (anything she wanted to spend it on, no strings) and update on next week's plans for dgs so she had one less thing to worry about.

Dh dragged me out for a walk hours after my last post. I basically spent the day napping or listening to podcasts with my eyes closed on the porch in the zero gravity chair.

I was really cold all day but no fever at all (it is actually quite warm outside and the cottage is low 70's so not cold). I ached really badly most of the day. I couldn't imagine eating anything so just had a sandwich for dinner. I did clean up the dinner (and all-day dishes) and the dishwasher just stopped so I'll open it up to air dry and then head to bed.

My tummy is really upset at the moment. I'm guessing I'm still sick but honestly it is hard to know what with. No stuffed up nose, no fever, just tired and achy as if I had the flu and my tummy is upset if I eat but fine if I don't. I'd say it was nerves and I will admit to being terrified of having to care for dgs if I'm this wiped, but as Lucylee's signature reminds me, tomorrow is another day, so I'll go to bed and hope for an overnight healing.

LadyM: I'm glad you found an undamaged tub. As you said, that was harder than it should be.
