Did you figure out the window treatment solution in your sleep, LadyM? I'm curious bc I'm intrigued by sleep problem solving. Sometimes, I problem solve in my sleep. Dh does it so much that he keeps a pad of paper and a pen on his bedside table to write down his ideas in the middle of the night.
Yes to solutions happening during the night. I wake up knowing the solution without being aware that I was problem solving while sleeping. I don't understand how it happens, because the solution is one that I hadn't thought of as a possibility when I was consciously trying to solve the problem. The solutions while sleeping gives me confidence that the decision is the right one. I think of these solutions as a gift from God.
DS16 has been a super help today. I asked him to do 4 things for me and he got them all done. I asked DD13 to do 1 thing and she immediately did it. I appreciate their good attitudes.
DS16 has had 4 friends here off/on most of the day. They have been busy doing things and now have started the process to replace the flywheel in one of his pickups. Same oh...same oh. Has any of those teens ever replaced a flywheel? No.....but they have watched youtube videos and have an overabundance of confidence they can do it. DS16 spent his last $82 to purchase the new flywheel and now they dropping the transmission to be able to access it.
hum....I remember the last time they tackled something they knew nothing about. They replaced the rear axle which resulted in the driveshaft falling out while they were going down the road.
Reminding myself of the positives....they are learning....they are making memories....they are having good clean fun...well, not clean fun. They are probably ruining every piece of clothing they have on by getting grease and oil on them. YKWIM
I have made more progress in decluttering 4 room switch project this afternoon. I have consolidated, organized and set up storage for sewing and crafts. This was another solution that came to me during sleep a couple nights ago.
