So glad to hear Kathryn is able to get so much done. Ken is self-sufficient, needle and thread. He must be feeling better, too.
Kathryn, just like we turn the computer off and then on again, sometimes tension can become more agreeable by taking thread away (bobbin and top), hiding it behind your back, and promising the machine it's all gone. Speak to it in a soothing voice. Then turn off. Wait. Tap foot. Turn machine on like it's been a long time. Rethread, rebobbin, and maybe, just maybe ... ..
Social events - lucylee, I shudder to think.
On the one hand, I'm grateful for a nap today that helped me catch up on sleep.
On the other hand, I think that's part of what's messing with my sleeping tonight.
Plus, how discouraging is it that even during the nap I felt I had to sleep with the phone beside me, just in case of a call from dr's office. But nobody called. Ever. So, weekend, here we are. Ordered more OTC meds. Sigh.
Also randomly ordered 2 outlet strip surge protectors with neater, flat plugs. There was a sale. I don't know.
Last time this up-in-the-night stuff happened, I got a whole set of curtains hung. Not quite so ambitious this time, but laundry is happening. Towels so I can abandon it if I choose.
