Oy, weathering Wednesday might have been more appropriate! The top of my left foot is hurting and slip on shoes exacerbate it. Lace up shoes, no. I felt it yesterday a.m. some, not at all during workout, and at home, real pain putting weight on it. Just walked the ddog in light sprinkle and wasn't bad.

I have a haircut at 10 am and PT at two. Groceries will be on my front porch momentarily. I need a quick shower and breakfast before I head out to haircut so I'm on the run this morning.

After shower, I need to eat quickly and head out...

Sorry, Twins, not gonna happen! The most I can hope for is to pile all the papers everywhere and take them with me and then, as I sort them over the next few days create an Off My Mind list.

Today started ok. I woke up at 4:45 and never truly fell back asleep but had an excellent 5.5 hours sleep before that.

Got up at 7 and was out the door at 8, s2s, my clothes packed for the cottage, and feeling competent. Forgot my hat but had a raincoat with a hood which was good because it was a deluge with giant drops.

Walked across to the other building, dropped off the 12 rolls of paper towels (which were thankfully individually wrapped because the outer bag split open in places) and picked up the shopping bag with the rent check.

Was worried the rent check would get ruined in the rain so put it in my zipper pocket and went back to the office.

No rent check. In any of my 10 pockets (of which only 6 were at all accessible and only 2 were easily accessible but both of those were zippered.)

On the way home I misjudged the depth of a puddle and got a soaker. I've been back and forth now, retracing steps to no avail.

I broke down in tears because I'm so frustrated.

Came home, stripped down and shook out my clothes (no check) and then had my tea and chocolate and calmed down a bit. Have told the super at the building where I put the check in my pocket if he finds it to return it to the tenant. Have told the tenant. Have no idea how he'll pay his rent.

It is now 90 minutes after the earliest I could get off and I'm just now calming down but still have to go back out to take the chairs over to the fitness room. At least the rain has let up a bit.

The staff are all on training today so I can't tell the office staff about the check. Will have to email them later.

Still no idea when my meeting is today so have to get off asap so, if it is in the afternoon, I have a chance of attending. I figure I won't get up to the cottage until at least 2 now.

I did my main Anti P. task yesterday Bathe ddoggo looked at weather and wind advisory up today she hates wind.
So she could be outside yesterday. So glad for that progress.
Up in the nite a couple of times ddoggo barked and woke me up woke at 5 this morning.
It's cloudy here today pretty pink sunrise was great to see on them.

I am feeling better this morning less achy glad for that.

Waving to everyone.

Good morning

My day is proceeding smoothly. I got up early and decided to shower before I walked. I prefer to walk at sunrise, so I used that time being productive while waiting for the sun to show up and show off.

My mouth surgery is still a bother. The loose suture threads floating around are a PITA. I only take pain meds when i get to a point of frustration with the discomfort. I know they say to take pain meds regularly before the pain reaches that level, but I don't follow that recommendation very well. I am trying to remember that surgery recovery is a short-term frustration that will result in long term better health.

I am becoming more dependent on using the monthly paper sheet to check off my daily to-do's that I occasionally forget. I keep the number of daily tasks on this list at a minimum. I don't have things on this paper sheet that I never forget to do. Each of the tasks must "earn" its way onto this sheet by being important AND being forgotten or overlooked. Not only is it helpful to make sure things get done, but it is also a motivation to do them so i can mark them off. I don't like to break the chain resulting in a blank square showing that I didn't do a task. When that happens, I find myself evaluating what I can change so it doesn't happen repeatedly. I am looking forward to having a fresh sheet of these daily to-do for October.

Back from haircut, it looks good as always. I just don't take any time to fluff it like she does.

Light rain coming down, continuing through the afternoon. I think we have a break then until mid day tomorrow when we get rain from the hurricane. I'm feeling lazy but I should get myself going.

I still have the DPC from yesterday and that's my anti-procrastination task.

Trainer in charge of workout place (the one I had yesterday) texted last night that he was mistaken, that the gym will remain open but move to another area of the building. Glad to hear that and I hope it works out!

This sure would be a good day for a little nap....

Well I’m sitting here tapping my foot, waiting for the storm to start. Earlier this morning the sky was strange and the air felt charged with energy. The winds were stirring the leaves, but not blowing very strong. If you’ve been through a storm you know the feeling. Right now the sun is out and all is very humid but quiet. I expect that to change by dinner.

I have showered, started my laundry and made cranberry/orange nut cookies. Not much more to do around here as I did a house blessing yesterday

Twins… looks like you could get pounded with rain for the next few days as the hurricane will be sucked up your way. Stay safe

I had no idea how lazy bones I could be - lol my inner stinker says - nope I want to rest, sleep, watch tv, look at how to make thatched roofs and more. Yes there is an instagram on how to do thatched roofs.

I don't want to work - my body is tired ;) okay my anti p list is on one page!

Mom has been struggling with being up at night, waking up confused and most of all wanting to sleep all morning.I think/I hope that dd younger and I may have figured out a system to help her. today I ordered her breakfast to be put outside her door. I went over and woke her up even though she didn't want to - I gave her her meds and she finally woke up. I heated up her breakfast and gave it to her. She did fall asleep with her shirt on which is so unusual! She always wears jammies.

So she showed me around her art, that she loves, in her apartment. Now she is wide awake and I made a list for her to do at her apartment - will she do it - probably not - but she is fed and had her meds.

dd and I think we will start going 15 minutes early for a couple days and then another 15 minutes earlier until we get down to 9 am.

I have to pick up a fb marketplace item I bought for $15 - a really nice bread scale
