I'm especially glad to see Lucylee so early in the day!

Back from haircut. I drove by and figured out where the new gym will be. It's not far from where I went for PT. As I've said, I'll try it for awhile and see how I feel about the location. They do have a big parking lot, which is nice. My hair always looks great - I only have her cut and style these days, no color. And I got a parking ticket! Meter person much have been right there when I got out of the car. My appointment was at 10, I think I was there right at ten, and the ticket time is 10:01. Anyway, it's inexpensive. I usually just pay for the parking...

And I didn't post this earlier...

My running is inside the house. We are both so grateful we don't have to go anywhere today, lol. Tomorrow we'll be excited to see the children come by on their way to fun walks, rides and knocking ~~~ on mysterious doors~~~!

Friday the health insurance guy comes by as it is that time of year. At the same time he is here, dd44 will have her HVAC checkup, and since they always get us mixed up, we expect to see them too, lol.

Lots of cleaning in the kitchen today since yesterday had to be a wash.
Up in the night to clean up after sick Tobias ;) we fed him fish and I know better.
Last evening TaDa was getting the laundry finished, folded, put away.

But after the cleanup at about 2 a.m., I slept like a baby until 8. When I got up, the door to the bedroom was fully open, a sure sign that Tobias had considered waking me and, I guess, given up on me.

Phone call from ds. Heard from his sisters yesterday. HRH has a message to dstepson asking about him, so I expect we'll have a call.

Surprised that the Ipad he ordered yesterday was here by dark. It has been charging. I know he will insist on giving me lessons on it as soon as he's finished checking it out himself. It may not make sense to ya'll, but I hate having to learn a new piece of tech. I never even touch his tablet - bet I've used it twice. But he wants this to be mine as much as his.

blessed
, I just love that poem, thanks. Did you ever know an author?

Aw, shoot. HRH informs me that I'm forgetting his dental appt is tomorrow morning. I had promised to drive (in fact, I had insisted) because it's not just the cleaning but actual dental work and it's possible he won't feel like himself afterward. Now what can I take to work on ... ..

have you ever tried freeze dried/ dehydrated items that seem to be all the rage right now
I used to dehydrate some foods, but I never reached a point of trusting the food wouldn't spoil. I would keep the dehydrated food in the freezer to make sure it was good. Eventually I gave the dehydrator away and just put food directly into the freezer. I am reluctant to do freeze dried even though many say it is the best way to preserve nutrition in food.
Wondering if anyone here has experience with drying food?

I went with DS16 to the tag agency to get the new-to-him pickup title into our name. We also black tagged one of DS16 pickups so we could drop insurance on it (saving $780 a year). The black tag vehicle is not drivable while waiting for DS16 to earn money to repair it.

More progress was made in the kitchen. Baby Belle Mushrooms washed, chopped, weighed, and froze in portion size bags. Salsa is almost finished. I just need to use immersion blender and then put it into mason jars.

We have walked it was brisk.
There is a free chair a recliner at the curb.
I tried it today it fits, but does not swivel I do not really like recliners.
The chair I have needs to be replaced but I have not found one that fits.. . yet.

Thanks Blessed :D:

Well my mouth is finally getting back to normal so here comes the pain. I expected that and took some ibuprofen. Should have taken it sooner.

Fans are done. I asked Sweetie if connecting and installing the fans was something he could have done in the past.. he just laughed at me and said… remember, I am an electrical engineer with many patens to my name..now I’m an electrical engineer with Alzheimer’s! Sad but true, however we both had a laugh at that.

He amazes me at times at what he can and can not accomplish. We’ve had this handyman here several times before. After he left Sweetie told me he asked Tom is he was the same guy because he didn’t recognize him. Turns out Tom had a different style of beard this time and that through Sweetie off.

Tom noticed the big speakers we have in our living room and knew what they were. Sweetie has others in his office that Tom had never seen and they ended up having a long technical conversations about speakers from the past.

Good that Sweetie had someone to talk to about technical topics, RR!

After I got home from hair appt I dilly dallied online awhile and then took a short nap. I hope I can sleep tonight but I was just sooooo cold! The temp was about 70 but cloudy and feels damp to me. The lights on our screened porch had come on again because it was dark. So good day for a little napping.

Confession: I broke into the Halloween candy and have pulled out my favorites from the opened bag.

I went upstairs and finished transcribing another court case, another piece of evidence. My not so dear dog demanded a walk just now, that is done, and I'm circling back to unfinished items earlier. (blush)

Waving to bw2 and Nancy - both you two just stay so busy!

And I can't believe the quantities of food LadyM is dealing with. Those kids eat!

I texted dh asking him to pick up a script at pharmacy for me. Wish I could get them synchronized.

Going to work downstairs a bit, then try to finish upstairs.

mom - why did you toss the grapes?
why is this not done ?
"it smells like".... dh's throwing things down the wrong sink every so often raises it's ugly head unless he is still doing it. it looks like it.

my best one: besides holy cow as I emptied the fridge - "whose shoes are these?!!! - they are huge!!!" - My gym shoes - mom wears a 6 -1/2 I gather she was shocked

I didn't wash the fridge down but got rid of what was needed - hoping to really deep down clean the fridge this weekend. dd younger is going to Ohio on the first with her dog. I always pray for safety.

ahhhh the joy of negative comments when one is working very hard

ordered a dinner for her alone. I know she ate earlier. she had cookies this afternoon and some fruit. I will cook something simple for us. I knew it would be later in the evening for us to have dinner - I didn't want her to wait.

next: sweep/vacuum/rinse kitchen floor.
I also need to wash the sealer.
