I was awake at 7:40 a.m. on my own - there's my first accomplishment! And dh has the garbage out so there's two already! Oooh, and I sent an invoice too!

I have family coming Friday to cook some dinners for the weekend and week (to share). I have groceries coming today.
I do have to pick up a couple bottles of Trimbach riesling - we use it for cooking - especially Alsatian dishes - a good dry white wine. (we also add it to Alsatian noodle dough for Fleischschnacka.

** Did not open social media before getting out of bed. ARGH. I have become addicted to reading and watching social media. I remember the times when watching the news for 30 minutes a night was the "normal". Then the morning shows became a thing. Then news on social media 24/7. ANYway.....I am making an effort to detox from the news addiction.
** Personal AM tasks.
** Walked a mile outside.
** Played in garden. Creating new planter spots. Carrying 50lb blocks from one spot to another.
** Kitchen opened. Coffee and tea made for the day
** DD13 woke up, encouraged and delivered to school.

I have dumped the trash.

Hi! Not much on my schedule for today. I had "clean the bathroom" on there, but I did it yesterday while I was waiting for the pasta to cook. I also did a LOT of dishes yesterday. If I finish them today, that would be nice. I was thinking about going to a mall for seasonal decorating inspiration, but I'm not an "over-decorated" type of person. I don't usually put the tree up until December 1st. Dh likes when I put out the village with the ceramic tree in the middle of it all.

A while ago, I had a plan that on Tuesdays I would have an "inside the house" job day. I keep looking inside cupboards and thinking I should change out the shelf liners that have become either too rumpled or dirty looking. I'm grateful that the outside stuff is mostly done because it's too cold and windy to work outside today. Rain is in the forecast again. It has rained the last 2 nights between supper time and bed time.

Dh is finished in the shower. I'm going in there now.

I am listening to Ray Connif Christmas album that dh and I bought when we were first married (1981) - Our "song" was Counting your blessings from that album. it still gives us joy - it reminds of us of a time we were dreaming about our hopeful future and how many of our dreams did come true and to be grateful. (I know sappy - but it makes me happy ).

** Breakfast cooked and ate. Peppers and onions sauteed then topped with 2 eggs to finish cooking. All of it is wrapped into a Xtreme tortilla that has cranberry sauce spread to add another level of flavor. Sooo tasty and filling.
** Today journal page created in OneNote.
** Daily spreadsheet updated.
** Searched for rabbit. He didn't eat the food I put out yesterday.

Enjoyed that, both the remembering with blessed's words by myself and the video. (Video notes have the author wrong, though - Irving Berlin, definitely.) Might come in handy today.

I'll head over to dd44's at 11 for a little help with my phone during her break. Gathering all the things for trip out, and tablet for HRH.
