Thinking Cap Thursday
Have you made a point to put on your thinking cap lately?
What pondering are you pondering?
What puzzling will lead to something better in your household?
Homemakers are often one step ahead!
Hoping Twins' has an ordinary average boring procedure today.

Hi Harriet! Thank you for starting us off today!
Compost and recycling are at the end of the driveway.
Cats have been in and out and in and out... etc.
We have having shake'n'bake chicken drumsticks for supper along with mashed potatoes and most likely some green beans to add colour.
I have filled the dishwasher.

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
Good Morning!
Harriet - Thank you for the start today. (((Hugs))) and wishes for an easy recovery.
Twins - thinking of you and hoping the experience is behind you.
I am resuming my semi-annual bone density shots today. I had to pause them for 3 months while getting periodontist surgery accomplished. I am curious to observe if resuming these shots will influence and improve a recent change in my right hip. A few times a week I have to pause and let my right hip settle before I can continue to walk. This change in how my hip works started happening a month ago. Is it because I didn't get the Prolia shot on schedule? Who knows? ANYway, I am getting the shots today and hopeful everything will return to normal.

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
Morning girls…
Harriet… hope all is healing well.
Twins.. by the time you read this your procedure should be done. Holding for good results.
Oh my, the other night I fell asleep on top of my electric blanket with an other blanket on top of me. I slept through the night and never had to get up to use the bathroom.
Last night I did the same thing and slept 11 hours without having to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I have no idea why this is happening but my body must really like it. I can’t believe I went 11 hours without getting up to pee! I drank the same amount of water each day so it really is a puzzle to me.
Today is laundry day so Ive changed the sheets on my bed and remade it. Have one load of wash going and two more waiting their turns. I have a prescription to pick up as well.
Yesterday I went through a few of my drawers the hold my seasonal clothes. Now I need to switch things around in my closet. I am also decluttering as I go. I have a bag ready for Goodwill and depending on how my day goes may drop it off there. At some point today I also need to color my hair.
BBL… waving to y’all

Home again. Appointment was 9:30. I was out heading to car by noon. Dh and I had lunch out. Nap time next. Findings were unexceptional. Dog is pleased I’ll be napping.
Will CUOP later.

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
Best wishes to Harriet, Twins, and LadyM on all their medical “fun.”
Rose, I, too find myself able to go a long time without hitting the bathroom if I sleep warm. I also get the reverse: if I’m chilly at night, I can find myself getting up every hour or two.
I am not thinking much so far today, so I came here for an attitude adjustment. When I’m done here, I’ll clean up my lunch, get myself some water, and, I think, dust off my index cards.
If Twins’ colonoscopy counts as anti-procrastination, then I suppose my afternoon yesterday would, too. I spent some time on the phone with the bariatric secretary, who got me set up with intake appointments: I see the internist on Wednesday, the nutritionist (along with an introductory video) on Thursday, and meet the surgeon on Friday. I’ve also got a cardiologist appointment on Wednesday; he’ll be happy to hear I’m starting the process.
Okay, time to do what I said I would, plus grab a fleece vest when I’m upstairs getting my cards.

Re: Thinking Cap Thursday
good afternoon
mom was happy to see me - she didn't eat breakfast - I expected that but I have to give her a chance to care for herself when I know I will be late or the restaurant is busy and can't deliver her food. Gave her meds as well. She is staying home for a bit.
dd is making sour dough with her starter. always delicious!
she can't seem to get pretzels right. I don't know why and she said she doesn't understand either.
I am getting lost a bit - brain is wanting to have cozy time - warm blanket, a good book, fireplace and clean house - lol on the clean house.
welcome home d twins
