Friday Conga Line - Let's go!
The conga line is weaving all around the house today, even as far as the car, running errands, and dancing around the block with the dog. Hear the music in the background?
Are you ready? Let's go!

Re: Friday Conga Line - Let's go!
Hi Twins' Mom! Thank you for starting us off today!
It's very quiet in my house. No music playing. I have decided that this 2 day schedule of daily jobs has been working for me. Dishes on one day, all the garbage going outside on the second day. The house certainly smells better. I just have to get on top of getting the floors swept and washed more often, although things aren't bad right now. Dh will grab the mop and spot mop the bathroom and kitchen if it needs to be done.
I was up way too early again. There was a very large truck backing up somewhere in the neighbourhood and I thought the "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" noise was in our bedroom or on our driveway. It wasn't, but it sounded like it was. It was still dark out when this woke me up.
I have been looking up recipes for Christmas fruitcake cookies on All Recipes, but I don't have any candied pineapple. Darn, I guess I should look for something else.

Re: Friday Conga Line - Let's go!
I need to conga myself into a couple of errands today and some general pupa around the house. Laundry is already going. I was still asleep when dd called already this a.m. We talked last night briefly but she was to call back this a.m. We'll see her soon in NYC.
Dh going to work for awhile but taking the afternoon off. We need a trip to Costco too. I'm going to conga around the block with the dog next. Laundry is going, she is fed, some coffee imbibed.

Just so glad to have colonoscopy over with that I conga-ed around the block twice with the dog and then filled a planter with violas. My energy is better now it's in the past.

Re: Friday Conga Line - Let's go!
I feel great today, actually. One therapist, long ago, suggested I might have some chronic dysthymia - a low level depression, and that when I do feel like I'm having a great, productive day, I'm actually feeling normal. I've commented too that sometimes I wonder if I'm manic depressive when I have a day like this, but when asked by a therapist, I'm not. Anyway, I'd like this to last.
I cha cha cha-ed our blanket into the washer earlier and need to reboot to start the sheets. I was in bed a lot this week (easy place to read with dog, and close to the bathroom) and thought I should probably change out this week. I'm afraid that lot of times I go two weeks when the cleaning lady is here.
Email to doc - I was trying to schedule the pneumonia vaccination at CVS - recommended for those over 65, and their site suggests I need TDAP also. My last tetanus shot was Dec. 2015 (thank you Evernote, for keeping records) so wanted to know if I should (again, we've met our deductible so it might be a good time.)
I've reset my DAR password trying to "purchase" the next DAR genealogy training module. I might as well go ahead and do it and get that bar for my ribbon. I need to finish a.m. routine, then groceries and an Amazon return to take to Staples. Maybe by then my script will be ready at CVS. We had to change to a new CVS location when the one close to us closed; this one is always crazy busy and the parking a nightmare. Perhaps when dh retires and isn't going by it almost daily we'll change to a different one.
Our supper tonight will be a mushroom barley soup.
-finish a.m. routine except for making bed
-reboot laundry to get sheets going
-complete grocery list

Re: Friday Conga Line - Let's go!
dh is still with dd at er - they had a respiratory dr. with him and took a chest and neck x ray. I am hoping they do a nebulizer treatment. dd is going to see if she can bring him home - it's very frustrating - they didn't listen to his lungs - etc. he has just been sitting. When my mom went she needed a iv bag bc her urine was a really dark brown - they said they visually looked at her and thought she didn't look dehydrated - she was exhausted and couldn't move - the reason being is that they were short on iv bags. They used to be a good hospital.
my cooking with my cousin/mom has been put to the side for today.
time to focus in on self care and dishes
dishes in the dw are washing themselves
listening to the book "a dog named Christmas" I hope it ends happy.
saying hello to everyone.

~~~waving Hello to all~~~~
I am taking a slower paced day. I try to do that anytime I receive medical treatment.
DS16 has received 2 unsolicited offers of employment today. This is a big boost to his confidence and feeling of well being. The lost relationship with girlfriend has been difficult for him this week. Work doesn't fix girlfriend problems but it does keep him physically and mentally busy while going through the grief process.
Happening in the kitchen today -
** French Bread Pizza
** Catfish fillets
** Hot Links
** Hoagie cold cut sandwiches.
Re: Friday Conga Line - Let's go!
that is definitely a wonderful boost to his esteem even if he can't feel it now bc of him hurting about his break up.
I am sorry he is hurting.
