Kathryn -- thank you so much for helping get this going again, and it is so good to hear from you!!!
Blessed, oh my... (((BIG HUGS)))... I am so sorry your dmom had to go to the hospital, and you are having to worry about all this.
My dmom gave her nurse a scare this afternoon. Home health nurse took her BP & heart rate and heart rate was in the 30s!!! It immediately came back up to normal, and dmom is having no symptoms of unusual (for her) weakness, etc... but nurse called family doctor, pain clinic, and then called me. She asked me to make appts with the two doctors, and suggested dmom might need to see a cardiologist. I immediately went into panic-mode, thinking, I do NOT need to add a fifth doctor to dmom's regime, you know? Not counting the eye doctor, BTW...
Well... that means tomorrow I take dmom to family doctor, then I go to the dentist... then hopefully fit in a trip to Wmart before church...
Thurs... I take dmom to the pain clinic, that night I go to dgd's first basketball game of the season
Fri... go to Christmas parade w/DS & dgrands, DGD will spend the night
Sat... DGD ballgame, DGS will spend the night
Sun... they both will be with me all day after church and I may have to take them to school Monday morning
I'm really, really feeling overwhelmed right now.
However, I have a LOT of ta-das, actually:
* post office
* hospital, to drop off $ for "Lights of Love" ceremony, where we will light candles in honor of memory of loved ones. This is the 12th, and dgrands and I will go, and ddil, but DS is out of town. We will be lighting a candle for dh.
* drug store first trip, meds not ready EVEN THOUGH I called them before leaving home...
* back home to get truck
* put gas in truck
* take Christmas ornament with dh's picture to ds (it had just arrived in the mail)
* drug store second trip
* auto shop, where very kind owner checked oil and antifreeze, brake fluid, and sprayed WD-40 in truck... which is still not sold to Dcousin, BTW...
* dmom's to deliver rx
* post office to drop off something for dmom
* expensive sandwich shop to reward myself for all of the above, plus writing report for preacher last night and sending teacher group email
* home, returned call to renter, waited for him to come pay rent
* changed sheets
* began laundry, did 3 of 4 loads, * 3rd waiting to be hung to dry, 4th will be done before I sleep... load 5 tomorrow
WHEW.
Before I go to bed, I want to
* reconcile checkbook statement
* finish laundry
* take a shower (will have to start tomorrow earlier than my usual)
* read Bible study lesson for tomorrow
I think I'm going to take some melatonin tonight.

Re: There you have it!!! Ta Da Tuesday!
Just a quick peek in -- DC has an early dentist appointment tomorrow.
Hoping all is well with blessed's and lucylee's moms' tickers.
Impressed with lucylee's ta-da list. Mine is pretty short:
Hopefully I will do better tomorrow with the early start.
Thanks again to Kathryn and Harriet for all the work keeping us going.
OK, I clearly don't know the right way to use the list feature, but I'm not going to go back & try to figure it out.
Sweet dreams, everybody!

Impressed with lucylee's ta-da list. Mine is pretty short:
- take DC to school
put air in tires
try (and fail) to get discounted hotel rooms for our yearly game convention in June
take DD to work
go to the dentist to have a crown reseated
pick up DC from their girlfriend's (near the dentist) and take them back to school
pick DC up from school
Hopefully I will do better tomorrow with the early start.
Thanks again to Kathryn and Harriet for all the work keeping us going.

Re: There you have it!!! Ta Da Tuesday!
Bank statement -- DONE. I'm off $2.48, in MY favor. So I just gave myself that and made a note that it was an unknown error. Last month I was off $2.00 in the bank's favor, so kinda like Seinfeld, it all comes out even! (Almost.) Twins, my dmom, the accountant/banker used to have to help me find the error if I was off a few dollars and dh and I couldn't find it. I would obsess over it. She told me that basically, no one -- very few people anyway -- worried about keeping their checkbook to the absolute penny. So I have finally calmed down a little bit, and fortunately, I am at a point where I'm not racing my check to the bank -- you know what I mean maybe, some of you might be able to relate to that. Back in the day, sometimes we would write a check on the 30th, knowing pay day was coming the 31st, and we'd just pray the check got there first!
I don't think I've ever actually had a check "bounce" but I know there were days we wondered.
I forgot to add exercise into my evening plans and I am REALLY making an effort to do better on that this month. With all the stress dmom may be bringing into my life, plus the emotional rollercoaster I'm on with the ups and downs of grieving and then feeling better and then feeling guilty because I feel better... I figure I need to do all I can to keep myself as physically "normal" as possible. I won't say fit, because I doubt anyone would label me as "fit."
Today I have eaten a pack of peanut butter crackers, a diet coke, a turkey & cheese sandwich (just normal loaf-bread size, but it was bacon-cheese bread from an Amish bakery! mmmm...) a pack of potato chips, a small Pina colada smoothie (no alcohol), a Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut, a few (4?) old fashioned cream drops, 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, and a glass of Milo's sweet tea. (It's a Southern thing, and I hope y'all can get it in your neck of the woods.) I guess I've eaten more than I thought.
Better exercise. However, on the plus side -- I've already passed 6000 steps, which is a lot for me!
