I napped over an hour this afternoon. Dh is exhausted because he had only about 3.5 hours of sleep last night but he's off for a walk now with his friend.

Dinner out was a success but we are stuffed (and have added yet another meal of leftovers to the fridge!) Ds just sent a photo of amazing looking soup and offering me some but I had to refuse because there's no room in my fridge.

I'm off to work on the fridge. If I have a can of cream soup I can use up 1/6th of the turkey and the leftover corn in a casserole. Fingers crossed!

Trash is gathered and ready to be taken to the road in the morning.

I spent some time refilling the snack jars. I try to keep several sorta healthy snacking options available on the counter for the family to grab. Raisins, Trail mix (raisin, nuts, chocolate), multiple kinds of crackers. Finding crackers without seed oil can be a challenge. There are a few options available, but it means reading ingredients to find them.

DD13 is on her phone talking with a friend. There is lots of giggling happening.

DS16 has girlfriend, another friend and his girlfriend here watching Fast and Furious movie. They are loudly yelling when the movie gets exciting.

Did not go to the store after pumpernickel. Will have to do so tomorrow morning -- along with getting the vegetable soup mix for the veggie dip! Apparently I left that off the grocery list. I imagine I'll get my first use out of the hang tag; I suppose the place will be mobbed with people getting ready to entertain.

Got the wash flipped eventually. Have a load of darks in now. I don't think the leggings I want to wear tomorrow are in there; I may have to change my wardrobe plans. Or maybe I wore them briefly last time and have them hanging; I will have to check.

For dinner, DH sliced leftover Christmas turkey and cooked it in its gravy. Yum!

I had left over chicken I"d froze up made in a wrap.
Did up the dishes.
Followed LM out to the carport and got the trash ready to take to the curb.
Got ends woven in on the cape I"m crocheting the edging on.
Put a few more holiday decor items to the the storage room.

We enjoyed our last Christmas evening with dbil, his fiance', and dniece. She is so precious -- DGD just thinks she hung the moon. Dniece is a 30-yr-old pediatrician now, but she is barely over 5' tall, hair in a long ponytail, not much bigger around than DGD. They look so much alike. She always talks to DGD like they are about the same age, and dgd just thinks she is the grandest thing that ever lived.
DGS, unfortunately, left his presents from dniece right there in the living room... shaking my head. I hope they realize HE is the most absent-minded thing that ever lived. Still, embarrassing to leave behind Christmas presents someone brings you. I told DS to message dbil and tell him they'd get it tomorrow.

Anyway -- it was a nice night, and dniece seemed to agree with doctor's treatment of my current problem.

Tomorrow, funeral for dgreat-uncle -- dmom, DS, and I will be going together.
Tomorrow night, we will spend a few hours with family at New Year's Eve gathering.
Wednesday, I may begin taking down Christmas -- OR, I may wait until next Tuesday when I will need busy-work.

I am certainly praying this year does not begin with a health scare for me... praying this biopsy comes back negative, or normal, or whatever, so that no additional treatment is needed.
I am sooo thankful for family doctor who seems to understand and is willing to try something to help me calm down.
I am sooo thankful for YOU ladies who listen with unbelievable patience and help me talk through all this.
Tomorrow is another day.
