It took ages to get the presents wrapped.

The new meds appear to be doing something because I'm not getting worse, but I'm not sure how much better I am. I get things done but not at any speed. I stay focused but it shouldn't take 2 hours to wrap 6 presents even if I have to write up a letter to go with one of them, and print off labels (and relearn how to create the effect I want on the label.) On the other hand, I stuck with the job during that time, and wasn't distracted. So I'm focused but not effective. I need to note that for the doctor.

Dh spent way longer at the library than he planned so he picked me up in the lobby, we drove to dd's to drop off the presents (and other stuff they may need for the trip), took her library books back for her, went to Subway for dinner and then home.

I need to pack and to tidy the kitchen and start the dishwasher. The car won't be nearly charged so it will take longer to get there because our mid-trip stop will be longer. Dh used up 25% of our range today. I should have set the car to 100% yesterday but forgot about errands today. We'll be lucky if we get to 80% before we leave and while that should be more than enough, we'll charge along the way (and then when we arrive before going to our friends because the battery has to be hot to charge so better to charge on arrival.) Yes, I resent all the brain cycles this car demands.

K in C on fb I saw they have a car top camper for plug in cars to camp as you wait to recharge.\
Trimmed my bangs.
I have watched the rest of the series I was into this week.
Washed the bathroom walls. Thought I needed to paint but just washing em was enough.
Ddoggo sleeps in there and it needs that more oftens the other bathroom was not nearly as bad.

The blanket is half done now I think.

This is my 3 a.m. prednisone visit, I guess. I have no idea what I'm doing here.

Kathryn, I'm interested to ask - do you think you took more time with the wrapping chore because of indecision? Did it take longer to make decisions or was it pretty straightforward stuff, just found you moving slowly. I think HRH would say that if I took 2 hours but actually got 6 presents wrapped and finished, that would be reasonable for me. But it would depend on whether I was using ribbon, bows, needed different name tags.

I ask partly because I have a small project of sewing going right now that won't take long, but I can't decide on fabric. I'm wondering if it is really such a puzzle or if I'm sort of compromised by not feeling well, or sleep problems, or what.

lucylee, naps were a necessity here because the previous night's sleep was sporadic. Didn't do me any good on tonight's nighttime sleep, though. Ballgames wear me out, so I'm not surprised you needed a nap.

Nancy, that's great that you won't need to paint after all. Amazing what a good wash can do for walls if the paint is agreeable.
