Baby step progress.
** Set up two XL dog kennels inside the house. We normally don't ever put the dogs in kennels but are limited on how to handle them for the immediate future. The weather is below freezing and will stay that way for the next 3 days so the dogs cannot be outside. Typically, they prefer running free outside in two large dog yards. They sleep inside with DS16 at night.
** DD13 new phone arrived. I'm letting it warm up a bit before setting it up.
** Prepared lunch for DS16 and chatted while he ate. He makes me laugh until my stomach hurts. I know I am biased but he is showing signs of turning into a fine young man.

Cathy, safety and some fun, too. Good deal.

Dove's cocoa sounds ideal. It's ~~~Brrrrrrrr~~~ out there.

Ice here, too. Thankfully, HRH recognized the terrible sound coming from our heat unit outside, said "ice", and went out with a broom handle and knocked a small problem to pieces before it became a very big one. It sounded like a disaster movie sound effect. Whirring along normally now.

We're to have a brief respite from the freezing temps right when we expect a grocery delivery to start out, so I don't feel bad about getting someone on the road for delivery. Through the morning, I wouldn't have believed it, but all the news says it's so.

I've gotten the kitchen back to rights again. That seems to be my limit before needing a sit-down each day.

Dd26 reports that she and dsonil navigated the roads okay this morning, although she says there are crazy drivers out there who don't see the dangers.

I need to help HRH with some laundry. He used too much soap this last time, but no real problems.

LadyM
, wonderful you have these good times with ds16.

I had my juice today forgot yesterday I think was out of the house in the time slot I usually do that.
So glad I did get meat on my way home after church yesterday while they were having a meat sale.

I have left overs for meals today bfast was rather late so will wait on that.
I got some planner pages re purposed for other topics on one side I still need to do the next side before I can use them more effectively.
I do a bullet journal style on them.

taking a break to let my mind settle. I am doing too many things at the same time and having a multi-tasking overload. Currently I am....
** cooking chili
** DS16 homeschool
** baking cornbread
** setting up DD13 new phone.
** watching a episode of Good Wife
** phone call from periodontist for 3 month followup after surgery
** answer DH questions.
** Monitoring dogs. Watching clock to make sure they go outside regularly.
** turn alarm back on to remind me to pick DD13 up from school in 40 minutes
I have reached brain overload and need to clear the deck and start again. One thing at a time.

I am finally home again. Temple took a long time. Admin lady was also dealing with a guy who just showed and wanted to photograph our art glass windows. Not letting strangers in. She was seeking approval from others before doing so. Turns out that bank has to add cemetery account to our panel for her to be able to give me access. So she talked to bank person, who will do so and let admin person know. It's only taken a couple of years to get this far. We also talked about several cemetery issues - not sure who is in charge, a congregant complaining that the pile of dirt in the corner is too close to her dh's grave (it really isn't) and a marker that has sunken that we can't id from photo sent by congregant who complained. (Why? I don't know.) The so called unidentified grave is not our spreadsheet that the chair person says she faithfully updates either. (Chair appearently didn't update it...I know there are issues with it personally.)

Picked up cemetery papers and dropped off check from cemetery account to temple.

Then went by cemetery and looked at grave supposedly too close to dirt and sent photo to office. And found the grave where the marker was obscurred and let office know who it is. (not on spreadsheet.) And got red mud on my boots again. Same boots as last time, when I was at a funeral. We had a lot of rain last night.

Then to bank where I realized I hadn't put the HOA acct no. on the deposit slip. I wasn't going to ask them to look it up since I was in drive through line.

Temp has dropped to 30 degrees and wind is blowing. It's "feels like" 21 degrees. Sure was cold walking around the cemetery!

A funny: I was surprised when I got there that the "Maj Jong" ladies weren't there. It's an mostly elderly group that meets every Monday, most the day. Office admin told me that one of the dhs called to tell wife it was snowing and she needed to come home! LOL, it's been flurries, no accumulation off the mountains except on some rooftops. So all the ladies lit out of there fast!

LOL, LadyM. I think you've gone overboard on multi-tasking!

I need to walk ddog again and need a shower. Shower may go by the wayside. I'm going to be so cold by the time I walk her that I won't want to take anything off. And I certainly won't want to go back out for dinner if I take a shower.

quick wave - big wave to all of you.
I am working on decluttering!! miracles do happen at this time of the year. Mom danced to French cafe songs (her mother and father listened to these) and sang to the dogs. for the rough day we had yesterday - today was a blessing!

Good afternoon/evening! (It's not yet 5 here, but it sure is dim.) We have snow here, but it's not the big snow that folks have to the east and south of here. I don't know if anything's fallen today; it's just cold enough (20s F) that nothing will be melting soon.

Had an appointment with the psychiatrist today. I'm 5 days into my second trial of the Adderall, and the full-body itching has not come back. (The itching on the shins & calves predated it and hasn't gone away.) No psych or BP side effects, either, so I've been given the go-ahead to start 10 mg tomorrow and follow up in 3 weeks.

Spent a good chunk of the day revising the alarm reminders in my phone for the new semester. DC will be having an 8 am class, so I have to get up a bit earlier than I've been used to recently, and they have to get up a LOT earlier. We've got a week to get ready; their classes start on the 14th.
