List 'em right here, let's hear about the victories - large and small - happening today in your life. Celebrating the ta das together and cheering each other on - that's what we're here for!
I believe that tomorrow is Lucylee's biopsy - thinking of her today into tomorrow and wishing her peace and calm moving forward.

"Don't quit
Don't quit when the tide is lowest, for it's just about to turn.
Don't quit over doubts and questions, for there's something you might learn.
Don't quit when the night is darkest, for it's just a while until dawn.
Don't quit when you've run the farthest, for the race is almost done.
Don't quit when the hill is steepest, for your goal is almost nigh.
Don't quit, for you're not a failure, until you fail to try." (Author unknown)
I found this recently going through some papers in my house. I thought it would be good to share it here.

Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
I don't know how I managed, last week, to have such a quiet week. No workouts, nothing else. This week is different - out of the house something or another the next three days. Yesterday two events, and I felt like a ping-pong ball. Today I have therapy appt at one, dh is out tonight tho, so I do get a long block of time.
I feel achy this a.m. - probably from my workout, so need to be moving some today. The brat for supper also didn't agree with me - still tasting it this a.m. Yuck!
I'm dithering over my priorities for today. More after I walk the dog. And typical to form, I'm getting a s-l-o-w start this a.m.
Thank you for sharing Cathy! A good reminder!

Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
Have read the poem several times, Cathy. Deserves embroidering, that one.
Perhaps because I took the heavy-duty nausea med in the early part of the night, I did get a good night's sleep. But I shouldn't have gotten off my schedule in the first place - happened because I had a day that fooled me, and I thought I was already better. Need to go by doctor's mini-timeline and believe it.
Today should be finish-up day for all watering of houseplants. If I can, I'd like to work in the small bathroom. Laundry is important.
According to a long-range forecast I saw, we have one seriously frigid night still awaiting us, then later, one that is not that bad but still worse than we've experienced until now, and then we start slowing coming out of this very cold time.
Today I need to decide if I'm going to an appt on the 16th. Idonwanna. Idonhavta. Idunno.

I'm up before day lite took trash to curb got to see the full moon.
Bright sunny day out now. 29* / 42* F. today's temps.
Shredded a large can full of old paperwork victory yea!
Up on time back on track with qt & a m journaling for the win!
Next I need to do the walk about in the basement and put some things in diff. spots freed up from above mentioned tasks.
I can set out bright paint containers after I move metal bread pans with bits & bobs out of that spot.
One more journal to consider.
Bfast at some point.
Waving to all of you gals have a great one!

Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
I've not been particularly productive because I've been sidetracked.
Was reminded this a.m. that I need to make a hotel reservation for research trip to Richmond VA 31 March - 5 April. So had to do that, had to call the hotel, then email, and also reminded that I needed to make the payment for the rest of the "research trip." I'm paying $350 to be part of a research group with an "expert" who will give us some guidance in VA research. Since I've never been there before I want to maximize my time.
The other part is just dithering. And I'm not even sure I have time to write it down because I need to be in the shower. More later.
Ta das:
-walked dog two laps
-hotel reservation in VA and paid deposit
-looked at my bank account and HOA bank account balances
-got research trip onto Google calendar, also checked re: trip to Louisville 23 to 25 May (Dh is going too)
-looked at registration for conference in Louisville, will do after credit card closes this month, and before 31 January
I still haven't had breakfast either. Gotta go!

Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
I've just posted the minutes from last night's meeting. It took about 90 minutes to pull them together. Not sure if it will take less time in the future. I didn't use the AI generated meeting summary (except I scanned through it to make sure it didn't catch something I missed) but I did copy over the action item list and just delete a couple that were absurdly wrong and added a couple of my own. All-in-all, the AI helper was useful and probably cut 10 minutes off my work.
I hope meetings in the future will take less time.
I've also s2s and baked up croissants from frozen for dh and I. Will have mine now.
This afternoon's goal is to clean the kitchen properly and run a load of laundry. Then run over to the store. I can't believe it but it is snowing one more. This won't accumulate but it feels like the snow is endless these days. (It didn't start until Sunday nights so it isn't endless, just feels that way.)

Re: Ta Da! It's Tuesday PWYC
I saw how I was in a situation where dh was pushing down the water cooler bottle that was frozen - I could hear a crack inside the water cooler and he kept pushing - I wasn't mean but said a few times that it may break the machine - he turned to me and put his hands up and said it's okay - I can see that would irritate someone even if it is a suggestion - one time is enough - it breaks it breaks. learned something for dh/my communication. esp. now. simple and positive communication unless I see something dangerous or hurtful to the house.

Bw2 I remember LH was "cleaning in his mind" off the TV with a too wet cloth had to tell him to stop stop stop!
Ack and he would not! OMG that was so frustrating. I get it.
I was firm but did not seem to help. Nothing fried that day but he got instructions on the way I do that job.
Oh my.
I have emptied out another gasp desk.
So now I have more papers to sort and sheet plus old task stuff.
This will take at least another week I think and maybe the rest of the month.
Any way I need to get dressed.
It's frosty out still so I'm waiting for town.
I knew I had not done that stuff I just could not deal with it before.
So now I can hopefully get through this.
I had a journaling session about it and came up with a plan.
Now to executed the plan. At least I"m not angry about it now.
I'm trying to round up the "keep" stuff to the space I cleared out under the stairs.
Told dson where the farm tractor Manuel was and where I put it.
