Wed. Desk Duty / Complete the Process

Happy Wed. ya-all!
What do you need to do to complete the process?

I'm up in the night.
All the stuff is just running around in my head.
I had to do the next step on the TV set up some app. or some thing so I checked and did it the way they text info.
simple / done! Yea.

Next I need to write some stuff down to complete this process.

Then vacuum the rec. room / x
I took the vac. down stairs in one of my 7 trips to the basement.
Today I will do laundry and see about the changes on the new cable box on that TV.
Started tv down stairs glitched out I think the inner net glitched out.

I like mystery and biography history stuff trying to set up my preferences.
Sigh / had to pause that task.

I have a plan for dinner yea!
Rolls to mix up now that I have flour.
Got new type of socks to try out.

All the stuff is just running around in my head.

I have nights like that, Nancy, but not last night. I got a good night's sleep. That's good because I have a crazy busy day.

Dh will probably want to leave home at 5ish in the morning for a 7 a.m. flight to ATL, and morning flight to Fort Lauderdale. I'm not sure what we're doing going on Thursday when the wedding is Sunday, lol. I can't count on much time in the morning so I need to be nearly ready at bedtime tonight. I have six "go to" errands today:
-two banks
-pick up dress pantsuit for wedding
-buy dog food and chocolate for dog sitter, anything else?
-workout at two
-across town have glasses and sunglasses adjusted

I made a wedding card last night, although I'm not that happy with it. If I get time, I might try again.

Temp is 14, feels like 8, but is getting up to thirty today. The electric company and TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) asked customers to reduce power use through 10 a.m. today so I'm not starting laundry yet and our thermostat is turned down. Schools are closed today too.

I think my plan is to run errands this a.m. except for workout and picking up pansuit. I'm going to s2s late this afternoon or early evening and won't have to in the a.m. before we take off.

There's plenty to do today otherwise, including laundry and packing.

Nancy, I did some desk clean up yesterday where I have papers stacked up in our bedroom. This is primarily HOA which I left, but I did do clean up of the other papers and recycle some. My sentimental soul wants to keep some of the notes from when my father died in 1999 but I'm envisioning my children having to clean stuff out after we're gone.

Been to my class and coffee. Came home and helped Sweetie with some computer stuff.

I am off to work on my office. Gonna take Alexa with me so I can listen to music while I work.

It’s cold here too. 39* this morning and the high will be 54*. The house is 69*’but we still haven’t turned on the heat. I’m comfortable with some extra clothes on. We had rain earlier this morning, but now the sun is out. I love days like this…growing up I loved winter, especially snow. Yes I’m weird

I went back to bed slept till my 8 a. m. alarm went off to take meds,
22* lo. / 38* hi. today. It's 27* now and sunny out.
I'm still in pj pants to remind myself to take it easy after such a big day.
Then changed the laundry over.

Got a couple of desk things taken care of before my nap.
Glad for the journals done.
Glad for the progress on desk stuff before now.

My hip muscle was hurting and is better now so that is good.
Hydration happened.
Thinking of you all.

The house is quiet now I did my music time while I was busy before my nap.
It was 11* in Ark. where my sis is. Br-r.
The vacuum is back upstairs now.

Where is everyone? What a quiet bunch we are, except for me.

Whirlwind round of errands, two banks, glasses adjusted (sunglasses and regular) and picked up dog food and treat for d dog sitter gal.

Moved a load of laundry over and started another - last chance before we leave tomorrow.

I debated about going on downtown to pick up the dress pantsuit while out and decided not to. Traffic can be bad between the mall area and downtown. It's a shorter distance I think to tack it onto my workout trip out but I hate leaving it until the last minute. I hate leaving it to today, even.

I need to regroup - into workout clothes - and eat something. Unfortunately I ate a Krispy Kreme donut while out. But it sure was good. Less than an hour before I'm out the door again.

I was up last night too. same with dd older - she has struggled sleeping the last 3 nights too. I wonder if that is in the air.

HRH had a foot appt this a.m. but I stayed home in the warm. Schools closed today.

His brother called while he was gone so I was here to answer that.

Still not feeling up to par re: antibiotic digestive stuff. HRH brought biscuits home - that was comfort food and tummy calming, maybe. Makes it a little harder to stay low calorie but not that bad.

Nancy, trying to believe our forecast like your sis - single digits when we leave in the morning. Dbil does say he believes the roads will be clear.

blessed, since my labor was 13 hours, it is today that is dd45's bday. I called them last night to say it was snowing and that it had been snowing 45 years ago, as well. Smile.

Have been a Mom for 45 years. How does this happen? I used to carry her, one-handed, in a rectangular garden basket, walking to visit my own Mom because my late dh would have our only car at work.

blessed, these are UFOs I'm considering, so not exactly new projects. As of right now, I have one in parts on the design wall and one laid out on my bed, measuring its pieces to create one last piece to fit in right in the middle.

I surrender lol..went into my office to work and for some reason it was colder than the rest of the house. No way I could concentrate on what needed to be done. Turned on the heat and waiting for the house to
Warm up. Baby it’s cold outside lol

Harriet…when my stomach flairs up the only thing that helps is bread and crackers. Recently I added a bit of milk as well, but bread with no seeds is my first defense. Plain rice helps as well sometimes.

d harriet - what a sweet story for your birthday girl!!! Happy Birthday to your dd45~!!! the years move by fast - what a wonderful memory of carrying your sweet girl in a garden basket - such wonderful moments!

I love the ufo's - the creativity to finish projects is always fun! do you ever watch The last Homely house? enjoy figuring out the middle piece!
I love the feeling of fabric - cutting it and sewing it and figuring out how things go together creatively.

I have to rethink dinner as I had planned on going to the Polish shop but it is slippery.

I have to find a plan of action to work around mom's political comments or views. planning ahead will help me be positive - and kind. pivot time.

lots to do: ROOM BY ROOM FOR ME TODAY. My hope is to be a Rhoomba for put away and little jobs.
