Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
And....Today is 29 January; this Saturday is February first. What did you plan to do this month that hasn't been started yet? Or what did you intend to do this week? Yesterday?
Today is the famous Wednesday Anti-procrastination day; pull out that list and take a look. What have you been putting off this month? or this week? Today's the day to celebrate those tasks and see some progress, or dare I say, completion?

Good morning!
We are having rain for the next 24 hours.
That means DS16 isn't working today.
That means DS16 isn't motivated to get his homeschool assignments done so he can go to work. Other methods & rewards will be used.
That means I have an opportunity to do extra activities with DS16 that have been waiting for a day like today.
But first, I need to make some baby steps happen and get the majority of daily tasks accomplished.

My washer has finally been repaired! Now I have three loads to fold and put away.
One my list:
Walgreens
Grocery
Get my nails done.
First up… finish my daily routines. Most were done before I left for class.

Good morning! I’m currently sitting in the waiting room of the dentist’s office. I’m hoping this is the last appointment DC needs for a while. This is the third? I think? appointment following their last checkup. The last one, the dentist couldn’t do all she wanted because DC had a sensitive spot. So I hope this is it.
When we leave here, we’re going to the pharmacy to pick up my Adderall prescription. I’m hoping I can send DC in for it, because their drive through drawer has been broken, and it’s a grocery store pharmacy, almost as far as it can get from the entrance doors. But I don’t know if I have to pick it up myself, given that it’s a controlled substance.
LadyM, homecoming around here is similar, except that it is in the fall, during football season, and there is typically a homecoming game. (Although not at the girls’ schools my kids went to
.) Although homecoming is a little more casual. It used to be dresses were short for homecoming, long for prom. Now though, a lot of the prom dresses are short, and boy, are they short!
Aside from the tiny dresses, prom is more formal and typically a party center is rented (which means fundraising during the year as well as more expensive tickets).
I am now supposed to expect a phone call from the NP around 1:00. The ultrasound results came in about 6:00 last night. I took a look. As near as I can tell, they didn’t find anything worrying, but I guess the NP will tell me.
Hooray for a working washer, Rose!

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
I am alone in my home, except for the dog, until sometime on Friday. Dh has gone out of town, in fact, he has three out of town trips in the next two weeks. So in theory it's an idea time for some anti procrastination feats.
Dog is walked, I've been playing with some genealogy online.
Almost everything I can think of could be considered antiprocrastination right now. Off the top of my head:
-replace roomba brush thing and run the roomba
-clean my boots - still muddied. At this rate it will be Spring before I get this done.
-upstairs clean up
-email temple admin person re access to cemetery accounts online
-call to schedule mamogram
-call to schedule vet appointment for ddog
-try again to call for deed to the house
-mending: leggings, a turtleneck with loose seam around neck, and sew toggle back on purse/backpack.
-I know there are a lot more
Today is recycle day. I need to pull out some of the accumulated catalogues that we receive (reading material in powder room) and throw them into the bin, which is already at the street.
After that, finish a.m. routine, change roomba brush and get it started, and circle back to quickly finish what I started online in genealogy.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Waving to everyone I enjoyed your posts looking forward to more on your PODA
Thought of a new card just now Wardrobe Wed. / I could use that one!
Writer Wed. happens some times for me.
I have a couple of Anti P. tasks today.
Desk Duty happened yesterday for me it usually do it on Wed. but had other things to pay attn. to today instead.
I just went ahead and did the desk stuff.
Glad I started on the sewing zone last evening and cleared out half of a shelf to put the containers I will be using when I am down stairs
start in on the rounds of it. And as Twins said this will take till spring or some thing till that effect.
Dealing with old journals is O.M.M.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Have been doing tiny little tasks, trying to prioritize those. HRH has gone to his appt. It will be a warmer day here today, but I am not sure how much I can do with it. Still waiting for the HVAC people to come get their space heater. I had canned pears again - don't know why that is one thing that I look forward to. Just very confused taste buds, plus the pears are cooling.
I don't know why lucylee thinks she is not getting things done. Taking others to doctors and funerals is a big effort.
Hoping each one with medical stuff for themselves or others gets better news.
