I am praying or focus and stay stuck in one place - maybe I should tie myself with a string so I can't go beyond the area I am working on. I remember Pam doing that once. I totally get it!

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
I don't want to sound ungrateful, but dh coming to walmart isn't helpful. ~sigh~ BUT we did go to Burger King for lunch, which I promised him a couple of days ago. All groceries are away other than the case of cat food.
It's trying very hard to be January outside. It took 100 days to get here since the last day of December, but it's almost February. January just seems like such a long month when most of it is inside. We can't even walk near the garden. Most days going from the car or truck to inside the house is far enough and it's fairly close to the house. Brr... winter wind just isn't fun.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
This made me smile. I totally get it. I have bracelets that I quickly put on my wrist to remind me that I have left food cooking in the kitchen and/or leaving the water running outside.maybe I should tie myself with a string so I can't go beyond the area I am working on.
One of DS16 adult male mentors volunteered to help him prepare in getting clothes to be dressed up. This mentor is retired military, and he is detailed orientated about having shoes polished, belt exactly right, shirt starched, etc. DS16 respects his opinion and is eager to learn. I am so incredibly grateful for DS16 mentors that are willing to guide him. The mentor and DS16 are clothes shopping now in the city. DS16 just sent me pictures of him wearing a suit jacket they found in a mens store. DS16 thought it cost too much but loved how perfect it fit his body. This is the type of thing that I want to encourage so I approved the purchase.

LM luv what you said about dson16.
Success! YEA!
I took the over-sized TV to the recycle place no on there to help me so I did it.
Grabbed it in the middle like the guy did loading it and surprised that I could do that myself!!!
Put the box in the recycling too.
Ddoggo went with me for that. 1st errand.
Came home and brought ddoggo home.
-----
Then was off to town for 4 more errands.
Yea for those getting done.
Groc. Rx wallet refill and to Joann's for pages to go in my next project one notebook mission.
I got some news journals and a Bible study. Shoes pink in color.
I have been putting stuff away as I unbag it.
Food is 99% put away soda is chilling on the deck now.
Steps are nearly done for the day.
I got a new mop I have to spin it myself LOL!
-----
Next up
Is to get the reusable bags back in the truck and a couple more things in the Trash.x
Yesterday evening I was wondering why my shoulders were sore then I remembered the #10 wt. I did ten reps with on each arm.
Note to self use smaller ones next time.
Walk is done.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Coming back through, still not done with a.m. routine, although I have done a lot of other things, some antiprocrastination and some not. Since the recycle bin wasn't full I broke down a bunch of corrugated boxes in the garage (there since December, most of them) and managed to get them out to the bin. Wasn't on my radar but needed to be done badly. Now I can get to donation things without so much interference. Purged refrigerator except for drawers but didn't wipe out - did that as I pulled out things for my breakfast/brunch. Roomba took a lot longer than I wanted. I got led down the path of taking the bottom plate off and battery out, but didn't need to do for what I was doing. Put it ba
ain. And it started vacuuming but now needs to charge more before agreeing to do anything else. Will resume in 45 min, it promises.
Just in time on recycling, they just rolled by.
I have a Zoom meeting in 15 minutes - need to head upstairs for that. It's much better without the glare of the windows up here.
-------
I never posted this earlier. I've been upstairs. Made phone call about HOA water account - that is a long procrastinated item. I've walked the dog - was going to go two laps but saw a stroller and dog approaching and didn't want to struggle with her. I had a late lunch. When ddog called me downstairs I was entering checks/payments received by HOA in QB.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
CI / LIstened to another one note book session.
Learned a few things.
Made soup had veg. from it as part of my lunch.
Packaged up chicken meat for wraps later that's in the fridge now.
Writing / UPdating my Homemakers Creed mission statement
As I'm in a new season of my life.
This is a work in process. Suggestions welcome!

d cathy it's not being ungrateful - yes it is harder sometimes. One can love and be grateful but sometimes it's harder.
things can take longer and sidetracked.
I am sure he loved going to Burger King.
hope the warm breezes start coming your way - I looked at the calendar and march 9 is time change again. Not too far away anymore!
I think you will be getting our current warmer breezes soon! we had 46 today which is huge and we are supposed to be 50 tomorrow and then it goes back to normal.

Re: Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC
Back downstairs. My computer up there is acting up - the screen has a pinkist cast to it. Sounds like could be hardware and could be software. I'll do some suggested trouble shooting tomorrow I hope, and see if I need to take it in to be checked out.
I ordered myself a small pizza. Dh, tho diabetic, routinely eats pizza out, but we never ever order at home. I do sometimes order when he's away.
Dcleaning lady texted to remind me that we're switching to Thursday a.m. Not sure if I will like it or not, but we're on for tomorrow. i'll have to be up early enough to erase some footprints. I also have a workout tomorrow and need to do a round of errands.
