Anti-Procrastination Wednesday PWYC

Post by Twins' Mom »

Find some pesky things that you've been putting off and do them! In the back of your mind, or at the bottom of a list somewhere, there are tasks that you just haven't gotten around to. Today's the day to knock off a few of those together!

Thinking of Harriet today as she treks to two appointments to map out a plan for treatments that won't knock her out so.

I only have my workout today - changed from tomorrow to today by dtrainer. And dh will be home today, to leave again on Friday for the state bowling tournament.

I took pork chops out of the freezer - will cook either tonight or tomorrow night.

Good morning (just)!

Praying Harriet’s difficult medical day makes things easier in the future.

There is a forecast for freezing rain tonight and black ice tomorrow. I am scared to death. I thought about having DH drive DC to school tomorrow, but then who would bring them home? And how would DD get to work? Walk the 3/4 mile on slippery sidewalks? So I am planning to salt the walk and the path to the car thoroughly and take DC to school via surface streets. The only really scary parts will be actually getting to the car and crossing a bridge near the college. Everything else should be well traveled and well salted, with perhaps the exception of getting from the side street onto the boulevard. Can you hear me trying to get my confidence up?

I should stop worrying and get to work.

Good Morning!

It is cold here too. Not cold as many of you are experiencing, but cold enough that I don't want to spend time outside.

Public school is in progress. Homeschool has finished for the day.

Happening in the kitchen today -
** Potato salad
** liver and onions
** Chicken fried steaks

((((Harriet)))) thinking of you and sending thoughts of healing, comfort, and strength.

I'm thinking of Harriet as well. Hoping your day is easy!

Went to class and then coffee with the girls. Came home and finished up my morning routines. Ate my flaxseed muffin and then cleaned the kitchen. Have some desk work to complete and then need to do a grocery run.

Unlike yall, we are having unusual heatwave for this time of the year...82* for the rest of the week. I'm not ready for it!

We teamed up with DS16 to combine two trailer loads of tree branches into one. Then we picked up extra branches from the yard and piled it on top. DH started to use straps to tie everything down when DS16 jumped up on top of the load (about 8' high) and started jumping up/down to mash all the branches down. I love the abilities of youth! No straps were needed for the 2 mile drive to dump all those branches.

Potato salad is done. DH volunteered to peel the 7 hard boiled eggs which made the assembly of ingredients happen quickly.

Semiyearly checkup appointment with dermatologist is now on the schedule for DH and me.

Sun is lovely today I love remind all of your posts.
I have been out shoveling after the break from the drive way in two rounds. ...
did the last half of the deck and both sections on the deck. It will need more attn.

Happy to have the progress. YEA!
I have as many steps in as if I"d walked they count!

Hydration happening.
Had several neighbors that hat treatments similar to Harriet's and used protein power.
Thinking of you!
