Re: March Forth with Ta Das Tuesday
WOW! So much is happening with SHE friends today.
RR - I absolutely love that you will be mentoring young people again. What a terrific way to share your talents and experience. I sometimes wonder what happened to the young man you mentored in AZ. I suspect he will always remember the things you taught him.
Twins - BWTG on staying up with all the accounts and receiving that last HOA payment.
Nancy - YGG!
Mystery - So many moving parts happening in your life. Does the local restaurant have a specialty that it is known for?
Cathy - Thinking of you and hoping you are feeling better.
Next up - Outside. Inside. Take care of me.
** Plant beets in holes of concrete blocks and along edge of metal cages. Just a few beets planted a day is my plan.
** Look for the Duramax warranty on the injector heads
** 250+ steps. Acknowledging that I want a clean & peaceful surroundings. Staring a a pile of papers next to me.....add the stack of future medical appointment to the calendar so I can throw those papers away.

Re: March Forth with Ta Das Tuesday
LadyM… thx you! funny you should mention my young man. He just sent me a professional photo and announce that he is now” Logan City’s First and Newest Emergency Manager”. I am more than proud of him. This was a kid who came to me in7th grade a couldn’t write a sentence. He like all my kids was smart but had been told by the world, teachers included, he was dumb. I just had to make him believe those people were all wrong.
I have at least 6 students that stay in touch with me who are also leading amazing lives along with their families.
A famous artist, a tattoo artist/barber… who’s wife is a hair stylist and they own their own salon, another famous cartoon artist and voice over actress in Hollywood, my autist friend who became a teacher and now does case working for a company, one who is a plant manager and another who works as an aero mechanic. One is a ski instructor in CO, all who were in my Sped Ed classes.
Like Lucylee… I got to touch the future cause I taught.

I'll need to circle back for oral care after my lunch and before I leave for dentist, so I didn't do all earlier.

Re: March Forth with Ta Das Tuesday
Exciting things happening in the village today! I love it that RR will be coaching, and Mystery is starting back with her part-time technical writing.
I don't think Cathy has checked in? Echoing LadyM in wellness wishes.
And Nancy has joined the "Threes" game with us. Lots of ta das and well accomplishments happening right now.
Good for you LadyM in coming to a decision (with input) on whatever troubles dd. Hope her resistance is short-lived.
Three things when I'm done here:
oral care
rings earrings done soaking and back on
kitchen island clean up
Need to leave in a little less than 30 min.

Those done.
I love reading about all the accomplishments and successes.
I'm going to take DH to the city to sign a paper at the financial advisor office. DH thought he could do it by himself, but I had to intercede...gently. DH can do 95% of his normal doings but he has lost some memory that hasn't returned. This morning he volunteered to help me cook. I handed an apple to DH and asked him to core and slice it. I continued with what I was doing and then noticed that DH was staring at the apple. I asked if the apple was okay and DH said "I don't remember how to core and slice an apple". I showed him the steps and he finished doing it. If it follows past things, DH will remember how to core & slice an apple again. But he has to relearn random things that were zapped by memory loss. IMHO, DH isn't ready to go off to the city on his own. We have no idea of all the things that he has lost memory to do until he tries to do them.

Re: March Forth with Ta Das Tuesday
sounds like a plan, LM.
I'm home again - went to Whole Foods after for flowers and got some asparagus for our supper too. I was disappointed in their flowers. The WF that's near me, with the terrible, crowded parking lot, has beautiful flowers and a big floral department, this one was not as well stocked as a grocery store even. The dog and I went into the back yard for a few minutes when I got home, she got a bit of a run in with one of the Frenchies.
I'm going to disappear upstairs for awhile. I'd like to push her walk back a bit, given that the time changes and her inner clock doesn't.
Good report at dentist, don't need to go back until the next cleaning in six months.

Re: March Forth with Ta Das Tuesday
We have wide spread loss of electricity and no internet. Our electric company estimates 6 hours to restore power. I am thankful once again for the whole house generator.
I suspect the wild winds are responsible for losing electricity. I dont know how the electric linemen can possible work on lines bouncing around in this kind of wind.
Harriet - i hope ur medical appt and travel went okay today

Re: March Forth with Ta Das Tuesday
I've had a good day. Upstairs I did a little research, wrote a few citations. Walked the dog and stopped to take a photo of some blooming daffodils, lol, she had to get her face into the photo.
Our supper is meatloaf, baked sweet potato and asparagus.
Storms overnight - perhaps started around 10 p.m.?

Besides the wind howling there is lots of interactions going on here. No drama but just exhausting to be ON continually.
I think I am done for the day. I am going to look for a movie to watch and try to zone out until bedtime.
