Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
Yes, thank you Nancy. Kind of you to remember it to me.
Chatting with HRH over our very different brunches, we came to the conclusion that other new side effects happening at the same time as weakness of leg is hard to assume is nothing but coincidence, so maybe these will run a course similarly. We can hope. i went ahead and took an excedrin because under other circumstances I would have, at any other time in my life. That is a little "iffy" though, so I only took one, a half-dose. The med pros tell me they like tylenol only. (excedrin is half aspirin, half tylenol) Maybe in H and F I'll be braver to chat more about where derriere-hip discomfort is, exactly, lol. How fascinating.
Worked on clearing and cleaning in the kitchen. Swish and swipe, cha cha cha.
Some next ups:
enough Desk Day to send thank you note, maybe a little more
laundry continues, cha cha cha, and some put-away after drip-dry
meal planning

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
bw2, sounds encouraging about dh coming home and good you saw him early. Hope the talk helps.
Harriet, so sorry about discomfort. My hip is nearly whole today, just a little residual soreness going. Would some of that Icy/Hot stuff help? They make a stick on pad in addition to the roll on.
Cha Cha Cha back atcha, Nancy!
I don't know how productive I will be with dh retired and home. Perhaps there won't be so many topics to cover then but he's been talking nonstop and focus is almost impossible. I did get those three things done. Also called re repair person, and I am next in the queue. Dh pointed out that icemaker has made three craft ice cubes since last night: Surprise! We decided best to keep service call open. (He also says he pressed a button last night and maybe that is why it's making ice now, so I need to look up that button to see what it did.
Dh will be leaving to go to temple and help cook in another 30 min. I hope I can hold on until then without my head exploding.

With trepidation, going to try for three more things.
-upstairs, see if I can make a quick anniversary card (gets me away from dh for few moments)
-do a couple of HOA checks
-try to finish the email re HOA water and send
I was able to get the cemetery check to the post lady as she came back up the other side of the street.

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
We have walked and have 3/4 of our steps in for today.
So glad for a cool yet calm day.
For your reading pleasure my out fit for walking today consisted of...
pink hoodie with a sip in front. Purple sweat pants I've cut the cuff off of and hemmed.
A grey tee-shirt. [Forgot my visor.]
LM I have a reflective vest for pre dawn and post dusks walks.
Lunch might consist of a boiled egg & v-8 unless I come up with something different.
Nope had mini muffin cream cheese & summer sausages slices.
Left over soup can be a snack. Sipping more coffee as it was a bit nippy out we had frost over nite.
Got my steps in.

Still upstairs hiding, dh on the phone downstairs now! Repurposed a card with Congratulations, and sent the email. I'll have to do the HOA check (if indeed I get it done) from downstairs. And need to be at body work in less than an hour, too, so need snack/lunch.

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
I am on cloud 9. Trip to get garden plants was a success!
I have all the vegetables and flowers for 2025 garden. I brought home 115 plants that will receive daily care for the next 9 months. I am looking forward to developing a relationship with each one of them.
The only plant I was looking for and didn't find was Tam Jalapeno. I will continue to look for that one whenever I see plants being sold. I have two other types of hot peppers, so it isn't a big deal if I don't find the tame variety. It is just my personal favorite.
I spent $66 on plants today. That is almost double what I normally spend each year. I had to remind myself not to pay attention to the initial cost. The return received from the plants more than pays for them. I eat fresh organic vegetables from the garden almost every day (today i had freshly picked mustard greens and garlic tops) But most important to me is the joy I receive from being in the garden. It is my happy place.

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
Hi girls… waving to y’all!
Busy day here. Went to class and then to my gf’s home. She had given herself a home hair cut and the back was uneven. Offered to trim her hair and she looks marvelous! I requested payment of a cup of coffee and the we sat outside in her lanai and chi chatted for a while.
Came home and at lunch and the left to attend a fashion show at the clubhouse. Cute clothes but way over priced… not for me. Squorts were $75!
The event was scheduled for 1-3 but once I got there it was announced the show would start at 2. Too much waste of my time so I came home and started on my laundry.
In awhile we are headed to Home Depot and later to our favorite hamberger place. I can eat bunless Hamburger there plus diet/no caffeine soda there.
Tomorrow is dirt day and I get to plant. Looking forward to that

Re: Friday Conga Line PWYC
bw2, it was a myofascial massage, not a class, but I had to cancel.
Tech got here too late for freezer repair, just left, and massage was supposed to start 30 min ago. I decided I wanted the ice maker working more than I wanted the massage today.
Tech had bad news - icemaker fix is expensive and part has to be ordered, so won't be fixed until next week.
I'll have to reschedule massage. I did get the two HOA checks written and ready to be mailed tomorrow.
I am going to walk the dog around the block and then shut my eyes for a few minutes. I feel drained with things coming at me from all directions. I suspect I won't stay long at temple tonight. Dh is there cooking and will probably be wound up with the kitchen crew, so based on last time, he probably won't come and sit with me. Hoping I can sit with dfriend V then make a quick get away.
