I have been thinking that if I could remember a positive thought or think about one thing I am grateful for during my work time that I can change my thought process during the day.

Today is Ramblin's "dirt day" when she does some planting.

For Twins' Mom it is an entertaining day/evening. Lots to think about.

lucylee must have had a busy day getting the tree down; missed hearing from her yesterday.

Cathy is recuperating and hopefully not needing to see doctor again.

bw2, you're always so positive here and I know that behind the smoke and mirrors sometimes it's not so positive. I feel for you. I'm one of those who wallows in "stinkin' thinkin'" sometimes, it may be a by-product of low level depression (dysthymiia) or may just be me. Thank goodness for "better living through chemistry,"

I had an okay time at temple last night - dh sat with me and guest and he wasn't left just to me. I didn't realize he was Israeli so he was difficult for me to understand at times. I was home by 8:15 and dh stayed to help clean up after. I told him he's a good man for doing so. He's gone to Torah study this a.m. - he said he wasn't sure he would go this a.m. Later I'm hoping he'll help me out a bit and he said he would go to the grocery for me. I don't trust an Instacart shopper with getting portobello mushrooms for grilling anyway.

I need to get a list going. Dinner guests will do that!

And somehow, with two dog walks yesterday of one lap each I had nearly 10K steps yesterday, I only need 5100 to get to 52500, or 8600 for 56K this week. I'm not sure what all I did yesterday but I'm sure if it went back through it would be significant. And a total win this week was getting the HOA water troubleshooting behind me.

It is a colder, rainy, dreary weather day here. Reminding myself that I would get bored with everyday being like yesterday's weather.

Last night an hour before the teens were to eat at DD48 home.....she cancelled them. I had to keep my frustration in check so I didn't negatively influence the teens. They decided to go out to eat Chinese food at a place they had never been and had an enjoyable evening. All's well that ends well.

I am sorry she cancelled - you are a good mom - to not negatively influence the teens. I wonder if your dd48 got overwhelmed and had nothing ready or clean. I am glad the teen friends had a wonderful time out together at the Chinese restaurant! good for them.

d twins no doubt that there are a lot. I noticed that if I don't think at least one positive moment in my day that I feel like I am walking through sludge (mentally and physically - that's where I have been and I am tired of it). Looking for the good seems to change my perspective.
I am ready for it!

I have always had depression but I am one who also has been naturally happy at the same time-no idea why-but my grandparents wen't through much during the war and even with that they were always grateful and found a lot of joy in living.

I have the depression that hits for 2 weeks and then I get out of the funk and realize what happened. I am on meds.

I enjoy hearing what mom thinks about when she wakes up for a moment - today was "do you think potatoes started in Ireland?" and off to sleep she went again.

Dh is one the way home, I got the porch swept up altogether and dusted. Need to vacuum but not sure whether I'm going to mop up out there. There's a lot of "worm jerky" where worms have crawled onto the floor and died, and the lower, rougher spots collect dirt and look dusty/dirty. Every time I clean up out there I'm reminded that the people who poured the concrete somehow did a terrible job. They worked and worked on it trying to get it smooth and this is where we ended up. (DH home, I think we're going to see what the Roomba will do there.)

Discussed grocery list with DH. He's going to refill the propane tank too while he's out. Got HOA bill that I paid yesterday into mailbox. A couple of other small things. Dh is tired, assume he either didn't sleep well or got up way too early but his list is not that much. And we decided not to mop the porch. In a few short weeks it will be covered with pollen.

And Roomba is going....

This time:
-whoops, no. trouble shoot why Roomba hasn't started
-clear DR table and put on table cover and table cloth
-swish and swipe both downstairs bathrooms

I tried going to the garden to plant some onions, but the rain was coming down too hard. I scratched that off today's plans.

Next up -

** Assemble a month of Electrolytes mixture
** Walk the driveway in the rain. Check mailbox.

CI/ sensitive tummy warning/ up to a surprise ddoggo had been sick I two spots one was on the towel I have down for her thankfully.
Got that taken care of and she seems fine. Dog towels in the dryer just turned off. I slept well and
surprised that I slept through that.

I have a great idea for my walks diff. colored hoodies for "outfits" and I look forward to them.
Today is grey hoodie day I have some navy sweats with a grey strip I'll need to look up; not dressed yet.
This one goes with pj pants too! LOL!

I have stuff out to make up small pizza's to freeze will do that closer to lunch time.
So I have a plan.

Still getting on the mend & happy with my progress of getting stuff out for spring and summer months.
Looking forward to sitting outside to journal, draw, read, watch birds and enjoy the music of their songs.

I have gotten to the 1/4 of my steps in for this part of my day extras trips to the basement are helping with that.
Thinking how others store yarn or fabrics or crafts.
